In almost every myth, snakes are associated with immortality.
The enemies that Xue Jing had encountered so far were like cockroaches that couldn't be killed... So even seed to have abilities that felt more impressive than his own "Twin Lifes" and "Shadow Transform", brimming with talent.

The phone barely started buzzing when it was answered at lightning speed.
"Xue, what can I do for you?"

Upon hearing the question, Xue Jing pondered a mont before replying, "I killed him."
Miao Miao sighed, "I see..."
"Feeling a bit sentintal?" Xue Jing asked softly.
After all, An had been part of the sa organization; there might still be so feelings, right?
Miao Miao shook her head, "No... just that soone I used to see often is suddenly gone, and it feels strange."
She jumped from Xue Jing's arms and used her claw to hook the carpet on the floor, revealing it.
A tallic, handle-locked entrance to the basent was exposed.
Xue Jing stepped forward and crouched down, grabbed the handle, unlocked it, and lifted it.
"Clang—"
A dull sound echoed as the basent entrance was opened.
"Go ahead," Xue Jing said softly.
Miao Miao nodded and jumped down.
Xue Jing followed closely behind.

In the brightly lit room, a little girl lay bored on the sofa, intermittently reaching for the chips on the table while watching TV and occasionally grabbing her soda to take a swig, letting out a "ha" of satisfaction.
When Miao Miao and Xue Jing entered, they saw this scene and were montarily stunned.
The little girl, who had heard the sound of the basent entrance opening, thought it was An Luping and didn't pay it any attention, not even bothering to look back.
