Zheng Liang t her gaze and responded with a nod, his words coming out slightly awkwardly, "Yes, I didn't have to work overnight tonight, so I returned."

"You should prepare early tomorrow morning," he said, his words catching her off guard.

Zheng Liang walked towards the bed and took a seat on its edge, his gaze fixed upon her. He explained, "Regarding the work, I need to travel to Xinling City for a few days. And you're coming with ."
Yang Ning's eyes widened in pleasant surprise, a glimr of excitent dancing in her gaze. The thought of leaving the confines of the palace and venturing beyond the capital city brought a surge of joy that she couldn't contain.
