Morgan stood there with his blood-stained axe in hand, still in a daze.

Why did I suddenly chop down a Navy Vice Admiral, and then the Vice Admiral suddenly fell asleep?

No... luckily, Vice Admiral Garp wasn't really taken down by my axe. He just fell asleep sohow.

The panic and guilt in Morgan's heart slightly subsided, but at the sa ti, a strange emotion surfaced.

That slash just now... hehe, it felt kind of nice.

Boom!

A cannonball fired from the distant Navy warship exploded on the sea nearby, causing the ship to shake violently.

At the sa ti, the shouts of soldiers from the warship echoed.

"Vice Admiral Garp!"

"What happened to Vice Admiral Garp? Damn pirates!"

"We must rescue Vice Admiral Garp!"

"I saw it! That's Revolutionary Dragon on the other side! And now Vice Admiral Garp is in his hands!"

"Truly the most dangerous criminal in the world! Damn it!"

The Navy soldiers were enraged, firing volley after volley of cannonballs that exploded around the pirate ship, making it rock violently.

Earlier, Garp had specifically ordered the warships to provide firepower support from a distance so they wouldn't interfere with his battle. That's why the warships were quite far away.

From the ships, the soldiers could only vaguely see soone strike Garp down, after which Dragon appeared in front of Garp.

Now, their Vice Admiral Garp was lying on the ground with a visible wound on his chest, while the infamous Revolutionary Dragon stood nearby!

Dragon held his forehead, looking speechless at his father lying on the ground, trying to explain:

"You've got it wrong, I didn't..."

Dragon's explanation was abruptly cut off by a cold voice.

Sig stepped forward at that mont, and his low, icy voice rang out:

"That's right! Your Vice Admiral Garp has already lost consciousness! Accept the reality!"

This chilling statent instantly silenced the cannon fire. The Navy soldiers were montarily stunned.

This... was it true?

Had their invincible Vice Admiral Garp fallen?

Even the people on the deck, including Dragon, stared at Sig with shocked expressions, not understanding why he would say such a thing.

But Sig lowered his head and locked eyes with Dragon, their gazes eting as if conveying so unspoken aning.

What they didn't know was that Sig was nearly moved to tears internally.

"The Navy thinks Dragon attacked Garp!"

"Dragon, now it's finally your turn to experience being misunderstood!"

Tears practically flowed in Sig's heart.

Ever since acquiring the absurd system, he felt like he was trapped in the eye of a storm in this world. No matter what he said or did, it would always be twisted into sothing far beyond his imagination.

But now, finally, soone else was being misunderstood! Heh heh...

That's right, Navy! It's all him! Everything is part of the Revolutionary Army's sche!

"Who would've thought I'd get to sit back and enjoy the show for once!"

Sig was deeply moved.

On the other side, Dragon, seeing the aningful look in Sig's eyes, pondered for a mont and then seed to figure out Sig's intentions.

"I see... so this is the plan Mr. Sig has in mind? It's indeed a feasible strategy."

He glanced at Garp, who was still sound asleep at his feet, and his eye twitched slightly.

Despite the Navy's repeated cannon fire and Sig shouting across the distance, the sleeping Garp remained completely undisturbed.

With a sigh, Dragon bent down, slid his hands under Garp's armpits, and hoisted him up... much like a helpless parent lifting a mischievous child. Then, with a few quick steps of Moonwalk, he ascended into the sky, heading toward the Navy fleet.

"Garp has already been taken hostage by ! If you want him alive, stop firing and stay where you are!"

Dragon shouted loudly.

The warship's cannons quickly fell silent.

Sig was montarily stunned.

"This works? Why isn't it going the way I imagined... If you're being misunderstood, at least show a more frustrated expression..."

Dragon didn't remain in the air for long and swiftly returned to his ship, placing the still-sleeping Garp on the deck.

"Ivankov, take the fleet and leave!"

Ivankov snapped out of his daze and imdiately issued commands to the other Revolutionary Army warriors.

The entire refugee fleet gradually sailed away, leaving only Dragon's ship and the distant Navy warships locked in a silent standoff.

Looking at Garp, who was still snoring loudly, Dragon's gaze grew complicated.

How did things co to this?

He had imagined countless scenarios of what might happen if Sig clashed with Garp. No matter how he intervened, what kind of outco would it bring?

Perhaps it would have been a grand and earth-shattering battle, the result of which would shake the world.

But he never expected it to end like this...

Dragon's eyes shifted to the wound on Garp's chest, and they trembled slightly as a shock coursed through him.

Though Garp was asleep, the wound was undeniably real.

It was deep and long—a wound that could have been fatal to an ordinary person.

For a martial arts expert adept at "Life Return," stopping the bleeding wasn't an issue, but it was still a serious injury.

Dragon turned his gaze toward the distant pirate ship, where Morgan stood.

"A hidden powerhouse?"

"Strange, he doesn't look like a strong person... Maybe precisely because of that, he could execute such a successful ambush!"

Dragon sighed inwardly.

Finally, his gaze settled on Sig.

Even after everything that had transpired, Sig remained standing in the sa spot, his expression unwavering.

Though Garp was asleep, he wasn't like an ordinary person who completely let down his guard against the outside world.

The world's top warriors, even in their sleep, retained an instinctive vigilance akin to a beast's, making it hard for anyone to approach them.

But while most people couldn't get close... Sig could.

This was soone Garp himself had spoken of, expressing his anticipation for a peak duel. A figure not to be underestimated!

Sig could have easily acted while Garp slept, yet he stayed in place, unmoving.

"Mr. Sig held back, and even subtly hinted that I could use Garp as a hostage to ensure a safe retreat."

"This is far superior to my original plan in ways I can't even quantify."

Dragon couldn't help but be impressed.

Had it not been for Morgan's sudden attack on Garp, Dragon never would have believed that this man was capable of striking Garp down in a single blow.

It was all so peculiar. After spending nearly half a day traveling with Sig's bandit crew, Morgan's existence had even escaped the notice of the Revolutionary Army's top fighters, himself included.

"That seemingly random Marine... could he be part of so grand plan? Or just one piece of Mr. Sig's larger sche? It's all too strange."

The refugee fleet gradually disappeared into the distance, leaving the Navy warships and Dragon's vessel silently facing each other.

Dragon stood on the deck, guarding the loudly snoring Navy Vice Admiral, lost in thought.

And far away on the ocean, a blue-skinned, saw-shark Fish-Man nad Arlong surfaced quietly, watching the scene unfold from a distance.
