Rayen, Jiji, and Haru arrived in front of the faculty once more. When Mr. Min saw the three, he tilted his head in confusion.

"What are you doing here?"

"We’re here to submit a club creation request," Rayen answered.

Mr. Min blinked. "You have to discuss this with Ms. Jin herself. She’s the one assigned for this kind of paperwork."

Rayen nodded and led his two teammates toward his horoom teacher.

Ms. Jin was busy even during the lunch break. Her desk was stacked with papers, it wasn’t easy to even see her head behind the mountains of docunts. As soon as they reached Ms. Jin’s desk, she looked up toward them.

She nudged her glasses up. "Rayen? What’s the matter?"

"Actually, we’re here to try to submit a club creation form." Rayen held up a piece of paper toward her. "I heard that we only needed three mbers to create our own club."

Ms. Jin looked down and took the paper from him to read. Their three nas were written on it.

This was their mission.

Actually, creating a club wasn’t really the exact mission. It’s just that Rayen figured it would be the best thod.

[Mission 1: Create a Flower Garden recruiting hub on Gyeongwon Affiliated High School]

Rayen and the two silently waited for Ms. Jin’s response for a while.

"Unfortunately... I can’t grant this request."

Rayen blinked. "Why?"

Ms. Jin nudged up her glasses once again before answering.

"You’re only a temporary student."

"But I’m still a student."

"Well, in about a month, you won’t be anymore. What will happen to the club, then?"

"In a month, there will be other mbers too."

"Then co back to after you find other mbers," Ms. Jin said and tucked the paper inside her desk drawer. "I’m sorry. I’m currently busy, so if you please may."

She then deliberately ignored the three of them. However, Xu Jiji refused to budge in his place.

"Ms. Jin," he called out.

Ms. Jin peeked at them from the corners of her eyes. "You still haven’t left?"

"Ms. Jin, how much do you want for you to approve our application?"

"..."

’What is this kid saying?’

Rayen glanced at Xu Jiji in surprise. The other teachers inside the faculty also heard the sa thing and curiously glanced toward Ms. Jin’s table.

"Please tell us how much, and we’ll give it to you. Just approve our application as soon as possible."

The corners of Rayen’s mouth twitched. Ms. Jin was thoroughly speechless. She then glanced at Rayen with a weird gaze.

Rayen was sure of one thing. She was telling him sothing with those eyes... What did you teach a young child?

Upon getting stared at sharply by Ms. Jin, Rayen chuckled wryly.

’Just where did Jiji learn such bad habits?’

"We’ll co back again, Ms. Jin," Rayen said.

Awkwardly, Rayen grabbed Xu Jiji and Yeo Haru by the scruff of their collars and dragged them out of the faculty room.

Once they were out, Rayen huffed in exhaustion and let go of his two mbers. Only half a day had passed, yet he felt tired as a mother dog after dragging his two puppies away.

Xu Jiji touched his chin in contemplation. "Strange... Our manager said that if sothing didn’t work out, money would solve the problem."

Rayen glanced at him weirdly.

’So, it was that person’s fault.’

Sigh.

Before the break ti ended, Rayen took the two to their classroom and headed toward his own.

Mission temporarily failed...

As he sat down in his seat, he glanced around at his classmates. Once again, he felt several eyes landing on him. A few monts later, three figures stood up and approached Rayen.

’Who should I ask to join us?’

"I saw your debut, it was superb!" one student said as he sat down at the vacant table in front of Rayen. "By the way, I’m Choi Jaehan! Nice to et you."

Choi Jaehan has a tear mole right under his eye. Sohow, he looked similar to soone Rayen knew.

’Who was it again? Right... Choi Jiho of ALTAIR.’

Rayen stared more at Jaehan’s face, but as Jaehan smiled and stretched out his hand, the sense of familiarity that Rayen felt thoroughly disappeared.

’Am I just mistaken?’

Rayen shook his hands. "Nice to et you."

"You’re older than us, right?" another student asked.

From her shirt, Rayen read her na — Lee Seoha.

The student beside her nudged her side. The na on her chest was Son Areum.

Lee Seoha continued. "Why? I’m just askin’ ’cause he definitely looks old. So, how old are you?"

Upon hearing that, Rayen’s mouth twitched. Being asked like this, he totally didn’t want to admit his age.

"Hey..." The girl who nudged Lee Seoha whispered to her ear. "Even if he looks old, he’s definitely hot!"

She was supposed to be whispering, but why could Rayen hear it clearly?

"....."

After she finished whispering, she looked down shyly, unable to look Rayen in the eyes.

anwhile, Lee Seoha’s eyes curiously looked at him up and down. Then, she nodded.

"You’re right. He indeed looks hot. But if his hair wasn’t black, he’d definitely stand out more."

"....." Rayen was speechless once more.

"But I have one question," Choi Jaehan said.

Rayen sighed and let him continue.

"How can we join Flower Garden?"

’As expected.’

Well...

It was Rayen’s turn to look them up and down.

’If you probably die and leave behind a seed, you can join our agency.’

Of course, Rayen didn’t say that to their face. Besides, he was here, trying to look out for a possible candidate for their new club.

But since this mber would be one of the founders of the club — an inner circle mber — he couldn’t just recruit anyone for this position. Their true goal was to recruit an Entity. The club was just a mask they could use to hide its true purpose.

Thud!

As the loud noise reached Rayen’s and the students’ ears, they all glanced toward the source of the sound.

At the center of the classroom, there was a short person with light blue highlights who had stood up. His hands were still on his desk after he slamd it down.

Looking at this short figure, Rayen felt a sense of familiarity. However, this familiarity didn’t comfort him.

"Stop making him awkward!"

When the short person said that, he turned around.

’... Damn. Why is he here? Why didn’t I notice him earlier?’
