Capítulo 1686: Chapter 1686: Growing Old Together with the Years (1)

“You’ve always called silly, but actually, you’re the silliest,” said Shen Di, feeling sorry for him.

“No, this was a choice I made after much consideration,” Wen Zhiyuan replied as he caressed her hair.

For over a month, he was ntally and physically exhausted, but only at this mont did his heart find peace.

Shen Di said no more; she just wanted to be with him in the future, he wouldn’t let her down, and she wouldn’t let him down either.

“What are you drawing?” Wen Zhiyuan asked as he glanced at the canvas and kissed her forehead.

“Nothing…” Shen Di stretched out her hand to block.

“I saw it.” Wen Zhiyuan smirked slightly and moved her hand away.

The painting depicted a desolate winter landscape, but within it, there was a man standing alone.

“Is this ?” Wen Zhiyuan pointed at the man in the painting and asked.

“Yes, I missed you, so I painted you.”

“Hand the brush,” Wen Zhiyuan extended his hand.

“Hmm? What are you going to paint? Can you draw?” Shen Di asked curiously.

She found that ever since being with Wen Zhiyuan, he had not only good dical skills, but he also dabbled in other fields.

“No, but I want to draw you with ,” Wen Zhiyuan said, “This way, we’ll never be apart.”

“Alright, then draw, I’ll watch you,” Shen Di said, curious about what he would co up with.

With a white pen on a blue background, he drew a few strokes, and soon a cute little rabbit appeared on the canvas.

The rabbit lay obediently at the man’s feet, gentle and docile.

“I’m not a rabbit, Wen Zhiyuan, how could you be so naughty!” Shen Di laughed.

“You’re even more obedient than a rabbit. In the future, with by your side, no one will dare bully you,” Wen Zhiyuan said.

Without saying anything, Shen Di leaned upon his chest, holding his hand as they painted together.

Soon, the butler also learned about the events happening at Wen Zhiyuan’s ho, and she even had soone look into it.

That’s when she discovered that the business world of C City had changed. Wen Family dical Group was renad Luo Family dical Group, taken over by Luo Tiancheng.

Outsiders rumored that Luo Tiancheng bullied the orphan and widow, seizing the group for himself.

Others said Wen Zhiyuan was a spoiled second generation with no intention of inheriting the family business, leading to the group’s failure.

The butler shook her head and afterward harbored no resentnt against Wen Zhiyuan.

She knew, when a man is willing to sacrifice so much, it’s not weakness, it’s commitnt.

After returning to lbourne, Wen Zhiyuan still frequently called ho.

He planned to persuade his family and bring them all to live abroad after so ti.

Yet, his mother hadn’t agreed.

This winter, Wen Zhiyuan often traveled back and forth between lbourne and C City, exhausted, but luckily, Shen Di was always by his side.

“Ayuan, don’t worry about ; I can take care of myself. Spend so ti with your mother,” Shen Di said, adjusting his scarf as they walked back to the house in the evening.

“Sotis I really want to bring you back to et my mother,” Wen Zhiyuan said as he stroked her hair.

“Soday,” Shen Di replied shyly, lowering her head.

“Adi…” Wen Zhiyuan lowered his head, cupping her face, and placed a lingering and affectionate kiss on her lips.

The atmosphere was intense, the living room warm, and Shen Di’s blood instantly surged and flowed faster.

Her body softened, wrapping her arms around Wen Zhiyuan’s waist, responding to his kiss.

Once decided, it was for a lifeti. Wen Zhiyuan was grateful for choosing the right person.

He deepened the kiss, feeling the warm surge within him; love and longing are truly tornting things.

Her lips carried her unique fragrance, like jasmine after the rain, elegant and delightful.

After a long kiss, Wen Zhiyuan lifted her up and carried her to the bedroom.

The room was as warm as spring, and his kisses landed on her face once more, breath fast-paced.

Shen Di did not stop him, closing her eyes, silently accepting his tenderness.

“Adi… believe , I’ll always be by your side,” Wen Zhiyuan whispered tenderly by her ear.

Exchanging deep affection for a glance, growing old together season by season.

“Hmm,” Shen Di closed her eyes, her long lashes fluttering down.

She believed him, she was willing to stay by his side for the rest of her life.

Receiving her response, Wen Zhiyuan deepened the kiss, sliding from her cheek down.

“I…” Shen Di knew what he wanted to do, blushing fiercely, she bit her lip and softly said, “I… first ti.”

Wen Zhiyuan gentled his movents, kissing her delicate neck, his eyes shining brightly.

He felt even more certain that Shen Di was the girl he wanted to cherish for life.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle,” Wen Zhiyuan whispered, kissing her earlobe.

“Hmm…”

The moonlit sky was tranquil, the night hazy.

The bamboo in the garden swayed gracefully in the evening wind, making a rustling sound.

Early the next morning, the butler saw Wen Zhiyuan and Shen Di coming out of the room together, and she understood everything.

Pretending not to notice, the butler went to fetch breakfast.

“I have a surgery today; after breakfast, take a walk in the yard, don’t stay cooped up inside,” Wen Zhiyuan said as he wrapped his arm around Shen Di’s waist.

“Alright, don’t worry about , I’ll chat with the butler, and my brother’s supposed to call later as well.”

“Your brother isn’t married yet?” Wen Zhiyuan asked.

“No, there are plenty of girls chasing him, but he hasn’t found anyone he likes.”

“That’s probably because he hasn’t t soone as wonderful as you,” Wen Zhiyuan smiled, pinching her cheek.

Shen Di blushed, “Ahem, don’t be so forward, there are servants around.”

“Later we should make our relationship public to them,” Wen Zhiyuan suggested.

After breakfast, Shen Di and the butler sat chatting on the balcony.

“Miss, when does Dr. Wen plan to get married?” the butler asked directly.

“This… not in a rush. His family matters aren’t resolved yet, so we should wait.”

“Hmm, as long as he doesn’t break his promise.”

“I trust him.”

“Miss, should we inform the master, Lady Zhou, or the Fourth Young Master about this?”

“No need, let’s wait to surprise them later,” Shen Di laughed, “Otherwise, they’ll co to disturb our peaceful life.”

“Miss, as long as you’re happy and obedient to Dr. Wen, I’ll be relieved and can have so ease,” the butler said.

“Butler, thank you, thank you for taking care of all this ti. With Zhiyuan caring for now, you needn’t worry anymore.”

“Good, good.”

The butler was relieved; the Miss finally had soone to take care of her.

The sunlight was gentle, warming the people beneath it.

The butler was no longer worried; she had entrusted Shen Di to Wen Zhiyuan, and now she was looking forward to their wedding.

Like her own daughter, destined to marry soone one day; when she marries well, the butler can relax.

Now it seed she wouldn’t need to worry anymore as Wen Zhiyuan was a perfect match for Shen Di.
