Monday the next day.

Rayen and the other participants gathered inside the dance practice studio. Seated on their seats, they waited for the start of the 3rd interim evaluations.

The seating arrangent was divided into four sections for each of the group and the participants without one. Rayen glanced at them and saw Binh looking straight ahead, his expression unreadable.

Sigh.

’Hope he’ll do well.’

Shifting his gaze away from Binh, he also found Minho from Ara’s team. Unlike Binh, Minho was looking listless and pale. More than Binh, Rayen was more worried about this guy.

Renjiro was still his usual self, dazed.

Well, Rayen was in no position to worry about others. He was also in a precarious situation. He could almost feel so eyes staring down at him.

Rayen snickered to himself before looking around, staring back at the people he caught looking at him. One of them was actually soone he knew — Liam.

’You also want my part?’

Raising his brows, Rayen stared at Liam intently who only averted his gaze. Finally, a female staff mber went to the podium while holding a map. She announced the start of the filming before descending from the stage again.

’Imdiately?’

Plotter and the Director were still nowhere to be found. And there were also no sponsors present here. Who would evaluate them?

"For this interim evaluation, the one who will evaluate you will be yourself too."

’Us?’

The studio buzzed in murmurs.

"After every performance in each group, each mber of the team will go inside that room." The staff mber pointed at a door that wasn’t there before. "You will vote for the mbers whom you want to keep."

After the short announcent, the staff mber no longer had anything to say. Instead, she called out for the first team to undergo the evaluation.

"Team Seven Flowers."

Rayen straightened his back upon hearing their team na. Adrian was the first one to stand up from his seat until everyone followed him to the stage. They lined up onstage as per the staff mber’s instructions.

The staff mber turned to the participants below the stage. "For the participants who want to challenge anyone from this team’s mbers, please go up the stage and stand behind that participant."

Hearing that, about half of the seated figures below stood up and ascended the stage.

Rayen observed Liam. He remained on his seat, his face looking conflicted. But in the end, he didn’t leave his seat. Seeing that, Rayen flashed him a smile.

Liam noticed his smile and sighed.

One by one, the participants that went up the stage walked behind the person they wanted to challenge.

Behind Rayen, two people lined up — Ara and Ren.

Rayen glowered at Ren whose eyeliner was nowhere to be found. Ren noticed his gaze then looked down to avoid it. He really seed so pure and innocent, but Rayen knew this guy had a heart as black as his eyeliner.

’You want to take my part, huh?’

The staff mber instructed the others to step aside first except for Xi Huan and her contenders. Then, she turned toward Rayen’s team.

"Is there anyone from you who wants to challenge Participant Xi Huan’s parts too?"

The remaining mbers of Team Seven Flowers looked at each other. Xi Huan had two parts — the second and the last.

Without further ado, Rayen stepped forward. One more person did too.

Yeo Haru.

The two glanced at each other.

"Oh, c’mon..." Yeo Haru exclaid.

Rayen chuckled.

"What part do you want, bro?" Yeo Haru walked toward him as they lined up with Xi Huan.

"The last part," Rayen answered.

"... Really? Why?"

Rayen smiled. "You know it."

Yeo Haru grumbled but didn’t say anything. It seed like they were on the sa page.

The last part... Why wouldn’t Rayen want it? Even though it wasn’t a killer part, he’d be at the center for the ending pose.

For every performance broadcast, he noticed that at the end, the cara would always focus on the center position for the ending. That ant more screen ti! Not that he wanted screen ti, but considering his dire situation from the public’s eyes, if he couldn’t prove himself, then he wouldn’t be surprised if he would be among the elimination candidates again.

’It sucks to be in there...’

Also, it wouldn’t hurt if he got more parts. Rayen also considered Xi Huan’s stats. Although Rayen’s dancing skill was lower than Xi Huan, compared to his other teammates in Team Seven Flowers, Xi Huan was probably the easiest person to snatch a part from. Most of Rayen’s teammates had higher levels on their skills. Only Ayumi and Xi Huan had more normal stats. And if Rayen snatched a part from Ayumi, he would feel guilty because she only had a single part.

So, Xi Huan, it is.

When the two arrived behind Xi Huan, she only grinned at them.

"You dare?" Xi Huan asked, showing her sharp canine teeth in a grin.

"I can’t?" Yeo Haru taunted back.

"You’ll regret it," Xi Huan replied.

The seemingly empty threat seed to have worked as Rayen noticed Yeo Haru stiffened beside him.

"Ugh, I forgot..." Yeo Haru whispered.

"What?" Rayen asked, eyebrows raised.

Yeo Haru turned to him, face pale. "I forgot she’s my roommate."

Rayen frowned.

’So what?’

Yeo Haru continued, "Don’t tell you don’t have a problem with your roommate, brother?"

"....."

’Oh, right...’

With that, the two turned silent.

Since Xi Huan had two parts, Rayen and Yeo Haru had to stay at the corner first to watch the battle for her other part.

Xi Huan was at the center with one other participant. This challenger was soone unfamiliar to Rayen. He was among those who didn’t get any music sheet on the first floor.

They will dance at the sa ti together for the sa part.

Finally, the song was played, reverberating throughout the studio. Xi Huan and her challenger started dancing. Team Seven Flowers watched intently as they would be the one evaluating them.

As for the challenger... nevermind about him. Rayen didn’t know if this person even practiced.

With that, Rayen focused on listening to their singing. Xi Huan’s vocals had more depth and stability than the other three.

The part wasn’t long, and it was over imdiately. With that, Rayen and Yeo Haru along with other two people joined Xi Huan and the first challenger.

When they’ve all gotten into position, the staff mber raised her hand holding the microphone and announced the start of the battle.
