Chapter 484: Chapter 484- Plans to Free the Heads

“Could you repeat that?”

Martha asked with an arched brow as she walked beside the Jun’s Mage.

Fiona smiled widely as she watched.

“I think we can do sothing about this… open it without setting off a catastrophic bomb.”

Redrick Jafar stood taken aback behind the duo.

His thoughts reset before he quickly joined in.

“How do you suppose we disperse it?”

He could hold all the grudges in the world against the Juns, but nothing ca before the life of his King.

If he needed to make a seal with the Devil, the young Advisor would.

After all, the King’s life was irreplaceable.

“Actually, I’m trying to get around that.”

Fiona replied without giving the man even a subtle look of intrigue.

She seed focused on the structure in front of them.

“What were your suggestions?”

Martha asked as she folded her arms.

“I’ve already taken a look at it, and I’m sure you’re aware already but teleporting it would be a dull move.”

Fiona nodded once.

“With the Mana Vortex within.” She said,

“I’m aware it appeared while they defended themselves against the 5th Knight of the Devil King.”

A sigh escaped her lips.

“Kira rlin couldn’t have gotten enough ti to create the Territorial Space for it.”

Martha scoffed lightly as she stared at Fiona.

‘Just how does she do it?’

Fiona had not been involved with the trial, and neither was she a guest of any position within her household.

There was no reason she should have any of that information when she wasn’t even there in the first place.

Just then, movent caught the peripheral of her vision, and she turned to the side to find a young golden-haired man standing firmly with his arms clasped behind him.

‘Thylan Swanstorm.’

She noted before shifting her attention away.

“I had guessed you would be aware, but you startle every ti.”

Fiona giggled lightly while Redrick frowned as he stared at the Jun’s Mage.

Indeed, information that should not have gone out was sohow being said by a woman who was never there.

If that wouldn’t send suspicion to him, then he would be an unremarkably oblivious man.

“Right, so if you say dispersing it through teleportation is impossible, then what else did you have in mind?”

He asked, nonetheless.

He had long decided to keep his thoughts to himself until the safety of the man on the Throne.

“Well, if you recall the Theory of Mana Reflux and Mana Vortex, then you should be aware that mana… and aura ought not to be functioning properly.”

“Hah,” Martha muttered under her breath as she pald herself.

‘This is exactly why Sister said I needed to go back to the basics.’

Magic was a grand concept.

With sches, theories and laws that ford its foundations.

Yes, it was a supernatural phenonon.

The ability to create sothing out of nothing, but that was only the rudintary form of it.

Magic was, in fact, complex and needed distinct pathways and formulas for a grander sothing to be created from nothing.

With that in mind, theories were formulated.

So danced in the Heads of most mages up till their deathbeds.

And one of such, was…

“Also with the fact that the Matriarch tried to craft a Territorial Space to seal up the Vortex.”

Martha muttered silently as she placed her fingers under her chin.

“Then, the rebound wavelengths that should have caused the dysfunction of our mana circles and aura stars are being… withheld.”

Fiona nodded once.

“Hah, I had forgotten about that.” She said as she clicked her tongue.

“But it still works anyway… with wavelengths as powerful as the Vortex, this Veil would pop like a cherry if it’s emitted without restrictions.”

Redrick Jafar furrowed his brows in confusion.

But he paid attention, still.

Most of their conversations had co out as gibberish… plain encirclent around the main point.

But he didn’t need that.

“So, how exactly do we take care of it? How do we pop it like said cherry”

The girls glanced at him in unison.

Similar expressions revealed on their faces as their gazes t his.

And the young Advisor nearly shrank from the look of sophisticated riddlent etched on their faces.

His frown deepened.

‘I don’t like them being together.’

Then they just as easily swayed away and continued.

“What stumped you at first, Martha?”

She asked.

“The wavelengths… and it’s source. Dark Mana is delicate.

Teleportation would have been difficult and required an entire tower of mages to get done. And even the ti expended would have been unnecessary.”

She sighed.

“Then other options ca… but total removal without so sort of backlash explosion was inevitable.”

Fiona’s lips twitched.

“But it is going to explode even with my plan.”

Martha shook her head slowly.

“You must have a plan to secure that explosion.

I didn’t, and that is why we’re still at this impasse.”

“But, Kira would.”

Martha stood silent for a mont.

Her deep, contemplative expression dissolves into thinner edges.

A calm overtook her.

“Yes, Kira would.”

A mont passed by, before—

“Alright, with Haushpan rlin’s Theory on Wavelengths, we can deal with this sohow.”

Martha said with a nod.

