“Alright, Litte, this is far enough,” Olivia said after they had walked so distance from the dormitory.
“Mm.” Litte nodded and stopped walking.
“Senior Olivia.” Litte turned to Olivia.
“What is it?” Olivia had just taken a few steps when she heard Litte call her and turned back.
“Orson doesn’t want to be with you. You should give up on your idea,” Litte said bluntly.
“Oh?” Olivia’s interest was piqued. “How do you know Orson doesn’t want to be with ?”
“Did he tell you that himself? Or are you lying to , trying to get to leave Orson so you can have him all to yourself?” Olivia said with a smile.
She had already noticed sothing strange about Litte. Despite being Orson’s “brother,” Litte’s possessiveness over him seed to cross certain boundaries.
“...” Litte’s face turned red, and she lowered her head.
Olivia took note of everything and simply smiled. “Litte, I know Orson has been the kindest to you since you joined the family, and he’s the person you trust the most. But eventually, he has to start his own family.”
“As his younger brother, shouldn’t you be the one to wish him well?” Olivia said, then turned and walked away.
What a joke. Litte is a boy, and Orson only sees him as a younger brother. Even if the two live under the sa roof, with Litte’s small fra, could he possibly overpower Orson and force himself on him?
Even if he sohow did manage to force himself on Orson, it would only leave Orson traumatized, making it easier for to take advantage of the situation and capture Orson’s heart.
—
Litte stood there, replaying Olivia’s words in her mind, clenching her fists.
She’s right. I’m just Orson’s brother. He only sees as a sibling...
What I should do is wish him well...
That’s what I should do, right?
But for so reason, there was a lingering sense of dissatisfaction in her heart.
No, even if it ans making Orson fall for the version of herself disguised as a boy, she has to take the initiative and make her move. Otherwise, if Orson truly ends up being taken by Olivia, just thinking about that vixen’s smug smile fills Litte with anger.

anwhile, when Olivia returned to her dormitory, Lianca didn’t co out to greet her as usual.
Curious, Olivia quietly opened Lianca’s door.
Inside, Lianca was sitting at her desk, flipping through a book. Seeing this, Olivia nodded in satisfaction and returned to her room to rest.
Later that night, when Olivia woke up, she noticed that the light in Lianca’s room was still on.
Entering the room again, she saw that Lianca was still sitting at her desk, reading, her posture almost unchanged from earlier in the day.
Concerned, Olivia walked into the room.
She couldn’t understand what had gotten into her sister, or what had driven her to stay up so late reading.
“Lianca, Lianca?” Olivia gently patted her sister’s shoulder, speaking softly. “Lianca, it’s late. You should go to bed.”
“Sister, just a little longer. Let finish this Chapter...” Lianca replied absentmindedly.
“No!” Olivia firmly placed her hand on Lianca’s book and closed it.
“When I ca ho this afternoon, you were already reading. Now it’s the middle of the night, and you’re still at it. Don’t you care about your health?!”
“But if I don’t work hard, I won’t catch up to him!” Lianca said anxiously, her eyes welling up with tears.
“What do you an?” Olivia looked at her, puzzled.
“I’m afraid I’ll never catch up to Orson!” Lianca’s emotions broke, and she cried out. “I’ve been trying so hard, but no matter what I do, the teachers and classmates always say I’m not as good as Orson. Am I really that useless?!”
Hearing this, Olivia’s expression softened with pity.
Her sister had placed too much importance on this, turning Orson into a ntal block that haunted her.
With that in mind, Olivia decided to comfort her sister.
“Lianca, tell , why are you trying to catch up to Orson?”
“Eh?! Of course, it’s because... because...” Lianca’s words faltered, and her mind froze.
Because of what?
Lost in thought, Lianca began to recall.
When she was younger and knew nothing about the world, she had been betrothed to Orson in a childhood engagent. As she grew up, the people around her constantly ntioned Orson whenever they talked about her.
“Did you hear? Lianca’s fiancé is that Orson from the Stranick family. He’s already a Tier 4 warrior and mage at such a young age—a dual-discipline prodigy!”
“Wow, really? Lianca’s so lucky to be engaged to soone like that. Her future will surely be bright.”
“You know, with her family being so wealthy, but Lianca being the second daughter, her chances of inheriting a title are slim. Marrying soone like Orson is definitely a step up.”
“Lianca is talented too, but compared to Orson, she still seems to fall short.”
Over ti, Lianca’s feelings toward Orson shifted from indifference toward a fiancé she had never t to resentnt.
It’s all your fault for being so exceptional. Everyone compares to you and thinks I’m not good enough for you.
But do you think I even want to be with you?
From then on, Lianca’s self-esteem beca fragile and sensitive.
The mont soone said she wasn’t as good as soone else, she would fly into a rage.
Only in front of her parents and sister would Lianca slightly rein in this temper.
At that mont, Olivia spoke softly, “It’s because he’s your fiancé, isn’t it?”
“But it doesn’t matter anymore. He’s no longer your fiancé. Once the news spreads, no one will compare you to him anymore.”
Olivia pulled Lianca into a hug and gently stroked her hair.
“Lianca, I know you’ve been under a lot of pressure lately. I’m sorry I didn’t notice sooner.”
“It’s okay, Lianca. No one can catch up to Orson—not even . You don’t need to feel inferior for not being able to surpass him.”
“You’re already better than most people.”
Leaning into Olivia’s embrace, Lianca began to sob.
“Sister... I...”
“It’s alright. I know it’s been hard for you, Lianca. You’ve always been such a hardworking and ambitious child. But sotis, you don’t have to reach the summit to see a beautiful view. If climbing to the top tires you out, take a mont to look back from halfway up. The scenery there can be just as lovely.”
“Sister...” Unable to hold it in any longer, Lianca burst into tears.
