“Well, it was the afternoon, right? A few of us were having a picnic in the woods and had just finished eating. We were packing up to leave when we heard that girl, Anya, crying for help. So we went to see what was happening, and we saw Litte stripping her clothes off.”

In another room, one of Tyril’s lackeys was recounting his version of the story.

“Tsk, tsk, you wouldn’t believe it. That girl, Anya, right? She usually keeps such a low profile, but man, her figure is sothing else...”

“Stick to the facts!” A disciplinary committee mber slamd his hand on the table. “This isn’t the ti for inappropriate comnts. Or do you think mocking the victim is funny?”

“Cough, sorry. Anyway, that’s what happened. I’m pretty sure—no, I’m absolutely certain—that Litte was lusting after Anya.”

“Alright, that’s enough for now. You’re free to go, but we may summon you again as a witness, so stay available.”

“Ah, understood, understood.” The lackey nodded, politely said goodbye, and left the Student Council building.

anwhile, in the room where Litte was being questioned, the atmosphere was entirely different.

“Litte, regarding the accusation of you assaulting a female classmate, we’ll be conducting an investigation. We hope you’ll provide an honest account.”

“Alright.” Litte nodded and recounted everything that had happened after Anya approached her.

“That’s how it went. She undressed in front of , and then, conveniently, others showed up right after. Doesn’t that seem suspicious?”

The disciplinary committee mber furrowed his brow and recorded Litte’s statent.

“If that’s your full account, I’ll docunt it as such.” He closed his notebook. “This is a serious matter, especially for you as the suspect. You may face suspension or even expulsion.”

“If there’s anything you’re withholding, the punishnt will only be harsher. Are you certain everything you’ve said is truthful?”

“Yes, I guarantee it.” Litte’s voice was firm.

“Alright, I understand.” The committee mber stood up.

“However, as the suspect, you’ll need to remain in the Student Council building for the ti being. We’ll prepare an absence note for your classes and inform your instructors.” With that, he left the room and closed the door.

Hearing the door shut, Litte lowered her head, awaiting the outco.

Upstairs, Orson was working in the Student Council office when he heard the commotion from downstairs. He couldn’t help but comnt, “It’s only been a few days since the sester started, and the disciplinary committee is already making arrests.”

“Sothing serious must have happened,” Olivia replied with a smile. “Executive Director Manuel seems very dedicated to his role this term. He’s been cracking down on misconduct.”

“Well, it’s understandable, considering there was already a disciplinary violation before the Student Council was even elected.”

Just as Orson was about to go downstairs to see what was happening, the office door opened, and Manuel walked in.

Seeing Manuel’s serious expression, Orson asked, “Executive Director Manuel, what’s going on downstairs? Who’s in trouble?”

“I was just about to report to you,” Manuel said, his face still grave.

Orson realized from his deanor that this wasn’t a trivial matter.

“President Orson, your younger brother, Litte from Class 1-1, is under suspicion of assaulting a female classmate and is currently being interrogated.”

“What?”

Both Orson and Olivia stared at Manuel in disbelief.

“Executive Director Manuel, are you sure? Are you certain it’s Litte and not soone with the sa na?” Orson asked in shock.

“Yes, there’s only one Litte in Class 1-1, and that’s your younger brother.”

“No way. Litte would never do sothing like that. He must have been frad!” Orson said, preparing to head downstairs to see Litte.

“President Orson.” As Orson passed by, Manuel grabbed his arm.

“Do you know why I ca to report this to you? I want you to stay out of it.” Manuel moved to block the doorway, looking at Orson. “This matter should be handled by the disciplinary committee. As Student Council President, you can intervene, but have you considered the consequences of doing so?”

“...” Orson was silent for a mont before pushing past Manuel. “I understand, but I’m just going to see Litte. That’s all.”

Manuel couldn’t stop Orson, who was determined to leave. Watching him walk away, Manuel sighed.

As Olivia passed by, she asked, “Executive Director Manuel, could you tell more about the specifics of this case?”

“My team is still gathering information. Right now, it’s all one-sided accounts, so it’s hard to judge. Once I’ve compiled everything, I’ll inform both the President and Vice President.”

“Thank you.” Olivia nodded. “Please ensure this case is handled fairly. Don’t rush to a verdict.”

“I understand.”

Manuel watched Olivia follow Orson downstairs, sighed again, and then pulled a slip of paper from his pocket.

This was what Orson slipped into his pocket when he pushed him earlier.

Downstairs, Orson arrived just as Litte’s interrogation had ended. The disciplinary committee mber had just exited the room when he saw Orson rushing down the stairs.

“Good afternoon, President...” The committee mber greeted Orson with a salute.

“Mm.” Orson nodded. “Is Litte in this room?”

“Yes, but...”

“But what?”

“President, given your position, entering that room might raise questions.”

“I know, but he’s my brother. Whether he’s guilty or not, as his brother, I have to check on him, don’t I?”

“I understand your concern.” The committee mber nodded. “But please be mindful of boundaries.”

“That’s not for you to teach .” Orson said this as he pushed the door open and walked in.

Litte had been preparing herself for a long wait, but to her surprise, the door opened again so soon.

Looking up, she saw Orson at the doorway. She opened her mouth to speak but didn’t know what to say.

“Orson...”

“Mm.” Orson nodded, stepped into the room, closed the door, and sat beside Litte. “Tell what happened.”

“Alright...” Litte recounted everything she had told the disciplinary committee.

“This is clearly a setup!” Orson said angrily after hearing the story. “How can they just believe one side and lock you up like this?”

Though he said this, Orson understood the disciplinary committee’s protocol. To prevent suspects from committing further offenses, they often detained them as a precaution.

But Litte was completely innocent!
