The mont Plotter and Clandestine went out of the Great Library, a day had already passed by. Misty was just about to open her mouth and greet the two Overseers when she noticed the wide smile on Plotter.
Ever since she was hired, she already grasped so things.
Plotter creepy wide smile = in a bad mood.
Misty imdiately shut her mouth. Clandestine was even more in a bad mood after having sat in that eting for an entire night.
Clandestine went over to Misty. "Go call the Minstrels to the eting room. Everyone, including Ayumi."
Misty nodded and left the reception desk to head to the dorm floor.
Having no school day today, the mbers of SEEDZ were pretty idle. It was such a rare day to have so free ti.
However, Rayen was unusually tense.
Xi Huan was bored lying on the sofa together with Adrian. They were already dressed to go out, but they had been stopped by Rayen and Ren earlier. The sa was for the other mbers.
Now, all of them were lazily lying anywhere in the living room. Adrian’s lazy virus seed to have infected the others too.
"Attending university is so fun. Why do we have to stay here?"
Rayen looked at her with a frown.
"Rayeye, you’ve been frowning ever since morning. Can I take pictures of you and post them on IdolVerse? Your fans have been complaining about you not posting at all."
"....."
’Was I frowning?’
Rayen tried to relax his face.
Since he didn’t answer Xi Huan’s request, she had already taken a picture of him.
"Hey, don’t upload it."
"Okay~ Do you want to upload it yourself?"
At the side, Adrian turned his head to Rayen. "Do you know what’s happening, Eureka?"
As usual, Adrian was on the spot to ask Rayen.
Just then, a knocking sound broke the cold silence in the dorm. The heads of all the mbers glanced in its direction.
"I’ll go," Rayen said, getting up from the floor.
However, Adrian also followed him. And like baby ducklings, the others also followed.
When the room to the SEEDZ dorm opened, Misty was unexpectedly welcod by all the mbers. Her eyes swiftly landed on Rayen and Yeo Haru, but Adrian was in between them. Her shoulders slumped down in disappointnt.
"What is it?" Rayen asked.
"The Overseers are asking all of you to go to the eting room downstairs."
"Did they say what for?"
Misty shook her head.
"We’ll go down in a minute."
"Okay. I’ll also call for Ms. Ayumi next door."
’Ayumi too?’
Looks like this matter is quite big. Adrian peeked at Rayen from the corner of his eyes.
The team headed downstairs in a while. On the way, they also encountered Ayumi, who was accompanied by Misty. Ayumi stared at them with her bright, round eyes.
"Hello," she greeted.
The two sides exchanged polite greetings and continued on to the 1st floor’s eting room.
The atmosphere inside was cold. Clandestine’s eyes had dark circles underneath as she occupied the head chair, while Plotter’s wide smile was still evident on his face.
"You can go ho now. Tell the other workers to go ho too. You don’t have to go to work in the an ti. Have fun and enjoy your break. Still, watch out to be call—" Clandestine said to Misty.
"Am I getting fired?" Misty, stunned, interrupted her before she could finish speaking.
"No. What made you think that?"
"I read on EntiRoom that the Entity system was down. Is sothing going on?"
Hearing that, the Minstrel’s stared at the Overseers.
Rayen’s frown returned on his face. He already knew this after asking Mini Plotter earlier, but the others were still in the shadows.
The gazes of eleven people were too overbearing for Clandestine. She was too tired after being in the eting and did not have the energy to explain.
"Reduce the ti you’re spending on social dia." She gestured for Misty to leave.
Misty could only head out of the eting room, her question unanswered. Because of this, she was already constructing scenes inside her own mind.
’My workplace is going to close down!’
After Misty left, the Minstrels each took a seat around the eting table.
"Now, for the reason of this eting. We need to discuss a few things." Clandestine started. "All your activities will be on hold."
The Minstrel’s eyes widened. Was Misty’s concern the truth?
"Is the company really—"
"No. What nonsense are you talking about?"
If not that, then...
"Are we going to be on hiatus?" Adrian asked.
Clandestine nodded. "Yes."
"For how long?"
"Indefinitely."
The room fell silent.
"Is my debut getting postponed too?" Ayumi also asked.
"Yes. Everyone is not allowed to have any contact with the outside world."
At these words, Rayen, Xu Jiji, and Yeo Haru looked at each other. If they were not allowed to have contact with the outside world, what about Gil and Son Areum in the club? Oh, also Yoo Gyeo (Plotter No.4).
The performance proposal was due tomorrow!
"Don’t post anything. Don’t talk to anyone. Everyone would have to stay inside this building only. And also, don’t use any book pages for a while," Clandestine stated.
Rayen was even more stunned.
If he couldn’t use any book pages, what about his snacks?
"Why?" Rayen couldn’t help but blurt out.
But he had already seen the answers himself. It was the Artificial Book Page’s fault that this was happening.
Rayen closed his mouth.
However, Xu Jiji, who also knew the reasons also asked, "Why are we being put into hiatus? We can expel the Bugs, right?"
Adrian’s brows raised as he crossed his arms in his seat. Unit 1 really does seem knowledgeable about this matter.
anwhile, Clandestine glanced at Plotter. Rayen’s gaze also shifted to him.
’Is it his fault?’
"If we don’t appear in public for a while, won’t we disappear?" Iris said.
The room fell silent once again.
"You don’t have to worry. Just like what Xu Jiji said, you’re effectivity on expelling the Bugs was already proven," Clandestine said without looking away from Plotter. "In fact, it was so effective that you can ensure your survival in this upheaval."
Their eyes shone imdiately once they heard this. Rayen also breathed a sigh of relief. But then, his breath hitched.
This wasn’t a good ti to celebrate yet! They still have no way to contact their other mbers in the club!
Even if they were still allowed to perform the mass debugging, if they wouldn’t be able to pass the proposal on ti, forget about it! They wouldn’t be able to do the mass debugging at all!
