The leader of the Tian Clan laughed, glanced at the imprisoned girls, and then said with open mockery,

"This is the peak of weakness. A so-called powerful clan resorting to taking children hostage to claim superiority? I must say, Yun Taizhu, the Yun Clan has truly fallen."

Yun Taizhu, though boiling with rage inside, rely placed his hand on his sword and replied,

"In war, everything is a prize. If you must sacrifice all your pieces to win, then that too is part of strategy."

Longsheng shook his head.

"No. That's rely a sign of fear. And now… I understand why you seem so uneasy, Yun Taizhu."

Yun Taizhu frowned.

"Uneasy? Ridiculous. If I were uneasy, I wouldn't be standing here."

Longsheng stared directly into his eyes, as if peering into the depths of his soul.

"Really? Then why hasn't the Eternal Court's reinforcents arrived yet?"

Sothing inside Yun Taizhu froze. He wanted to respond, but suddenly—

"Heh... how amusing."

A deep, majestic voice shook the entire battlefield.

A dark, oppressive energy—like a black cloud—appeared in the sky.

The groaning of space-ti intertwined, and then, from a rift in the heavens, several terrifying beings erged.

They were not rely powerful entities—they were beyond that. Each one bent the laws of nature and held the concept of life and death in their hands.

It was one of the Eternal Court's supre legions, which could only be mobilized by the decree of the Eternal Council.

The Supre General of the Eternal Court, Sai Ming, stepped onto the battlefield wearing a black robe and armor forged from shadows. A sword was strapped to his back, longer than planets, and his eyes were two endless black holes.

"Today, this realm will make its choice."

His voice echoed like a whisper through the depths of the cosmos.

"The Ling Clan will either be annihilated… or you will hand over Tian Shen."

The entire battlefield fell silent.

Tian Longsheng, who hadn't taken a single step back, raised his arm. In that instant, thousands of golden arrays soared around him.

"This world belongs to the Tian Clan. What right does the Eternal Court have to interfere?"

"Besides, Sai Ming you bastard, this has nothing to do with you or those old bastards on the council. Back off," Tian Longsheng said coldly.

He knew this general. They had clashed in nurous battles—one could even consider them old rivals in a way.

General Sai Ming smiled, but it was a smile filled with nothing but coldness and cruelty.

"Power defines right. And the Immortal Court intervenes wherever it pleases."

Longsheng chuckled softly.

"So you're saying today, power will decide who's right? As far as I recall, you've never been able to defeat ."

At that mont, the sky trembled.

Yun Taizhu, now reassured that the Immortal Court had co to his aid, regained his confidence.

"Let's see who survives this war now. Haha! Ling Weitian, you're finished!"

Ling Weitian felt a slight headache forming. Both the Tian Clan and the Immortal Court had sent their top forces.

He hadn't expected things to escalate this far. In his eyes, destroying the Yun Clan wasn't that big of a deal—but a clash between Sai Ming and Tian Longsheng could severely destabilize this realm.

He glanced at Tian Longsheng and Sai Ming. They had sealed the surrounding space-ti and created a separate dinsion governed by their own laws and Daos.

They had done so to prevent their battle from affecting the rest of the world—otherwise, with their power, the realm might shatter.

At that very mont, deep within the Ling Clan estate, a strikingly handso man sat on a throne.

He had been there long before the first blow was exchanged between the two clans.

Tian Shen sat on a floating bed, leaning against pillows woven from the threads of entangled reality.

His hands were locked under his chin, and his pitch-black eyes, unblinking, watched the scene unfold.

"Well… if I were being generous, I'd give this battle a six out of ten."

His voice echoed in the surrounding void—not loud, not soft. Only beings with perception beyond the lower dinsions could hear it.

He hadn't expected much from this war anyway. After all, it was just a conflict between two little clans—at best, they were considered powerful in this realm alone.

If at least the top fighters from the Lower Verse were involved, maybe it would have been exciting.

As it stood now… there was nothing particularly interesting about it.

He glanced at the leaders of the Tian Clan and the Immortal Court. They were focused on each other, and should either cross the line, the other would strike.

"I think it's about ti I bring this ridiculous battle to an end."

At that mont...

The sky was no longer blue.

Torn fragnts of space hung above the battlefield like darkened shards of glass. Opposing energies—one of regal light, the other of eternal darkness—clashed in the heart of the world.

Tian Longsheng stood with his golden robe fluttering in the wind. His eyes, like two extinguished suns, glead across the battlefield.

"You're still the sa masterless dog who kisses his new master's leash just for a taste of power, aren't you?"

He recalled old mories—back when Sai Ming was no different from his own brother.

But he couldn't rember—when had everything changed? Why had his forr friend suddenly betrayed him and joined the Eternal Court?

He didn't know. And at this point, he no longer cared.

His words ca out calm and disdainful—so heavy they seed to choke the very breath of the earth.

Across from him stood Sai Ming. A cloak of shadows draped over him, armor forged from the night itself, and eyes that seed to co from the depths of a black hole.

"And you're still the sa arrogant, loudmouthed brat who thinks the heavens revolve around him."

That was all—and nothing more.

He had no intention of wasting ti with Tian Longsheng. He had been given a task, and he rely wanted to complete it and return to his solitude.

At that very mont, the sky cracked open.