“Yes, we’ll begin by tracing those wavelengths. The one within the Do.”

Fiona interjected.

“You were able to perceive the flow of chaos of Dark Mana that forged the wall, yes?”

“I did, and that is why phasing our mana through it, though difficult, would be doable.”

“Yes… ” Fiona stretched her arms and placed them on the wall of the Do.

She took in a breath of fresh air and released it with a gust of mana flowing out of her body.

It rushed like fireflies, untraceable to the naked eye unless you were a veteran of magic or soone capable of perceiving such small molecules.

Perating through the walls, before rushing upwards, and joining the current of Dark Mana that encompassed the Barrier.

With a calm face, she pushed out more mana, and the sa situation occurred.

A tide of her energy swept with the rest of the Dark mana that flowed like a still lake across it.

A mont passed by, and she closed her eyes.

Focusing on the flow and the mana particles that bounced back at her.

Repeating a process that Martha, herself perford, she began to inspect it.

“Oh… how about instead of struggling to get mana through the small holes ford by its current, why not just forge and stabilise our own?”

Martha arched her brow.

Curiosity etched on her face as she leaned closer to the Jun’s Mage.

“Like make holes within… wouldn’t that just set it off?”

“Well… not unless we control the waves…”

Fiona stood back and opened her eyes.

Then turning back to Thylan, she asked.

“The Delegates of the Darrell Household are here, right?”

Thylan flinched for a mont before nodding rapidly.

“Ye– Yes.”

“Oh good. Who were they? If I rember correctly, it takes ti to get here on a flight.”

“Most made use of the Warp Gates… well, most if not all.”

He replied as his pupils instinctively darted downwards each ti they locked onto Fiona’s.

Fiona nodded.

“Get the Household Assistant of the Elvin, Techa, Aquarius and Lucia Household.”

Martha watched their conversation with great interest, while Redrick stood with a quiet confusion hidden behind his stoic mask.

“Just the Assistants? Wha– What do I tell them?”

Thylan asked as he scratched the back of his head with a nervous chuckle.

Fiona shrugged.

“They’re Heads are also trapped in here. If they want them saved, then they’ll happily help.

Figure out a way to tell them yourself.”

Thylan nodded once before walking away quickly.

Imdiately, Fiona got back to the Do, leaving the two others beside her speechless.

But that didn’t last long.

“Did you really turn a Royal into a Housepet?” Martha said with a smug smile as she took small peeks at the Advisor.

“Hah, he works his worth,” Fiona replied as she whistled their concerns away.

“With the help of the other Households, and a bunch of mages from your tower, we can crack the Territorial Space even a bit.

It’ll cause the Vortex to surge out, and its wavelengths will slam against the umghastly particles of Dark Mana.

With that, the Vortex imdiately starts off its job and begins its suction.”

Martha nodded as she spoke.

“With that suction, and without necessarily causing an explosion, the Veil will be forcefully absorbed into the Vortex.”

“But there’s no saying that it won’t explode.”

Martha interjected.

“Yes, and that’s why we need the help of the other Clan Leaders.

They’re at the top of their ga.

With the powers of a god, an Elf with their special Destructive and Constructive Abilities, the Techa’s so-called technological advancent and even the Aquarius blessing of the Seas, we might have a contingency cooked up before sothing happens.”

Martha glanced up at the sky.

Rolling her eyes with an exasperated sigh.

‘I guess they weren’t exactly useless in the end.’

“And if they can’t do it well…”

Fiona paused, then suddenly turned to walk away.

“I’ll be back.”

She announced before departing down the stairs leaving the Advisor and Martha in an awkward silence.

The two stared at each other, then looked away instantly.

Retrieving themselves to their thoughts while they awaited the preparations to get the Household Heads out of danger.

And above the two, up in the clouds, was the watchful eyes of a lilac-haired petite girl.

Her Gothic dress was swirling with the wind as she stood on a door platform with an open wooden door behind her.

Her eyes traced the movents of Fiona Jun, before darting back to the Do which peaked the skies.

A frown ford on her face as a woman walked out of the open door and onto the platform.

“My Lady, I’ve finished the arrangents.”

The only Maid of the Arcanus Household, Tacha said as she cleaned her hands with a napkin.

Sophie nodded once.

“Did mother leave the note?”

She asked.

Tacha stared at her petite master.

A small, sad smile ford on her face as she clasped her hand behind her back.

“Yes.”

Imdiately, Sophie turned.

“Alright.” She said with silent excitent.

“Let’s see what my mum had in mind for .”

Tacha watched as Sophie walked through the open door, her sad smile widening before she followed after her.

“How sad.”
