The mont the large inmate died, the previously noisy prison fell silent. However, the next second, an even louder commotion erupted.
This ti, the prisoners not only whistled and cheered but also hurled a barrage of insults at Gensou.
Unwilling to tolerate their behavior, Gensou drew his kunai.
Anyone who insulted him was imdiately killed with a barrage of kunai.
Soon, the prison was awash with blood.
After more than half of the prisoners were dead, the prison finally fell silent.
The remaining inmates, previously arrogant and terrifying, now cowered in their cells, trembling and afraid to even glance outside.
They had thought their savior had co to break them out of prison.
But it turned out to be a more terrifying executioner than the wardens.
In a short ti, Gensou had killed more prisoners than had died in the prison in over a decade. How could they not be terrified?
At that mont, Gensou, the only one still standing in the prison, surveyed the scene with a blank expression. Seeing no one else daring to court death, he proceeded deeper into the
prison.
Given Konoha's ways, those imprisoned here were not necessarily the worst of the worst, but they had definitely committed nurous cris. After being locked up in such a dark environnt for so long, many of their minds had beco twisted and extre.
For such people, even though the prison was Konoha's and the prisoners hated Konoha, Gensou's stance in his first and second lives was the sa.
Who said breaking into a prison ant freeing the prisoners inside?
Even in ancient tis, there were certain cris for which pardons were not given.
To Gensou, these people staying in prison was the best outco for them.
After eliminating the noise, Gensou quickly disard the prison's defenses and found Mizuki's cell.
"Mizuki," Gensou called out to the dark cell.
"Who are you?" A man erged from the darkness, the first antagonist of the Hokage series, Mizuki.
Unlike his gentle deanor as a ninja school teacher, Mizuki had now transford into a muscle-bound brute.
Those unfamiliar with him would barely recognize him at first glance.
Mizuki looked at Gensou with confusion.
After spending so ti in prison and a chance encounter with Orochimaru, who left a curse mark on his arm, Mizuki had grown considerably stronger. Recently, he had even persuaded the Wind and Thunder Gods to join him in a breakout plan.
Unexpectedly, soone had co to break him out today.
"Could it be soone sent by Orochimaru-sama?" Mizuki wondered, excited by the powerful curse mark within him.
Just as he was about to ask more questions, Gensou, having assessed him, nodded. "Yes, it's you."
"You-"
Mizuki sensed sothing was wrong.
Just as his expression changed and he prepared to act, an overwhelming force suddenly bore down on him.
With a loud crash, Mizuki was hurled back, embedding deeply into the prison wall, unable to
move.
Ding!
Side Mission: The True Graduation Test of Uzumaki Naruto (Completed)
The host, alongside Uzumaki Naruto, defeated Mizuki, who harbored malice towards Konoha and coveted the Sealed Book. The Third Hokage greatly appreciates your actions. Mission Reward: Ten seconds to read the Sealed Book
Shifting his gaze from Mizuki, Gensou did not imdiately accept the reward. If he had only ten seconds to read the Sealed Book as described, the current environnt was not suitable for reading.
With the mission completed and nothing more to do, Gensou turned to leave.
At that mont, a coarse voice suddenly called out, "You've taken down Mizuki. How will we eat now?"
Gensou turned to see two extrely large n in a cell looking at him innocently.
"Eat? What do you an?" he asked, stopping out of curiosity.
The two large n pointed to Mizuki and said, "Mizuki said he would take us to find soone who would give us lots of food. Now he can't go. How will we eat?"
These were the simple-minded Raijin and Fujin.
"If you stay in prison, you'll have food," Gensou replied casually, before leaving without further concern for the two gluttons.
Watching Gensou leave, Fujin scratched his head and said, "He makes a good point."
Thunder God agreed, "Then let's stay in prison and wait for food."
The brothers quickly abandoned their escape plan and settled back in the prison, waiting for
their next al.
Outside Konoha Prison.
Finding a secluded spot, Gensou accepted the side mission reward.
The next second, a large scroll appeared before him.
"It's identical to the one in the Hokage building's secret room."
With one glance, Gensou confird that the Sealed Book before him was identical to the one
in the secret room, down to the patterns on the scroll.
"Is it a copy, or is it the original?"
With ti limited, Gensou quickly opened the Scroll of Seals, ignoring other forbidden techniques, and imdiately focused on the Reanimation Jutsu and the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, scanning the contents as quickly as possible.
At the sa ti.
In the Hokage building's secret room.
The door, now newly sealed, was guarded by significantly more personnel.
Yet, they couldn't have imagined that the Scroll of Seals, sitting securely on the stone
platform, would suddenly vanish.
The seals, which had just thwarted an intruder, showed no signs of activation.
As if everything that happened was an illusion.
Ten seconds later.
The Scroll of Seals reappeared on the stone platform, just as it had been.
anwhile, outside Konoha Prison.
After ten seconds, Gensou tried to keep the Scroll of Seals in his hands to continue reading, but to his surprise, it turned from solid to intangible and vanished in an instant.
When it said ten seconds, it ant ten seconds.
"Interesting."
Seeing his empty hands, Gensou had witnessed another ability of the system firsthand.
Fortunately, he had seen what he needed to see.
With his excellent mory, he had committed the contents of the Reanimation Jutsu and the
Dead Demon Consuming Seal to mory.
This trip to Konoha was a complete success.
Now, he would begin his plan to restore his soul.
Once fully restored, it would be ti to resu the path he had started long ago with the
Kekkai Genkais.
