Ten minutes later, the recording finished playing, and the audience had seen the entire sequence of events.

“After watching this, I believe everyone here has ford their own judgnt,” Headmaster Luca said, smiling as he looked at the first-year students in the audience.

“If it were you, how would you react if your family were insulted like this?” Luca continued. “While we don’t condone violence in the academy, we also don’t want to raise students who lack a sense of responsibility.”

Luca’s words stirred the audience, and many students began pointing at Tyril and shouting insults.

“Additionally, I’ve received an anonymous report from other students in Class 1,” Lianca said, stepping forward. “They reported that before the class eting even started, when Litte first entered the classroom, Tyril and his group surrounded him. At the ti, Teacher Hecatia intervened and sent them away. If you don’t believe , you can ask Teacher Hecatia to verify this.”

“Do you have anything to say for yourself, Tyril?” Luca asked, his smile fading as he turned to the boy. “Let’s set aside your earlier false accusations for now. Just based on the footage, surrounding Litte with your group—is this what you call ‘greeting’ him?”

“If that’s the case, then I must say, your upbringing is quite remarkable.” Luca snorted coldly.

“No... Headmaster, please listen to . This footage has definitely been tampered with! That’s not how it actually happened...” Tyril stamred, trying desperately to defend himself as the situation turned against him.

“Enough!” Luca shouted, silencing Tyril. “You’ve repeatedly slandered both Orson and Litte. Are they your mortal enemies?!”

“You think the evidence is insufficient? Do I need to summon Teacher Hecatia to testify?!”

Tyril opened his mouth, as if to argue further, but no words ca out.

“You want to follow the academy’s rules? Fine.” Luca’s voice was sharp as he recited the regulations from mory. “Anyone who maliciously damages the reputation of another student will be placed on probation. Repeat offenders will be expelled!”

“As for Orson and Litte, their actions fall under legitimate self-defense and do not violate academy regulations.”

With that, Luca had Tyril and his group pulled out of the auditorium, each of them receiving disciplinary actions before being expelled from the hall.

“Apologies for the brief interruption earlier,” Orson said with a smile, addressing the audience. “As you can see, disputes rooted in personal grievances can sotis escalate to the academy level. During my term as Student Council President, I will strengthen campus discipline and crush any form of malice before it can take root!”

The next afternoon, Orson sat in a café.

Although there had been a minor hiccup during the Student Council election the previous night, Orson had ultimately been elected without issue.

He had spent the morning holding a eting with the newly appointed Student Council mbers, and only now did he finally have so free ti.

He sipped his coffee and gazed out the window.

A few minutes later, hurried footsteps approached, and Lianca sat down across from him.

“Senior Orson, why did you ask to co here?” Lianca asked, her tone still carrying a hint of coldness.

Although she had helped Orson the previous night, it was only because she couldn’t stand Tyril’s despicable behavior.

“Thank you for last night,” Orson said.

“You don’t need to thank . Thank justice. If you had done anything truly inappropriate, I wouldn’t have omitted anything.”

“But you still helped a lot. Otherwise, the situation would’ve dragged on for much longer.” Orson smiled.

“So, is that why you called here?” Lianca said, preparing to leave after barely sitting down. “If that’s all, I’ll take my leave.”

“Wait.” Orson stopped her.

“Hmm?” Lianca looked at him curiously, wondering what else he wanted to say.

“You don’t like , do you, Lianca?”

“...” Lianca fell silent at Orson’s words.

“I can tell, at the very least, you don’t like ,” Orson said with a kind smile. “Being engaged to soone you barely know—it’s not sothing soone as proud as you would be happy about.”

“What’s the point of saying this? It’s a matter between our families’ heads...” Lianca said, taking a sip of her coffee and looking away.

“If you’re unwilling, I can break off the engagent,” Orson said. “If you agree, I’ll do my best to convince both our fathers to annul the marriage. Consider it my way of thanking you for your help last night.”

Orson had long noticed that Lianca didn’t like him. Given that she and Litte were in the sa class—and in the original story, she had beco one of Litte’s harem mbers—he figured it was best to pair the two of them together. That way, Litte wouldn’t cling to him all the ti.

The first step was to break off his engagent with Lianca.

Honestly, Orson and Lianca had barely interacted, let alone developed any feelings for each other.

Binding their fates together with a re piece of paper seed utterly ridiculous.

“So, what do you say, Lianca? Do you agree?”

“Hmm...” Lianca thought for a mont before nodding.

To be honest, she had always been burdened by the title of Orson’s fiancée. Everyone around her held her to Orson’s standards.

To her, Orson was like the “perfect child” that every parent compared their own kids to.

No matter how hard she tried, she could never asure up.

Breaking off the engagent would be a relief for her.

“If you’re serious about convincing my father, then I agree to annul the engagent.”

“Alright.” Orson nodded, letting out a sigh of relief.

Finally, he could rid himself of this engagent and enjoy his single life.

However, at that mont, a familiar voice interrupted.

“No.”

Both Orson and Lianca turned to see Olivia standing beside their table.

Olivia sat down next to Lianca and looked at Orson with a serious expression.

“No, this engagent isn’t just so promise made between our fathers. It’s also an alliance between the Essenberg and Stranick families. It cannot be annulled so easily.”

Now it was Orson’s turn to be dumbfounded.

Olivia, didn’t you tell before the sester started that I didn’t have to tolerate Lianca? Why are you suddenly changing your mind now?

“Lianca,” Olivia said, turning to her sister, her eyes welling up with tears. “I know you’ve always been an independent and free-spirited girl, and this engagent has burdened you for far too long...”

“Today, I’m certain—you truly despise this engagent.”

“Olivia...” Lianca looked flustered, unsure of how to respond.

“Lianca, I haven’t done much for you as your older sister. But at the very least, this ti, please let help you.” Olivia took Lianca’s hand in hers.

“Let bear the burden of this engagent!”
