The pilot quickly typed a few things that opened up the side cara of the jet and showed so footage.
The pilots face was the first to dimorph into paleness as he saw what it was.
"Cal- CALAMITY LEVEL!!!"
The pilot was shocked from the core of his body. Then he quickly moved as he rembered about the people on board the aircraft. Taking the intercom, he bellowed out loud, "EVERYBODY! There’s a Calamity Level monster a few kiloters beside us."
Hearing his words, every bodies faces went pale. It wasn’t a big deal when hearing that a few monsters had suddenly broken in from the forbidden zones outside the kingdoms.
Still it was a terrifying thing even if they knew that there are people prepared who would quickly take care of the problem.
But… a calamity level… It wasn’t an unheard word.
But… It hadn’t been heard since 2000 years.

2000 years since the massive destruction of 3080 caused by just a single monster.
It brought such disaster that the death counts back in the day went to great billion and even then a lot had gone unaccounted for many reasons such as getting squashed, blasted, eaten… such things.
It was none other than William who was the palest among the entire crew. He knew that this was a byproduct of Baphot’s attack on him and the others were just casualties.
Well… William didn’t give much shit about others except for Delmar and Naomi beside him.
If sothing were to happen to them… who would help him through his goal?
How would he beco the most richest and strongest being alive?
Even if their role in the bigger picture might be minuscule.
"Don’t worry about that thing, I am going to get us out of her- what the fuck is that!" The pilot ended in a slow peach as everybody beca even more alert.
Hearing the pilots scared tone through the speakers, William opened the footage as a holographic screen beca visible. The holographic screen not only showed the view outside but it also drew the attention of everyone as they looked at it.
A jagged dark grey monster stood tall at 16 ters. It’s eyes visible to the far flowing people with dark blue light shimring brightly. It’s large mouth open and a ball of energy sparking as it gets ready to bombard anything it finds.
"It’s a calamity level baby monster." One of them spoke out and almost sounded relieved.
"What if it’s a baby! IT’S still Calamity Level." The won next to him said as the man backed down.
"Yea- Yeah… it kinda went out of my head."
William didn’t understand what they ant about being a Baby Calamity when it was that large. But it wasn’t the ti to be curious and ask them when there was a ball of death aid right at them.
Finally seeing the ball of death that might erupt at them anyti, the people beca active.
"NOOO! It’s aiming right for us!"
"NOOO! I still haven’t confessed my love to your mom!"
"I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die." One person said as he cradled himself and rocked slightly, already knowing that he’s death was inevitable.
"FUC*! FUC*! FUC*! Why did it have to target us of all people, are we that unlucky?" One said as he looked at the hologram with veins threatening to pop out of his head.
William smiled slightly as he wanted to say to the man that he was not the unlucky one. The unlucky bastard was sitting in front of him.
In a sudden motion of courage, the pilot took on the intercom again and spoke, "DON’T WORRY! I will take every one to safety and away from that beast."
"For now just buckle your seatbelts, I am going to maneuver the jet out of its path."
Everyone almost felt the relief wash their backs… but not before they felt the brunt of the large beam that the monster blew at the jet.
The beam of energy almost destroyed the entire place, but for now it tore up the upper half, the half where the pilot and majority of the people were station at.
William saw it clearly as the beam of energy couldn’t even be stopped for a mont and evaporated the people next to him in a mont.
But before he could think about what he should do next, William’s belt mysteriously broke off on its own as William without any support almost flew off.
Delmar imdiately took hold of his hand and tried to bring him inside. But the strong airflow from the now crashing jet was making it harder for Delmar, even more so when he felt William’s hands slip out of his hands.
Both William and Delmar tried to hold onto each other’s hands. But couldn’t hold on as the strong airflow took off William.
"BOSSSSS!!!"
Delmar scread as he saw William fall off and then beco a distant view before his own jet flew off towards the opposite direction.

Strong air blew in and took hold of William’s body as he started falling from the sky.
William saw his descend from the sky and knew that if it was not stopped in the next few monts than nothing would stop him from becoming splashed at to be munched on by other smaller monsters.
As William saw with his own eyes of his extrely fast descend… did he fear?
Did he felt helpless?
Was he going to pray to the gods for help?
FUCK NO!
I an respect to the gods that helped him before but no, he was politely not going to ask for their help when everything was still in his hands.
William rembered the spell that he had brought months ago and finally found a perfect mont to use the spell.
William closed his eyes for a mont before opening them as dark red irises with black vertical pupils replaced them and he spoke out.
< Dragon Wings >
The suit gave way from the back as two large red bones covered with stretched skin ca out and fully unfurled showing they were truly the wings of a dragon.
William felt the connection in his back as he stretched the wings straight, flowing down the air even faster than he was before. Every second he felt his speed increase and as he went under, William saw trees large and small.
Then right before he could reach those trees, William used all his strength and tilted the wings up as his descend then took a turn and flew upwards. Once he was up a certain distance, he flapped his wings in a steady motion to just stay afloat.
"Haahh!"
William looked at his red dragon wings and smiled largely, seeing his experint was a success.

It was a spell that he had purchased from t
he shop in his free ti after he leveled up to level THREE.
In his free ti William would browse the store then buy spells and other items that would interest him.
William then turned to reality as he looked down. He was finally able to clearly see the trees and land.
But before William could appreciate them, he heard a strong roar from behind.
"RAAAAAARHHHHH!!!!!"
