As the fragrant sll of food wafted out from the kitchen to the living room, the stomachs of the mbers of SEEDZ simultaneously rumbled. Despite the hunger assaulting their stomachs, the rest of the mbers still remained in their seats with straight backs — aside from Adrian, Ren and Liam.
The reason for this unusual scene was because they have unusual guests.
The Director was sitting on Ren’s wooden stool, her back straight and eyes closed. It was unknown whether she was asleep or not.
Plotter also ca out from the kitchen room, carrying a birthday cake with a smile on his face.
Behind him, Ren followed with a dark face. The pink apron he was wearing was a total contrast from his black clothes and eyeliner.
It was comically awful to the eyes.
When Plotter was done admiring his work of art, he glanced at the remaining six mbers of Seedz gathered in the living room.
"Hmm... Who shall be appointed on waking up our dear main vocalist?" Plotter mused to himself.
His gaze swept among the six figures.
Just then, Yeo Haru raised his hand. "Can I?"
Plotter raised his brow and thought for a mont. "Okay, you’ll do fine, I guess."
With that, Yeo Haru stood up with stiff movents to get Rayen to the living room.
It wasn’t that he volunteered out of goodwill. He just really wanted to get away from this place.
As SEEDZ’s head manager, Plotter took it upon himself to organize Rayen’s birthday party, handing each of them a party blower and giving them tasks one by one.
Without Yeo Haru, it fell upon Adrian to set up the cara. The eldest mbers: Iris and Mr. Big News was assigned to monitor the livestream. Xi Huan reluctantly volunteered herself the task of popping up the party poppers.
anwhile, Liam took out the Party Hat book page, wearing it on his head for the anti with Rayen still not present. But a few seconds later, the Party Hat crawled down to his chin.
...
While the fans were busy trying to topple the ever-impenetrable hater account, sothing suddenly interrupted them.
The mont their UCube’s notification bell went off, everyone stopped whatever they were doing to look at the newly arrived notification.
[SEEDZ Official (Live Now)]
’!!!’
After a few days of silence, the group’s official UCube channel suddenly woke up from its deep slumber. Imdiately, the fans clicked on the link. The title of the livestream was only one word, leaving the fans confused.
[Surprise!]
– Surprise for what? For us fans?
– Live? Wow!
– Is this a miracle?
– What’s happening?
Different from the ongoing traffic of fans going inside the live and flooding the comnt section, the stream was utterly silent, leaving the fans confused at this sudden occasion.
Right now, the cara was directed at the door with no one inside the fra.
– Did they hit the live button by mistake?
Just then, a figure entered the fra, holding a cake.
– Who’s the person holding the cake? So stunning!
– Was there a mber who looked like that?
– Wow, yummy! I an the cake!
– Surprise and a cake?
– Are they going to surprise soone?
– Oh! Oh! The door is opening!
At the sa ti as the comnt section rapidly scrolled due to the large influx, making Mr. Big News and Iris dizzy, the door to the room gradually opened. Then, a slender figure with fiery red hair appeared, still looking sleepy with his half-closed eyes.
Pop! Pop!
Suddenly, the whole stream was filled with colorful confetti.
"Happy birthday!"
– Is it Rayen’s birthday?
– Hehe, I just took a screenshot of his bare sleepy face!
– He’s still looking fresh even after waking up.
– Happy birthday, Cactus Boy!
A chorus of voices started to sing together as figures appeared from each corner of the living room.
"Happy birthday to you..."
Beside him, Yeo Haru also sang along.
"Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, dear Rayen...
Happy birthday to you..."
Rayen blinked, the slightest trace of sleepiness on his face had thoroughly disappeared.
’What’s happening?’
At the center of the group that suddenly appeared, he saw Plotter holding a cake. He walked toward Rayen, holding out the cake to him.
"What’s this?" Rayen asked.
"It’s your birthday!" Plotter said.
"It’s definitely no—"
Rayen suddenly stopped. He glanced at the calendar on the wall.
[February 17]
’Damn, it really is my birthday.’
Originally, Rayen’s birthday was in August, so he wasn’t paying attention to the date. But today’s supposed to be Im Ra-yen’s birthday.
Plotter laughed at his reaction. "Now, make a wish and blow out your candle."
Rayen restrained his lips from twitching. Aside from the cake that Plotter was offering him, Adrian also pushed the cara to his face as though he wanted to capture even his smallest pore.
’This bastard’s trying to annoy again.’
It was quite awkward celebrating soone else’s birthday as his own. And being in front of the cara even added more to this awkwardness.
So, this was why Mini Plotter told him he would et his physical incarnation the day after...
Still, he could do nothing but oblige seeing the expectant look on Plotter’s face.
"Then..." Rayen looked at the cara and smiled. "I wish for a successful debut. And I wish that my fans would always be happy."
’Please stop thinking about that hater anymore and give back my everyday inco.’
After silently praying for the last part, Rayen blew on the candle.
"Happy birthday!" Plotter greeted again, his grin widening even more.
Rayen stared at this enigmatic Overseer. Unlike his usual annoying smile, Plotter’s smile right now seed softer.
For a mont, Rayen’s heart couldn’t find a thing to complain about him. However, it wasn’t quite the sa with the other mbers — especially Ren.
Well, after four months of being under the caras’ watch, the mbers were already used to not letting out their actual composure onscreen. But perhaps because Plotter was acting unusual, instead of feeling tense, they seed even more bewildered.
What’s with this difference in his usual attitude? Was this really the Overseer they knew?!
