“Guidance of destiny?”
Chen Lun heard the familiar phrase again.
Although he had always used this phrase to hoodwink players, he knew very well that in this world with real gods, the guidance of destiny was no joke, but a true existence… just like the warning Alec once gave him, which ca from a revelation in the Dream Realm.

Philip nodded, his expression turning serious.

Philip chuckled lightly and shook his head.
“God of Destiny… We don’t call Him that, just as the real gods of the other nine paths are given honorary titles by the creatures of the present world, the Path of Destiny is no different, His na is ‘Ring Duke’!”
Chen Lun held his breath, carefully listening to the secret information Philip was revealing.
Philip took another sip of red wine and continued,
“Besides this, there are titles such as Lord of Destiny, Supre Fortune, and Origin of Beginnings and Ends… all these can refer to Him, and across the past several epochs, Ring Duke has been existent in so corner of the world unseen and unfathomable, only beings of angels and above could glimpse the traces of His intervention in historical paradigms and pivotal monts.”

Just hearing this secretive title made Chen Lun feel a strong sense of fate washing over him, as if a vast fog from a distant place erged to engulf him.

‘The establishnt of the Tresor Empire was due to Ring Duke’s behind-the-scenes influence? Why would He do this? What about the Sun God, Liefather, whom the Tresor Royal Family worships? What was His stance? Could it be that these two deities had reached so sort of consensus or agreent?’
He was shocked by this, and then, mocking himself, he shook his head.
These matters were too far removed from himself, and speculation now was useless and only a source of trouble.
“But over four thousand years have passed since the beginning of The Fifth Era, and since then, Ring Duke has not responded to believers, nor has any divine act been seen… as if He had never appeared at all, which indirectly leads to fewer people who know of His existence, and the records about Him are gradually disappearing.”
Philip lanted.
“But I know, He must still be in so corner of the world, watching the years go by, witnessing the changing of eras, occasionally guiding those key individuals who can influence the world’s trajectory…”
He raised his head and looked at Chen Lun, smiling as he said,

After listening to Philip’s brief overview of the God of Destiny, Chen Lun roughly understood the supre being that lay at the end of his own path.
But he did not agree with Philip’s last remark.
Chen Lun was very self-aware, never considering himself a Chosen One, a Savior, or a “key individual” who could influence the world’s destiny.
