John glanced at the figure, then at the system panel.
He looked from the panel back to the figure before him, and hesitantly turned to Vincent at his side.
Although he had sowhat guessed that the consciousnesses of these people had crossed into this world, subject to certain suppressions or changes, he had not anticipated that Dark Fox would be altered as well.
True, the body looked very tall and imposing, quite the robust figure, which ordinarily wouldn't pose any issues.
But why did the description on the interface indicate that the body was that of a girl?
A girl!
John felt his worldview crumbling in that instant.
Not that he was one to judge by appearances, but this revelation seed particularly jarring and dissonant.
After all, Dark Fox himself was a man over 1.8 ters tall.
But now, here he was in this body, and not just any body, but that of a girl.
It all seed rather bizarre.
His curiosity was piqued.
If even Dark Fox was in such a state, what then were the situations of Silver Tear and Victor?
Vincent cast a perplexed glance at John.
Why was this man suddenly looking at him with such a strange expression on his face?
After a mont's thought, nothing particularly troubleso ca to mind, so he let it go.
Here he was, a formidable apocalyptic-tier awakener, now suppressed to a silver-tier level.
John, rely a platinum-tier, seed unaffected, which was downright bizarre.
Vincent really began to suspect that this secret realm was targeting awakeners of higher levels, but that was just a fleeting thought for now; the specifics remained unclear.
On the other side, Dark Fox's face changed the instant he saw John standing on the Thorned Rock Serpent.
It was a mix of excitent and exhilaration! He felt like crying; after being in this place for so long, he had finally spotted his teammate.
It had not been easy at all.
Instinctively, Dark Fox wanted to rush over and give John a loving embrace, but he was quickly pulled back by the chief of the Eagle Tribe.
"What are you doing? Don't forget, you are now considered the most beautiful person in our tribe, and they are likely coming for you."
Dark Fox involuntarily wiped his face; honestly, being called the most beautiful person was quite unnerving.
"Father, do you trust ? If you do, I might be able to negotiate with them. Maybe this ti, we can join forces to defeat the Panther Tribe."
The chief of the Eagle Tribe looked at Dark Fox as if he were looking at a fool.
"What are you thinking? If they have co this far, it's either for you or for our resources and land. Although I don't know how they acquired these beasts, it surely isn't for any good reason. Perhaps they've already made contact with the Panther Tribe."
Those around were also shocked, unable to believe that their chief's daughter would want to negotiate with their aggressors, an unthinkable notion.
Dark Fox was frantic, but now that he had seen his teammates, he couldn't let the situation get any worse.
John, observing the urgency on Dark Fox's resolute face, was montarily unsure whether to laugh or say sothing else.
Without the help of the system, how could he have recognized that the person before him was his teammate?
The chief of the Eagle Tribe eyed the group warily, his palms sweating.
This was the first ti they had seen the Zebra Tribe with so many beasts.
On this continent, the Zebra Tribe and their own Eagle Tribe were similar; neither had the ability to control beasts, only the power of inscriptions.
Only the Panther Tribe had the capability to control beasts.
Now, they felt an unprecedented pressure, a truly terrifying prospect.
As the Zebra Tribe charged forward, the warriors of the Eagle Tribe also roared and rushed to et them.
Without hesitation, ard with spears, wooden axes, and knives, they faced death bravely.
Behind them was their holand, and they had no retreat!
John understood that his teammates were nearby, so he didn't let the serpents strike fatally.
In fact, when an Eagle Tribe native was nearly slain by one of their own, a serpent's tail gently coiled around him and whisked him away, even saving several others in such manner.
The others didn't notice anything amiss, only feeling that these beasts were sowhat inscrutable.
After all, several tis they had nearly killed soone, but now suddenly, those sa individuals were being saved.
However, they did feel a change in the strength within their bodies, becoming more vigorous than before, and they showed no signs of worry.
They knew they were backed by a divine envoy.
With such support, they had no reason to fear.
They had also seen the miraculous power that healed them whenever they bled.
As long as they did their best, they were confident that nothing could go wrong.
anwhile, John was indeed bestowing them with buffs.
Their wounds visibly began to heal at an observable rate.
With this enhancent, they felt no fear; instead, they charged forward relentlessly.
Winning this battle would an gaining more resources and opportunities, allowing them to achieve much more.
John kept a watchful eye over the entire scene, relieved slightly when he saw no unexpected incidents.
After all, his teammates were still on the opposite side, and the last thing he wanted was to accidentally harm them.
The situation was still unclear, and he knew they had to regroup before making any further plans.
The first wave of combat left everyone in awe.
Aside from a few who were seriously injured, there seed to be no difference for the others.
They exchanged looks, each seeing the surprise in the other's eyes; they had never expected the first clash to leave them unscathed.
It seed unbelievable.
But only Dark Fox knew that all of this was thanks to John.
Without him, the situation could have been much worse.
The chief of the Eagle Tribe glanced at John, feeling a sense of wariness.
Why did this man exert such an oppressive feeling? It was as though his power far exceeded his own, yet there were no visible runes on him.
Could this be soone from the Panther Tribe?
No, he had encountered people from the Panther Tribe before and knew they were not as simple as they seed.
Perhaps there were secrets he was unaware of, or other underlying factors at play.
Why were there suddenly so many people?
And where had these beasts co from?
His mind was filled with too many questions, but in this mont, he could not voice them and had to forcefully suppress them.
Watching the serpents' massive tails smash their fences to pieces, he beca anxious.
Their fences were fortified with inscriptive attacks and should not have been so easily destroyed.
Could it be that these serpents were not afraid of their rune powers? Impossible, that simply could not be.
No one on this continent could be unafraid!
