Yeo Haru and the others from their team also joined the two in their area. Yeo Haru was even acting nonchalant with the others as though he wasn’t sulking earlier in the morning.
"I heard my brother’s famous tale about this. What did you do back then?" Yeo Haru asked.
Riding along with him, Rayen answered casually. "Nothing. I just stood onstage."
Yeo Haru flashed a thumb’s up. "Impressive."
Yet, the mont the first participants’ nas were called, Yeo Haru’s hard-earned enthusiasm died down.
Watching the elimination process... was really too taxing to the mind. It was like they were watching a death-row inmate finally et their demise.
Sigh.
When Binh and Minho’s turn ca, Yeo Haru’s face fell even more. Especially as he read the comnts on the screen.
– It’s finally justice ti. Weed Garden, make sure to clean your backyard today of rotten things.
– Ah. What karma.
– They’re not even idols yet, but they already have the guts to gossip behind their backs.
Unlike Rayen, these two had no excuse for their own words. It really ca from their own mouths, so their fans (if they still have so left) could only shut the comnt section down without being able to defend them.
– I can’t believe I voted for Minho last ti.
– They’re not even that good-looking.
– Useless baggages. Do they even have the right to complain?
Rayen sneaked a glance at Yeo Haru. The guy already had a dark look on his face. It even turned darker when nastier comnts appeared with their survival.
"Ah, it’s so frustrating. I’m not going to watch anymore!"
With that, Yeo Haru walked out of the central hall.
Rayen was already regretting his own decision too. Not only did he have to relive the toughest mont of his afterlife, the comnts that briefly passed by on the screen also seed to be cheering for his bad fortunes.
As the viewers watched the mont Rayen’s na was called as one of the participants who fell under the danger line, the comnt section was filled with a barrage of cheers from his haters.
– At least kick the leader!
– Rayen should be kicked out once and for all. I really hate his guts right from the start.
– There’s only three of them. What happened to the last one? Did he not get kicked out?
– Flower Garden is finally listening.
Rayen smiled wryly.
’I’m the only one still alive and kicking though.’
There’s nothing much different in this episode from what Rayen rembered about what happened during the eliminations. Only the sensitive parts — such as the disappearance of the eliminated participants — were thoroughly cut-off.
But Adrian and the others from Seven Flowers were curious as to how Rayen did not get eliminated, yet even earned his infamous tale that saved him.
The mont it was Rayen’s turn ca to stand on stage, the comnt section once again buzzed.
– Kick him! Kick him! Kick him!
– Whoever still supports this guy even after all that happened are stupid.
Adrian snickered at the side. "I see, you have 17 idiotic sponsors."
Rayen chuckled awkwardly. In truth, he also thought those Entities were crazy to choose him even after all that happened.
’I’m definitely what you call the dangerous card.’
Those who voted for him were definitely lunatic. What did they ever see in him? They even made a ruckus that ti.
Not long after, the unexpected results were displayed for everyone to see. A mont of silence ensued for a second in the comnt section before it exploded.
– What the f*ck. How can he still not get eliminated? Who were these idiots?
– Ah, this is it, Weed Garden. I’ll definitely drop this survival show in my list. This is too unfair.
– Tell , I sll sothing here. Who the hell are these 17 people? I seriously doubt these 17 people even exist.
When Rayen read the last comnt, a similar thought also popped up in his mind.
’Yeah, right. I still haven’t t them yet myself.’
Who were these 17 people?
Just as Rayen was wondering about it, a short interview clip was inserted in between the scenes. It was a man that he hadn’t seen before. He also wasn’t a participant.
"I just saw the potential in him."
Similar clips were also displayed explaining as to why they chose Rayen. These people were Rayen’s sponsors whom he still hadn’t t.
The third round had already passed, yet he still hadn’t t them. Will he be able to et them before the finals?
Rayen’s elimination segnt finally finished as the rest continued. To even more of the haters’ disappointnt, none of the "bullies" were evicted.
The result affected the views of the show for a bit. So did leave and stopped watching. Rayen didn’t care anymore though. If they didn’t want to watch, it wasn’t his business.
The more Rayen watched the elimination segnt, the more annoyed and sad he felt. Seeing the pale faces on screen was a bit harder than he thought. The mood in the whole leisure area also soured, especially those who knew the eliminated participants.
’I shouldn’t have watched it.’
Just as Rayen and the others were contemplating whether to finish watching the episode or not, an unexpected clip was suddenly played before them.
Rayen and the others’ brows furrowed.
In their mories — especially for those who were part of the elimination segnt — they knew that the eliminated participants directly disappeared. However...
A sense of lancholy filled the room, yet it wasn’t as bad as before — not as heavy and unbearable.
What they were watching wasn’t sothing really unexpected. It was just the scene of their fellow participants eating leisurely on that familiar cafeteria table.
’Did Binh, Minho and Renjiro also share a al with the others before they disappeared?’
Yeon Miwol played them with her acting!
"Well, at least they were not hungry when they left."
Small sad smiles played on everyone’s lips.
Although they felt sowhat cheated, at least it alleviated a little bit of their survivor’s guilt.
’Still, that damn Plotter...’
