Upon returning to the real world, Obito frantically fled.

During his escape, he intended to call out to Black Zetsu, generously planning to bring him into the Kamui dinsion. However, he soon realized that Black Zetsu had vanished without a trace.

"That guy…"

Obito muttered, ready to complain, but his expression suddenly changed.

He turned his head, only to see Gensou closing in.

"Persistent ghost!"

Obito cursed under his breath and increased his speed.

No matter how much chakra he burned or how many thods he employed, he could not shake off Gensou's relentless pursuit.

A kunai, gleaming with a sharp edge, tore through the air with a deafening sonic boom, flying straight at Obito's chest.

Obito ignored it, allowing the kunai to pass through his intangible form like air. He twisted his body, and the power of Kamui erupted from his right eye, distorting space intensely.

One after another, massive shuriken erged from the Kamui dinsion, their edges imbued with enough force to slice through tailed beasts. They hurtled toward Gensou, who was a short distance away.

After unleashing the attack, Obito, aware it could only buy him so ti, wasted no mont. He activated Kamui again, and his figure twisted and spiraled into the Kamui dinsion.

As the solitary figure in the otherworldly space, Obito sighed in relief.

For now, he was safe.

"Next ti, I will definitely…"

Glancing at the vast emptiness surrounding him, Obito muttered with bitterness. But before he could finish his vow, a familiar spatial distortion materialized behind him.

Obito froze mid-sentence, snapping his head around in shock.

"How is this possible?!"

"Nothing is impossible."

A hand erged from the warped space, accompanied by a calm voice echoing in the Kamui dinsion.

Before Obito could react, the figure he feared most forced his way in.

The spatial distortion subsided.

Within the boundless Kamui dinsion, the two stood in silent confrontation.

Obito was too shaken to speak, while Gensou, stepping into this space for the first ti, cast a glance at his opponent—now like a fish on a chopping board—before curiously surveying the dinsion.

Gensou's Mangekyō Sharingan, spinning rapidly in his left eye socket, gradually slowed down.

Monts earlier, when he saw Obito retreating into the Kamui dinsion and effortlessly deflecting the incoming shuriken, Gensou had activated Kamui himself, creating a portal large enough for him to step through.

With that, Gensou arrived in the Kamui dinsion, nullifying Obito's greatest survival tactic.

"You…"

Obito, snapping out of his panic, was about to ask sothing but noticed the change in Gensou's left eye.

"The Mangekyō Sharingan?! This feeling… and the connection—it's Kakashi's eye!"

Obito imdiately recognized it, and his right eye's pupil contracted in disbelief.

Kakashi.

The past few days had seen an overwhelming cascade of events in the ninja world. Despite the intelligence network of the White Zetsu, Obito's attention had been drawn to the capture of the One-Tail and Eight-Tails, the destruction of Mount Myōboku, and Naruto's confird death.

As for Gensou briefly visiting Konoha and taking Kakashi's Sharingan, the village's efforts to suppress the news had kept Obito in the dark.

Without ti to process the sentint of seeing the last vestige of his forr self fall into Gensou's hands, Obito glared at him with resentnt and asked:

"You… how do you know who I am?"

The entire ninja world believed him dead, with his na engraved on Konoha's morial stone.

His secret should have remained buried.

Yet, this relic from the Warring States period—a man likely unfamiliar with the Battle of Kannabi Bridge—had not only recognized him but had deliberately targeted Kakashi's Sharingan.

It didn't make sense!

Faced with Obito's frustrated inquiry, Gensou withdrew his gaze and replied indifferently:

"As long as you're not Madara, your identity is irrelevant to ."

"Now, tell where the Jinchūriki of the Two-Tails is."

Gensou had searched the Kamui dinsion but found no sign of the Two-Tails' Jinchūriki.

It appeared Obito had lied about bringing her here.

Obito offered no response.

Refusing to give up until the end, he leaped back as his right eye once again flared with Kamui's spatial power.

Before he could transfer back to the real world, Gensou shook his head and instantly appeared behind him, seizing Obito's neck with a single hand.

The spatial distortion in Obito's right eye dissipated.

Even then, he didn't surrender.

Mokuton: Cutting Technique!

Sharp wooden spikes sprouted from Obito's back, aiming to pierce Gensou and grow uncontrollably within his body.

But the next mont—

Clang, clang, clang!

The sound of tal colliding echoed as the wooden spikes failed to penetrate Gensou's defenses.

Compared to the original user, Hashirama, Obito's Mokuton was significantly weaker.

Ignoring the spikes, Gensou lifted Obito effortlessly with one hand and placed the other on his forehead, murmuring:

"If you won't speak, I'll ask for myself."

Human Path's Soul Extraction!

For soone like Obito, laden with secrets and the legacy of Madara, re ocular techniques couldn't bypass the ntal barriers guarding his mories.

But the Rinnegan was different.

Using its power, Gensou forcefully read through Obito's mories, bypassing his ntal defenses.

Before he could uncover what he sought, however—

Obito's body suddenly ignited.

"Suicide?"

No.

Gensou's gaze shifted to Obito's left eye, concealed behind his orange mask until now.

It was Izanagi.

Obito's sole, desperate option.

Sure enough, monts later, Obito's remains disappeared from the Kamui dinsion, reappearing intact a short distance away.

Without hesitation, Obito activated Kamui and fled the dinsion.

"Futile struggle," Gensou muttered.

Unlike Danzo, who had an arm full of Sharingan, Obito had only implanted a single three-tomoe Sharingan in his left eye.

Izanagi would only give him one chance.

Gensou's Mangekyō Sharingan spun once more.

A swirling spatial portal appeared before him.

With a single step, he returned to the real world.

Ahead, Obito was still running.

As the wind behind him grew stronger, Obito, whose mask had shattered at so point, let out a despairing laugh. Reaching out as if to grasp soone, he murmured:

"Rin… I'm sorry. I can't et you in the new world."
