Litte, left alone in the room, was now at a loss.
Looking at the five sets of clothes on the bed, she didn’t know which one to wear.
She glanced at a light, airy princess dress. It had countless ties, looking very difficult to put on, so she imdiately dismissed it.
Ultimately, Litte chose a blue printed dress that seed easier to wear.
Afterward, she put on a pair of white patterned pantyhose. After turning around in front of the mirror, Litte suddenly felt sothing within her awaken.
They say girls love beauty, and Litte was no exception.
Previously, Litte hadn’t been exposed to cute won’s clothing. After coming to the noble family, she had always worn n’s clothes and hadn’t paid much attention to her appearance.
But now, looking at herself in the mirror, she was surprised to find that she didn’t seem to lose to Olivia at all...
Of course, after comparing her chest size, Litte still admitted there was a slight gap between herself and Olivia.
But only in that area!
Having seen her own charm, Litte’s confidence in winning over Orson increased by a few points.
She then knocked on the door.
Orson had been waiting outside the door for a long ti. Upon hearing Litte’s knock, he imdiately opened the door.
Then, looking at Litte standing at the doorway, Orson showed a satisfied expression.
“Mm, very good. This is truly worthy of being my sister!”
For so reason, hearing Orson say this, combined with his expression, Litte felt a bit unhappy.
So, this Orson guy has always treated her as a junior, never as a peer of the opposite sex, has he?
Litte suddenly felt a bit angry.
Her confidence, which she had just built up by looking in the mirror, was now almost completely shattered by Orson’s blow.
Thinking this, Litte couldn’t help but reach out and hug Orson’s arm, deliberately pressing his arm towards her chest.
Objectively speaking, Litte did have a certain bust size. Although it looked flat when bound, it wasn’t as uncomfortable as a steel plate when unbound.
But to say it was large, it certainly wasn’t, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been possible to bind it, and her secret would have been exposed long ago.
But it was still a girl’s chest. Orson’s arm touching that area, feeling that sensation, still caused him to blush slightly.
“Yo, Orson, you’re blushing?”
“Little brat!” Seeing Litte intentionally teasing him, Orson quickly pulled his hand away, simultaneously delivering a hand chop to Litte’s forehead.
“I am an adult male. Before you act, please carefully consider the consequences of provoking an adult male.”
Orson said this, half-warning, half-joking, then continued to praise her:
“Originally, I thought that after wearing n’s clothes for so long, you would lose so of your femininity. It seems I was overthinking.”
“Hey! I’m roughly the sa age as you, Orson!”
“Yes, but it’s completely impossible to tell. Do you believe that if we walk out now, nine out of ten people would say we’re siblings?”
“Tch, that’s just because you’re taller.”
“Apologies, but being tall allows one to do as they please.” Orson smiled, then placed his hand on Litte’s head and ruffled her hair.
Although Litte said one thing, her body language showed another. Feeling Orson’s touch, Litte still comfortably narrowed her eyes like a small cat.
Just then, a knock suddenly sounded from downstairs. The cozy atmosphere between the two instantly dissipated. Orson quickly ushered Litte into the room, while he went downstairs to answer the door.
Orson went to the door and opened it. Standing there was none other than Elsa, with whom Orson had recently had so unpleasantness.
“Princess Elsa? What brings you here?” Orson asked with confusion.
“Um... there are so things I want to ask you about, Orson.”
“Oh, okay, please co in and we can talk.” Orson said this while leading Elsa to the living room.
“Please say, Your Highness. I will certainly tell you everything I know,” Orson said, sitting on the sofa in the living room and looking at Elsa.
“Um, is Litte not in the dormitory today?”
“Are you looking for Litte? He’s resting upstairs. If you’re looking for him, I can go call him down for you now.”
“Uh, there’s no need,” Elsa shook her head, then said, “I ca this ti to inquire about the details of the Mudrick case series.”
“Didn’t I already report the specific details to Your Highness before? You should already be aware of everything.”
“What we asked at that ti wasn’t entirely accurate, just a rough overview of the incident’s occurrence and progression.”
“Now that we’ve examined Mudrick’s body and reviewed the Iron Wolf rcenary Group’s records, obtaining so detailed information, we have so new questions. Therefore, I would like to ask you to answer them one by one for here, if that’s alright?”
“Certainly.” Orson nodded. “As I said before, I will absolutely tell you everything I know.”
“Alright then, I would like to ask, the Iron Wolf rcenary Group was infiltrated before this, right?”
“I believe that was the case. I’m not entirely sure about the specifics, but Your Highness knows that rcenary groups, as an organization, generally don’t have particularly good discipline among their mbers, especially in their daily lives. That’s why Saint Roland City stations them in the outskirts, isn’t it?”
“...” Elsa stared at Orson. “You know that’s not what I an.”
“What I want to ask is, before this, you should have already been plotting to eliminate the Iron Wolf rcenary Group, right?”
“Of course. After all, the Iron Wolf rcenary Group was going to act against our family’s benefactors. We naturally couldn’t stand by and do nothing. However, we weren’t planning to wipe out the Iron Wolf rcenary Group at that ti, just give them a small lesson.”
The Empire’s legal system was actually quite strange. While private duels were explicitly prohibited, the process of judgnt and sentencing was very vague.
Incidents like murder were similar. Unless the deceased was a noble or a highly influential rchant whose family paid a large sum to the court or the city guards, they would only register the case. If a regular citizen went missing or mysteriously died outside, and they went to the city guards for help, the guards would rely record it and generally wouldn’t investigate. At most, they would send out a few guards to check the situation and make a note.
To truly solve a case, one had to hire a private detective to follow clues.
“I’ll be direct,” Elsa said. “Didn’t you say before that you didn’t like beating around the bush or threatening you?”
“This ti, I won’t ntion that the wounds on the Iron Wolf rcenary Group mbers weren’t caused by the demonized Mudrick. I won’t ntion you developing an underground force in the Imperial Capital. And I won’t ntion you secretly sending people to infiltrate soone else’s base and ss with their contracts.”
“I can overlook all of that. I just have one question.” Elsa said this, holding up one finger.
“The City Lord of Constan City, a small city near Saint Roland City, Trist, is dead. Do you have any idea about that?”
“How would I have any idea?” Orson tilted his head, looking at Elsa with confusion.
“Although it’s close to the Imperial Capital, he’s just a small baron. Would I specifically pay attention to him? You can’t be serious.”
