The Ōtsutsuki Clan
An ancient clan of parasitic aliens who have spent thousands of years traversing the cosmos consuming other worlds in order to continuously evolve
The purpose of which, is obtaining Godhood
They accomplish this by planting a creature known as the "Ten-Tails". Acting as the "seed", it grows into a "God Tree" with its roots spreading across the planet to siphon chakra and genetic material from all its surroundings and inhabitants, killing everything
After this process, the tree makes a large fruit for the Ōtsutsuki to consu in order for them to evolve. The "Chakra Fruit"
In order for the Ten-Tails seed to bloom into a God Tree, a living Ōtsutsuki must be fed to the beast, hence the clan mbers travel in pairs, the lower ranking being the sacrifice, while the other one watches over the fruit's cultivation
However, the Ōtsutsuki possess the ans of preserving themselves by implanting a form of "Stigma" on another compatible creature. Once activated, it reincarnates the Ōtsutsuki by ans of taking over the subjects body
This power is known as "Karma"
Eventually, the Earth itself would be intruded on by the Matriarch & Patriarch of this clan
But for unknown reasons, the Matriarch would betray her clan and the Patriarch. Keeping the Ten-Tails for herself
Believing she had killed him, she consud a pre-mature chakra fruit and ended the wars humans waged throughout the years. This act would cause the humans to deify her
However, her true purpose was not to save the people for their benefit, but to increase the potential number of servants to obtain
After giving birth to two sons, she used the god tree to harvest the humans. Turning them into white artificial creatures known as "Zetsu"
These creatures would beco the soldiers to fight the war her clan would bring once they discovered her betrayal
Unfortunately, the two sons had inherited her power and decided to fight for humanity
Angered by her sons, the Matriarch rged with and beca the ten-tails. Fighting against her sons only to be bested by them
The eldest son took her chakra, becoming the worlds first "Jinchūriki". Using this power, the two siblings would seal their mother in a vessel that would beco Earth's moon
The younger sibling would stay on the moon to watch over the seal while the eldest remained on Earth, giving chakra to humanity. Gaining the title of the "Sage of Six Paths", he split the chakra from his mother into 9 parts that would beco the "Tailed Beasts"
However, before her defeat, the mother created one last artificial soldier. This "Black Zetsu" would act as her will and enact the plan for her return. Through out history, this creature would create chaos and disrupt the Sage's beliefs and plans for peace
Eventually, this creature would secretly form the criminal organization "Akatsuki" as a ans of reviving the Matriarch
...But what neither of them knew was that the presud dead Patriarch was in fact...very much alive...
A run-down facility located in a barren wasteland far from the "Five Great Shinobi Nations", there was a lab with one man sitting down in a strange chair, multiple tubes were attached to his back
His solitude being his only company, he pondered
"...No matter what I do, this body has yet to improve. I'm going to need a better 'vessel' soon"
Standing up, he went to his desk, annoyed about his current situation
"All the other ones have died. There bodies couldn't handle the 'Karma'. Maybe they're too young? I'll ask for older ones the next ti I see that 'pig' in person"
His voice was so cold yet it contained a hint of worry
"...The world war has ended but everyone is still alert. It's too risky to go out on my own without drawing attention to myself..."
"Kaguya is not yet dead. And thanks to her I'm in no condition to fight. I may have to consider gathering partners to aid but..."
He grit his teeth
"For to ally myself with these inferior creatures...just the idea of it...!"
The man's health was in too bad of a shape to be picky, but his pride was preventing him from making the rational decision
Walking back to the chair
"...I've still got enough ti to think about that option later. I'll just focus on observing the situation for now..."
After plugging back into the chair, the man went to sleep, unaware that soone was approaching his hideout
Around 7 kiloters away, a young boy was spying at the facility with his telescope
"Ugh! Found it. Can't believe I had to haul this 'shit stain' all the way over here"
The only thing of note was that this boy had another person with him...knocked out, tied up, and blindfolded
"Alright...I got it. I'll plant the device now"
Others observing him would believe he suffered ntal issues due to the fact that he was talking to himself
"Finally made it...if all goes according to the guide's plan...I should be fine"
Putting away his telescope, he took off the duffle bag he was wearing
"Now that I have the tools...and the 'bait'...the real gamble can begin..."
