Chen Xixi walked to Xu Mu’s side and leaned down slightly, "What’s wrong with you?"
Xu Mu raised his head and saw who it was, frowning as he spoke, "It’s nothing, I was too busy looking for scenic spots to check-in and didn’t watch my step on the stairs, I accidentally twisted my ankle."
As he said this, he moved his ankle and winced from the sharp pain.
Chen Xixi expressed her concern, "How about we contact the program crew to take you to the hospital to have a look?"
Xu Mu casually said, "No need, it’s not that serious."
Chen Xixi straightened up, a gentle smile playing in her almond eyes, "So dedicated; your family would be worried if they knew."
Xu Mu’s eyes darkened at so word in that sentence, and he said coldly, "This is my own business, no need for your concern!"
Chen Xixi laughed lightly, "Alright then, I was just being nosy. I’ll be going now."
When Xu Mu saw she was really about to leave, he suddenly called out, "Wait!"
He did not want to just sit here in the sun.
Chen Xixi turned her head, her mouth still smiling just right, innocent and kind, "What’s up?"
"Could you... help find a stick?"

If it were soone else, Chen Xixi would not have indulged them after hearing the slightly unpleasant tone from Xu Mu, nor would she have left them with a friendly face.
But Xu Mu was a little different. If Xu Mu was indeed from the Xu family of Haisong Group, then she might have a great use for staying in his good graces. Hence, she agreed very quickly and also rapidly picked up a stick from the nearby woods.

Chen Xixi’s tone and expression were as sincere as can be. It was hard for Xu Mu not to believe her, and after all, his brother and Zhou Jinyuan were good friends, and their family had deep ties with the Zhou family. It made sense for Zhou Jinyuan to say such a thing.
Moreover, Chen Xixi had no reason to lie to him about this.
Xu Mu, leaning on the stick, hobbled forward, "Did he say anything else?"

She withdrew her gaze, looked at Xu Mu, and said with a tender smile, "I’ve been following you the whole ti, your partner might get jealous, so I just contacted the staff for you. You should sit here and rest for a while."
