Chapter 28: Chapter 28 Inventory Harvest, Inquire About Wang Family Chapter 28: Chapter 28 Inventory Harvest, Inquire About Wang Family As ti flowed on, the book slowly turned to its final page.

With the closing of “Hard Qigong,” Liang Hui’s eyes were alight with fervent combativeness, “Let’s communicate our respective paths through our fists.”

‘Into the dream!’

In an instant, the surrounding environnt began to blur, and then beca clear again, revealing an old house and a slumbering figure within.

The area around the house was overgrown with weeds, seeming to house only a single person.

Liang Hui chose not to enter the body of the figure but instead manifested his true form directly.

A gentle breeze passed by, and a handso young man wearing boxing gloves appeared not far from the house.

In the mont the young man appeared, the sleeping figure in the house suddenly opened their eyes and stood up to look outside.

Their gazes t in midair, without much need for words.

Liang Hui strode forward, quickening his steps until he was running.

In the blink of an eye, he had arrived in front of the figure in the house, his right fist slightly drawn back.

Then.

He threw his punch with a thunderous roar.

A booming sound filled the space, like thunder exploding!

Simultaneously, a dusky fist t the trajectory of the young man’s punch.

Clang!

The collision of flesh actually emitted the sound of tal striking tal.

Liang Hui looked at the figure before him, now entirely dusky in color, and the corners of his mouth slightly curled.

Without hesitation, his free fist launched towards the enemy.

One punch was faster than the last, one heavier, and one more ferocious.

Clang! Clang! Clang!….

Amidst the dense sounds of impact, the dusky figure was forced steadily backward.

Large cracks appeared on the ground where the two stood.

Observing the dusky figure still holding its ground.

The combativeness in Liang Hui’s eyes burned brighter. He extended his arm forward, his fingers and palm shifting rapidly multiple tis.

In that mont, the young man’s fists were like a wolf’s fangs, a bear’s paws, striking the heart of the dusky figure amidst the piercing sound of the wind.

All attempts at counterattack ceased abruptly, and the dark complexion began to fade away, revealing bronze skin.

That was a man with partially graying hair, blood continuously dripping from his mouth as he stared fixedly at the young man retracting his fist.

“Good fist, excellent fist indeed!”

Amidst the hoarse voice, the figure collapsed to the ground with a thunderous fall.

Liang Hui bowed his head, glanced at his fists now revealing stark white bones, his gloves already torn and scattered.

Looking up at the fallen figure, he expressed his admiration, “To staunchly receive my thirteen punches at the sa realm, the path you’ve walked isn’t bad!”

As he murmured, the surrounding scene blurred and shattered.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in the living room, all injuries gone.

Looking at “Hard Qigong” in his hand, Liang Hui murmured to himself:

‘Into the dream!’

This ti, he directly entered the body of a middle-aged man, ticulously sensing the operation of his muscles, blood, skin, and even Inner Qi, combining it with the martial arts tos for summation.

In the proficiency of “Hard Qigong,” he was making rapid progress every minute.

By noon, Liang Hui placed “Hard Qigong” on the ground, feeling the hunger in his belly, and prepared to make lunch.

After preparing so at dishes and eating simply,

he once more plunged into the other two tos, “Six-Star Chain Arrow” and “Fierce Tiger Palm,” attempting to enter the dream repeatedly with these two martial arts.

To grasp their techniques of cultivation, key points, and ways to exert force.

After having completed the “dream-entry” for the three martial arts he had purchased,

Liang Hui briefly rested before beginning the “dream-entry” for his spoils of war: the long saber and the fist wraps.

Through the “dream-entry” of the long saber, as expected, he acquired a skin-refining-level saber technique, which was completely useless to him.

However, when performing “dream-entry” with the fist wraps, he obtained a life-nourishing fist technique called “Pine Crane Fist,” which was of so use to Liang Hui.

By the ti he had clarified all the martial arts he needed to practice, evening had arrived.

The afterglow of the setting sun was slowly fading away.

Liang Hui also made arrangents for his subsequent martial arts training: practicing Fierce Tiger Fist and Pine Crane Fist in the early morning, refining tendons in the afternoon until late at night, and before going to sleep, half an hour of spear techniques and another half hour of archery.

Only after mastering a fist technique thoroughly would he begin practicing Hard Qigong.

The reason for scheduling Hard Qigong last was because it was the hardest to practice, and the two new fist techniques wouldn’t take much ti for soone with his martial arts foundation to master and integrate into his own set of techniques.

After making all the arrangents, Liang Hui simply stopped practicing.

He prepared to go out to buy so tendon-refining-level dicinal supplents and to inquire about the Wang Family’s situation in the city.

After all, the young man he had disabled last night seed to have deep ties with the Wang Family, and he needed to know more detailed intelligence to decide whether he needed to strike first.

Liang Hui, wearing a mask, left his residence and headed straight to the house next door.

Knock! Knock!

“Miss Shu, is your father at ho?” he asked gently.

Footsteps were soon heard within the courtyard.

Creak!

The house door opened slowly from the inside, revealing a pale and fragile woman.

“Tai Yi, my father is still at the clinic and hasn’t returned. Do you need him for sothing?”

“Nothing urgent, I’m just preparing to buy so dicinal herbs.”

“Miss Shu, the evening breeze is cool, you should go back inside. I’ll make a trip to the clinic,” said Liang Hui.

Hearing this, Shu Yu revealed the lunchbox she was holding and spoke softly,

“Let’s go together; I was just about to bring dinner.”

Liang Hui glanced at the empty street and whispered, “You should stay ho with your frail health. I will take the lunchbox to the clinic.”

Shu Yu’s face carried a gentle smile as she slowly shook her head, a hint of stubbornness flickering in the depths of her eyes.

At this mont, Liang Hui also felt sowhat helpless, nodding lightly.

Shu Yu, wrapped in a red fur coat, locked her door upon seeing the young man nod and stepped onto the street.

Walking side by side down the street, they maintained silence between them.

It took about half an hour for the two to reach the clinic run by Uncle Shu.

The clerk at the front desk, upon seeing the woman’s figure, imdiately ran toward the backyard.

Shortly after, an old man with a goatee beard ca running out of the clinic.

“Yu’er, didn’t I tell you to stay at ho? Why did you co over?” the old man asked with a hint of distress in his voice.

“Dad, it’s late, and I’ve brought you so warm food to eat,” said Shu Yu, holding the lunchbox out to the old man.

She also pointed to Liang Hui standing beside her and said, “Dad, Tai Yi escorted here. It was very safe; nothing happened.”

Upon hearing this, the old man, accepting the lunchbox, looked toward Liang Hui with appreciative and kind eyes.

“Tai Yi, thank you for your trouble. Please, co in,” he said, pulling Shu Yu gently.

The young man nodded and followed the old man into the clinic.

In the clinic’s backyard, the three of them sat opposite each other, and Liang Hui was the first to speak, “Uncle Shu, I’ve co to buy so dicinal herbs for my practice. Sorry for the trouble.”

As he spoke, he handed over a list of the nas of the dicinal herbs, of course still adding a few unnecessary herbs to the list to throw off any suspicions.

The old man took the list, glanced at it, and said with a smile, “The clinic has all these herbs. I’ll have the clerk prepare them right away for you.”

He called for the clerk and handed over the list.
