~THIRD PERSON POV~
Ursula was finally going to speak the truth after all this ti.
"Ambrose, I know you’ve heard of Violet’s kindness, but she was more than what people had to say about her. I need you to know that Queen Violet has a heart so pure and real and full that she changed the world for those who crossed her path. She was all the goodness and light and forgiveness the world had to offer in one person. Not just beautiful on the exterior, but of heart, mind and soul. She was gentle and delicate, but strong in ways most could never even imagine." Ursula began.
Rembering Violet hurt her deeply but also filled her heart with love and joy as well as longing.
"The minute Queen Violet was born into this world her fate was decided for her. She was born to a wealthy family that trained her to be the perfect princess. As the first Maiden in generation, she had one purposes. She would be a breeder for one of the vampire princes."

Beta Atlas, my fiancé at the ti, had been holding hostage for days, but finally the day after you arrived, I was granted permission to go to school. Only I didn’t know that in my backpack Beta Atlas had placed another stone. After school we planned a girls party with the whole group, , Rosa, a witch nad Arya, and even Victoria, would all hang at Violet’s after school."
Ursula paused, swallowing hard.
"Only, that didn’t happen, Esrelda ca through the magic portal I helped set up, and she knocked out both and Violet and took us. When I awoke, I was back in the pack house. I searched frantically for her but I couldn’t find her. The day of the massacre I found her. She told what they did to her. By they I an you father, Ambrose, the Alpha King and your uncle Alpha Micheal, as well as Alpha Micheal’s heir, Amos. They had stripped her naked, Ambrose."
Ursula saw Odette shudder hearing the story.
"They stripped her and whipped her. They touched her, Ambrose. They touched every inch of her body. Their fingers inside her. And apparently, she was pregnant, with Odette," She gestured toward Odette who was standing and shaking, her eyes puffy from holding back tears. "Your father touched another woman while married and mated to your mother. He cheated on her, and she knew it, she could sll her on him Ambrose, and you know what, your mother didn’t hate Violet, instead she plotted with to free her."
Ambrose looked disgusted and appalled. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. But he rembered sothing, he rembered the pleas and cries of a woman coming from his Uncle Micheal’s room before the gala. He saw his father ca out of his uncle’s room, and he did sll different when he walked past Ambrose unknowingly. He rembered his uncle announced he’d marry the vampire princess, and how scared she looked next to him, how uncomfortable and shad.
"But the vampires ca before we could execute our plan to rescue Violet. Your uncle was responsible for plotting to kidnap a royal princess, the Maiden, and future Queen of Vampires. That was a huge threat and grounds for war. They broke the treaty and stole and assaulted soone way too important for them to let go, the disrespect was too much. They rightfully waged war against us. But at the end, when Ash reached Violet, she put an end to the blood bath, she convinced him to let us flee, when he was determined to end every life there because they took the love of his life. It was Violet who instantly forgave the shifters and demanded we be released. It is because of Violet that you stand on that throne with that crown and why I stand before you now alive to tell the story." Ursula let her heavy words hang over their heads.
"The council was told so of it, that’s why they did not wage war against the vampires for killing the Alpha King and Queen. Because your uncle violated the treaty. Their hands were tied."
Silence stilled in the room; the air beca thick and stale. Ambrose was struggling to process everything she just told him.
Odette’s heart ached hearing the full story, knowing exactly how bad her uncles were to her mother. How much pain and suffering her poor mother went through.
His father, the man he idolized. He cheated on his mother. He couldn’t believe the man who talked so much about loyalty, assaulted another woman.
His mother died because of his father’s sticky fingers and his uncle delusions. His pack and so many innocent lives destroyed that night because of them.
His mind was in chaos.
His wolf was just as shocked and disgusted. Onyx was whimpering from the idea of his mate being subjected to such atrocities before she even left the womb.
"And then here you go, making the exact sa mistakes they did. Kidnapping the vampire princess, and heir to their throne. You pissed off the most dangerous vampire to ever live. And Goddess help us all when it cos to their wrath. Ambrose, do you understand now? You dood your pack just like your uncle did. Like your father did." Ursula shouted at him.
Before he could defend himself and explain things were different for them Odette did.
"You’re wrong about one thing." Odette spoke with confidence even though her face looked burdened.
"Alpha Micheal wasn’t my mother’s mate. But Ambrose is mine."
