Rayen was growing numb as he watched his teammates act weirdly. Ayumi was lying on the floor, staring at the lights with her round black eyes.
Pointing at it, she said, "Ah, I see the light..."
Then, she stood up and miraculously danced like a master.
anwhile, Xu Jiji was on the corner. His arms were bended as he repeatedly swayed his elbow up and down as though he was a bird. While doing that, he sang his parts without faltering.
Apparently, his character right now was a songbird.
Not only these two. Iris was twirling like a ballerina, Xi Huan was hopping all over the place, Yeo Haru was howling like a wolf.
This was the effect of the characterization skill of the Playwright’s Quill. Everyone had to act like their characters to gain the character’s attribute.
And now, Rayen was waiting for his own page to be finished by Adrian.
"Is this fine?" Adrian asked, handing over a paper toward Rayen as the quill on his hand disappeared.
The scribbles on the paper were still wet with ink, so Rayen had to be careful not to touch it as he read.
"Once upon a ti, there was a genius producer who lived by the principle that great music cos from the people around you. So, this genius producer needed to consu gossip to gain inspiration."
"What the hell is this?" Rayen’s lips twitched as he read the words.
"Hahaha. Isn’t it neat?"
’Neat my ass.’
"You want to act as a busybody?"
"My dear vocalist, this is the best I can do right now," Adrian said as he leaned on the wall in exhaustion. "You know, it’s hard for soone to co up with sothing whenever they’re tired."
Right. Every ti Adrian uses the quill, he’d expend so energy. Even though Rayen wanted to write his own character in order to not burden this writer, Adrian still insisted. So, here they were.
Adrian closed his eyes to take a rest.
How to tell soone you just wanted to slack off without telling soone to slack off?
"Oh, right. Here. Sign your na to bind it," Adrian said.
Rayen snatched the quill from Adrian’s hand then wrote his na with a grimace. Although Rayen didn’t want the side effects he got, but compared to his other teammates...
’Yeah, this was better.’
Besides, the writer also couldn’t control what would be the result of the characters themselves. True, they could write what the intended attributes they wanted, but for the overall details of the character, according to Adrian, he couldn’t control what kind of idea would pop-up in his mind.
So, whatever he thought of at the mont, that would be the end result of the character. And then, Rayen’s character turned out to be like this.
After Rayen wrote his na on the paper, he felt an invisible force enter his mind.
’I want gossip... I want gossip...’
Suppressing those thoughts, Rayen peeked at his Status Window to see the attribute he got.
[Production Inspiration 100% (23:59:52 remaining)]
Rayen requested Adrian this particular effect to help him finish his ranking mission, just hoping it would work.
’I want gossip... I want gossip...’
Unable to suppress the thoughts completely, his mind continued on its desperate plea. Rayen closed the Idol:Revive app and opened the browser to quench this genius producer character’s thirst for gossip.
Where else could he find so gossip besides the Internet? But what kind of gossip should he look for?
Just then, his eyes wandered at the bottom of the browser. There, a list of recomnded sites and articles were displayed for him to see — all of it related to the show’s matter.
Rayen decided to just randomly pick one of these links, clicking onto one of them. It led him to a news article site related to show business and such topics.
[Immortals to Join A New Entertainnt Company? Just In!]
Rayen frowned.
’Immortals? Isn’t this the group of Yeo Haru’s sponsors?’
He always encountered this na in the comnt section during the public broadcast, but it was a common word, so he wasn’t entirely sure if it was the sa thing as he was thinking.
Scrolling down, he finally determined that he was right.
[Currently, there have been rumors that the K-pop group Immortals is planning to join Flower Garden agency.
This rumor originated from a slip of tongue coming from the leader of Immortals himself, Han Jeongwoon, during the broadcast of The Most Varied Show.
"Oh, in the anti, the group has co to an agreent with Flower Garden," said Han Jeongwoon.
(Video Clip.mp3)
Although this hasn’t been confird yet, the news itself triggered many reactions from the fans of the group.
Six years ago, Immortals debuted under Eternal Records, an independent music label that was founded by Immortals themselves. What could be the particular reason that the group is now planning on moving under a company when they’ve always remained independent for years?]
’Is this true?’
Since they were still on a short break because of Adrian’s exhaustion, Rayen just decided to read the comnts under the article.
– Daebak. Are they really coming under Flower Garden?
>> They didn’t exactly say that. They just ntioned reaching an agreent. Let’s not co to the conclusion yet. I’m sure Jeongwoon and Immortals will provide a clearer explanation for us.
– No! Don’t join Weed Garden! Their managent sucks! You should take Yeo Haru away from them instead!
– What the heck is happening? They’ve remained independent for years. What’s the aning of this?
– This is probably just another PR ploy by the weed garden to make the people forget their issues.
>> If it’s another ploy, why is Immortals going along with them? Isn’t Yeo Haru their protégé? Stop posting BS.
Whether this news was true or false, it’d just co down to the sa topic that Rayen didn’t want to see.
Sigh.
Well, at least the people would talk about this BS instead of focusing on the bullying scandal.
Rayen set aside his phone and looked at the ti. Their fifteen minute break was nearing its end, so he stood up and looked at Adrian.
’Should I kick this guy awake?’
