The intense water jet pierced through the molten river with ease, hurtling straight toward Gensou.
Activating his Rinnegan, Gensou spread his hands and invoked Fūinjutsu: Kyūin.
A transparent barrier materialized before him, absorbing the incoming high-pressure water and converting it into senjutsu chakra, which flowed into his body.
As Gensou basked in the surge of energy, a massive shadow suddenly lood beside him.
Startled, Gensou realized he had lost sight of the Great Toad Sage due to the obstructing water column.
He turned his head to see the sage, still steaming from the lava, charging at him with an unyielding expression.
"This old beast's magic resistance is even higher than I expected!" he muttered in astonishnt.
Before he could mount a defense, the Great Toad Sage's Kawazu Kumite struck him squarely, sending him hurtling like a cannonball.
Gensou crashed into Mount Myōboku's massive terrain, creating a deep crater. As he bounced off like a skipping stone, he twisted his body and forcefully grounded himself, sliding nearly fifty ters before coming to a halt.
Before he could catch his breath, the Great Toad Sage leaped across the battlefield in a single bound, descending upon him like a falling mountain.
Boom!
The sheer force of the sage's descent caused the ground within fifty ters to sink slightly before it even landed.
Simultaneously, an invisible force seed to bind Gensou, restricting his movents.
"Shinra Tensei!"
With a burst of repulsive energy, Gensou propelled himself away just as the Great Toad Sage's massive body crashed into the ground.
Dust clouds surged into the sky, accompanied by a violent windstorm that enveloped the battlefield.
Rising to his feet, Gensou ignored the chaos around him. His Rinnegan locked onto the massive chakra entity before him.
Likewise, the Great Toad Sage observed Gensou's every move.
Amid the swirling dust and winds, the battlefield fell silent as the two adversaries stared each other down.
