After the music video release, it was now ti for the promotions. Due to their dwindling existence, Clandestine had scheduled the group for another four weeks of promotions.
The confused Edens, who had gathered at Top Song's shoot, quietly waited for the mysterious SEEDZ to arrive.
Among them was Minji.
She discovered that she was actually qualified for a broadcast ticket and decided to attend it, dragging Seoyun with her. But actually, she was happily dragged by Minji.
When the two t up in front of the venue, they simultaneously looked at the objects in their hands.
"Eh?"
"Eh?"
They were both holding two almost identical lightsticks. It was a single-color lightstick that could be bought online. As though in sync, the two girls turned the lights on at the sa ti. Both turned green.
"You bought one?" Seoyun asked.
Minji shook her head. "Oh, I just saw it on my desk, and I just thought of bringing it."
"I also have it sohow..."
They went silent, and then laughed.
In reality, Minji truly couldn't rember where this lightstick ca from. It was also customized by hand, which she vaguely rembered doing. As for the reason why she customized it, she had no idea.
However, when she saw it, she got the urge to carry it with her. She thought the red flowers that were added on top were cute, and besides, from what she knew, SEEDZ was a new group without an official lightstick yet, so it wouldn't be a harm to bring a single-colored lightstick to the venue.
"I guess we're really friends," Seoyun exclaid.
After a while of waiting and chit-chatting outside, the fans were finally let into the venue.
The entire place was dark-lit, but a few green lightsticks from the audience's hands lit the way. When Minji looked at these lights, she blinked.
'Did I always have good foresight?'
How co everyone brought similar green lightsticks with them?
However, even though Minji was baffled by her sudden foresight, the situation didn't seem weird at all.
Actually, it even felt like the green lightstick was ant to be.
'The group's na is SEEDZ, so they must have thought green was the best color to bring.'
She nodded to herself as though trying to convince herself despite the oddness of the situation.
After a few more minutes of waiting, the people who had co to see SEEDZ had finally all gathered inside. When the staff signaled the start of the filming, Minji squealed in excitent. Imdiately, her eyes focused on the stage.
"I wonder if their pictures are the sa as in real life," she muttered.
'And Rayen!'
When she saw his selfie on IdolVerse, the emptiness she was feeling back then suddenly dispersed. Just a single look was enough to lift her mood!
It must have been the feelings of first love.
And so, she looked forward to seeing him personally.
Seoyun was also in agreent with her. "Their leader seems a bit too charming. I hope it wasn't just photoshopped."
Minji nodded in anticipation.
It would be so disappointing if those pictures she had seen were just embellished photos.
'I hope their face cards are—'
Soon, SEEDZ were finally called, interrupting Minji's thoughts.
Minji's eyes shone as she spotted a man with red hair among the nine mbers that popped out from the entrance of the stage. Her heart suddenly started racing out of nowhere.
'Ah... This face...'
"... Who said they're photoshopped?" Minji muttered.
Seoyun also nodded in a daze. "Right... The cara didn't do his face justice."
"Shining every era! Hello, we're SEEDZ!" the group greeted.
However, the audience was silent as they stared at this group of heavenly people.
"....."
The hosts were left speechless.
Usually, when groups finish their greetings, the fans should be cheering nonstop. Yet today, it was as if they were suddenly starstruck. Their gazes were dazed as they looked at the mbers of SEEDZ.
When the hosts looked at SEEDZ, they were t with nine handso faces and finally understood.
They chuckled awkwardly.
After a small talk, the hosts finally gave the spotlight to SEEDZ.
The mbers all stood in formation. Today, they wore their nostalgic white shirt that was bought in the shop during their Don Juan Era.
The music started.
"Hi, hello, how are you again?
Are you doing fine?"
When Rayen's voice reached Minji's ears, she finally ca back to her senses. The other audiences were also the sa.
The cheers finally ca belatedly.
"Haven't caught up in a while
Are you available right now?"
Out of habit, Minji raised her hand that was holding the lightstick. At the sa ti, the other audience also did the sa. Soon, the entire venue was filled with green lights.
When this sight filled Minji's vision, a similar image suddenly seed to flash in her mind.
She blinked and the scene changed.
'Eh? What was that?'
Once again, she fell into a daze.
However, the music continued to ring in her ears. Because of this, her heart gradually tightened, and her nose wrinkled in itchiness.
Sniff.
'I feel like I'm about to cry.'
She tried to wipe away the incoming tears at the corners of her eye, but the stinging pain in her chest was still there. Gradually, it rose up to her throat.
"What's your plan for today?"
"I don't know."
"When are we going to catch up soon?"
"Still, I don't know."
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"Maybe tomorrow."
Xi Huan's and Iris's exchanges of lines seed to scratch deep in her heart. And even though Seoyun was beside her, she couldn't help but look at her friend.
"Seoyun..." she called to her friend.
Seoyun also tearfully glanced at her.
"I don't know why, but I suddenly miss you..."
"Y-You too?" Seoyun choked amidst her words.
When the chorus of the song arrived and Yeo Haru sang these lines, the emotions welling up inside them burst out. The two friends started wailing.
"WHAAAA!!!"
'Ah... Why am I crying?'
Sure, the music was good. Even when she watched it on UCube or just listened along, she couldn't help but be touched by the lyrics.
'It's so beautiful. It's a masterpiece.'
However, after listening to it nonstop in the past days, she seed to have gained immunity to it.
Well, that was in the past. Today, the immunity she acquired no longer seems to work.
Just looking at SEEDZ sent her into a sorrowful state. And their white shirts even added to her lancholy.
"When are we going to et again?
Scatter, scatter. "
The formation scattered as the lyrics said. And this scene sent a knife to her soul. An image also appeared in her mind.
SEEDZ suddenly disappeared. Without a word or any announcent, they just disappeared.
'No. Don't disappear!'
Soon, though, it wasn't just her who was crying.
"Blown in the wind.
Just like ashes, never to et again."
Simultaneously, like a dam, the mories that were buried in the depths of her mind returned to her. And as it did, she couldn't stop herself from wailing more
"Whaaaaa!!! I'm sorry!" she scread in anguish.
The mont the song ended, the entire venue was filled with the sound of wailing.
At that stage, the mbers of SEEDZ stared at the scene below. It was a familiar sight.
"Whaaaaa!!!!"
"Huhuhuhu!!!"
"Why did you guys disappear?!"
"I MISS YOU GUYS!"
"SEEDZ!!!"
"I'm sorry I forgot you!!!"
"I miss you, Rayen! I miss you! Where did you all go?!"
Seeing the tearful faces of the fans, the mbers' hearts all ached, but at the sa ti, the sight also touched them.
"Welco back, SEEDZ!" Edens cheered at the sa ti.
