After giving them his advice, Mr. Big News seed to accept it. After all, what Rayen said were considered reasonable.
They were currently participants in a show. The sponsors were investing on them. And so, as participants, they should sell themselves to the consurs which were the audience.
What was their prize for that?
Simple. They get to live again.
If they think that it was for a chance to live again, they should be willing to sell themselves and not be ashad of what they were doing. It could be a pretty effective mindset.
At least, that was the case for Rayen.
Resuming with the practice, everyone gathered to dance again. Mr. Big News tried hard to do what Xu Jiji advised him while incorporating Rayen’s words.
The result? Sowhat, it was effective. Although Mr. Big News still struggled, at least, he wasn’t as stiff as earlier.
Rayen didn’t notice it right away, but his team skills had actually leveled up by one point after that.
When the afternoon approached, the team mbers all felt exhausted and slumped on the ground.
Suddenly, two phones buzzed simultaneously together. Rayen looked at the corner where they had placed all of their belongings.
Scrambling toward it, Rayen grabbed his phone and the other one, passing it to Minho.
On their screen, there was a ssage notification. It was from an old group chat they haven’t opened for a while.
[Binh: Are you guys on break now? Want to eat together?]
’Oh, it’s Binh.’
Rayen didn’t expect Binh to be the one to drop a ssage first because of the incident back then. Looking at Minho, Rayen silently asked if he would go.
To answer his question, Minho sent a ssage to the group.
[Minho: Save a seat, bro.]
Shortly after, Renjiro also sent a ssage. These trio were together almost everyday whenever they had free ti, so there was no need to think about it.
What’s just unusual was Binh’s approach this ti. Usually, he would reach out to them via direct ssage.
Just then, Binh sent another ssage.
[Binh: I hope the others will co with us too. I want to tell you sothing over a al ("Pretty Please" Plotter Sticker)]
Sighing, Rayen typed a response.
[I’ll co.]
Rayen might be sowhat dense, but he wasn’t entirely dumb. He was also the one to tell Binh he should apologize. The guy must have co to his senses and decided to have a talk now.
But it would be hard to get Yeo Haru to agree. Judging by that guy’s action, he would probably bounce right away.
So, to convince him, Rayen employed the sa tactic as before. He sent a private ssage to Liam, pestering him to accept Binh’s invite.
After being overwheld by nurous buzzing noise from Rayen’s bombardnt, Liam confird his presence on the group chat.
If Rayen wasn’t wrong, Yeo Haru would also co.
Even though the production crew hadn’t aired their conflicts before, that didn’t an they wouldn’t. If Yeo Haru wouldn’t show up, he would be the only one out of the fra. Adding more clips to that issue might beco more tempting for Plotter to release it.
[Yeo Haru: I’ll co too.]
And so, Rayen confird his thoughts about Yeo Haru. This guy really has experience with these kind of ploys.
’I wonder what kind of life he had before?’
Now that their afternoon al appointnt was set, Rayen and Minho told their current mbers their plans.
Xu Jiji couldn’t even care as he was napping by the corner. Mr. Big News was busy practicing his facial expressions, and Nana only nodded.
"Then, we’ll just bring you snacks," Minho said.
"Okay, thanks," Mr. Big News replied, pausing his practice briefly to turn to them.
When the two made it to the cafeteria, everyone was already there except for the one who invited them over.
Liam and Renjiro was as usual, staring at the air side by side. Yeo Haru waved at them with a smile, pretending as though this gathering had nothing to do with him.
"Hey, brother! How’s your... team?" Yeo Hau asked, trailing off with his last words.
The other two people beside Yeo Haru turned to him, their gazes strange. Rayen blinked in confusion but then realized.
He didn’t have to lower his head to look as he could already see himself with the Eye of the Beholder. But because he had gotten sowhat used to it, he thought everything was normal.
Yet, it wasn’t.
He was still wearing his stupid Cupid Costu, dazzling everyone with his Visual Charm.
"You... look so good, brother," Yeo Haru said.
"....."
Rayen was speechless at first, but after realizing that Yeo Haru had just given him a complint, he enthusiastically took the seat before him.
"Tell more," Rayen said.
"Eh?" Yeo Haru was puzzled by the sudden switch of Rayen’s persona. "What do you an?"
Rayen’s lips twitched.
Does he have to spell it out directly?
Say, ’Complint more! The more detailed, the better.’
But he had no sha to do that! Even with the advise he told Mr. Big News earlier, directly begging for soone to complint him still left him red as tomato.
Sigh.
"Nevermind." Rayen turned his hot face away from their prying gaze.
However, Liam spoke on his behalf. "I think he wanted you to complint him more."
’!!!!!’
Rayen glared at Liam, but it was too late. He had told them already.
"Ah, so that’s it..." Yeo Haru exclaid, giggling before flashing him a double thumbs-up. "Brother, you look so good! So heavenly! What are you wearing? Why do you seem sparkling today?"
With every complint that left Yeo Haru’s mouth, Rayen’s face turned even redder.
"You’re blushing too much, you look so cute. What did you eat today? You don’t seem tired at all."
"Stop!" Rayen yelled.
"Oh, okay..." Yeo Haru said.
Sigh.
’It was a mistake to be here.’
Fanning his steaming face, Rayen refrained himself from checking if those complints were counted to his mission.
To answer Yeo Haru’s question, though. He’s wearing Cupid’s Garnt so that people would fall in love with him. He was sparkling because he’s overflowing with charm. He didn’t eat yet, but he downed a bottled water worth 1000 MC ’cause he’s currently rich.
Just then, the one who requested them to gather here also appeared.
