RAPH POV.
About four hours had passed by the ti I returned to class, and most of the Lectures had ended. It was around this ti, where the students were conversing and chatting that I suddenly appeared out of thin air, and it seed like my sudden appearance took them by surprise.
Well, it's understandable, not everyone reappears like that. Teleportation magic worked in different ways, and Fiona's thod was one of the quickest, though, it was also one of the rarest.
Now that classes were over, it was ti for the next step– Club Recruitnt.
Sophomores are usually in charge of this, introducing themselves in our classes, and giving us the benefits of joining their clubs.
At the mont, five of these clubs were present on the podium in our classroom, acting as representatives.
The five clubs that were present in the Academy are usually based on a sort of niche.
For example, the Imperial Club was created by one of Lumbrica's past kings and is usually hosted by royalties, nobles, and commoners interested in seeking higher positions in society. Discover more content at My Virtual Library Empire
It's a good club for building connections, especially in the Nobles sector. About 15% of the Students are mbers of the club; they have the least possible number of mbers since their entry requirents are usually absurd.
Then another popular club would be the dia Club. Anyone can join in, and their requirents aren't that difficult to et, though they don't accept many entries. About 5% of the students are mbers of this club, and they are involved with spreading information within the school.
The president was actually Tiffany Kane, a mber of the Student Council Body.
Then next would be the Battle Combat Club. Of course, it is open to both mages and knights, and other professions, so they are the most populated, having nearly 50% of the Students as mbers.
This includes both System users and Non-System users, though the numbers of the latter were quite few.
Then there's the Art of Craft Club. It's for mages, alchemists, artists, and mage-related professions of all kinds. Well, mostly mages and alchemists, but you find artists there as well. For example, the vice president of the Arts of Craft Club is a popular artiste, Raymond Vinci and also the eldest son of the Vinci household.
They have about 13% of the Students as mbers, and they are said to be quite eccentric.
Lastly would be, of course, as expected, the System Club; basically, the only requirent is for you to possess a system.
It was a club created a while back by commoners who thought the Great families were prude and arrogant.
Though, as much as I believe it is an unnecessary club, I would have to admit that it serves its usefulness in other ways.
For example, a lot of their mbers develop rare and legendary professions.
I would say that it is necessary as it aids in our goal of fighting off the demons. The number of mbers would be 17% of the Students.
'Besides, no amount of 'hidden' professions as they called it, can defeat '. Raph thought, his gaze snapping from the set of individuals on the podium when soone tapped him on his side.
Turning towards my right, I found Darell staring at with a puzzled expression.
Darell had been waiting for my arrival at my seating position, it seed he had given himself to his fate of joining my club. 'Well, not that he's the only one'.
Raising a brow, I asked. "What?"
Darell stared at and then at the girl sitting comfortably on my lap while swinging her legs and humming a lodic tune. She was seated in the side position.
"....How long do you intend on doing that?" He asked, his tone laced with an emotion that I couldn't understand while pointing at Elsie.
I sighed, turning to my left to find her smiling from ear to ear.
"....Elsie, you're making others uncomfortable". I said, but I expected her response.
Darell wasn't the only one who had given himself up to his fate. I can't believe I couldn't escape from one girl
'....though…those boobs…' My gaze slowly drifted downwards, and the sensation I experienced a few minutes ago played in my head.
I felt Elsie flinch, and looking up, a quirky smirk was written all over her face, while she stared deep into my eyes.
She grabbed one of them and asked. "Wanna touch them?".
My eyes bulged on reflex, but I couldn't deny it...the offer was tempting.
She squinted her eyes and leaned in closer to my face. "I will if you ask nicely". She grabbed it harder, and I quickly looked away.
"You see the problem, Darell?" I asked, turning towards him, my face flushed from embarrassnt.
He stared at her, and then at , slowly sighed, nodding at the sa ti. "Lucky bastard". He grumbled, turning away from as the next representatives climbed up the podium.
I chuckled, but what can I say? I didn't ask for any of this.
I turned towards the next representative as well, a familiar figure talking to our class about his group.
"The Vinci Household, I heard their family Arts are one of the quirkiest". Darell suddenly spoke up, while we watched.
'True, those guys can bring anything they create, as long as they call it art into life.
Though, all of this is based on their mana level of course'. I thought, nodding my head in agreent.
"It's such a sha we couldn't see their fighting techniques during the Rankings Battle, but I presu a chance will co.
After all, Strong people always find themselves on the battlefield".
Darell glanced at . "You know you could just ask for a duel right?" He said with a raised brow, and a light chuckle exuded from my lips.
"Don't get wrong. I would love to see their Family Arts and fighting techniques, but…." So images of my past life played out, as I had once fought with so mbers of their household on the battlefield. Yes, they were strong, but…
"I'm stronger".
I noticed Darell flinching, but after a short mont, he turned away with a sigh. "Your pride really, but you're right. I wouldn't want to fight you even if I died and got regressed".
Turned towards him, blinking lightly.
"Regress? What's that?" Elsie asked, her ears perked up to our conversation.
"Oh, Miss. Elsie, it's nothing really. Just so jumble mumble Jane was telling about" Darell said, laughing out loud.
'....Well, no shit'. I thought and looked away. '...Anyways, now is not the ti to get distracted, while these guys are still M 0here recruiting'.
I slowly picked up Elsie in a bridal style, and she flinched in surprise but soon clung to tighter while giggling.
"Hey Elsie, I need to get the Club registration form, but you're in the way"
She looked up at , her cheeks puffed.
'What's with that reaction?' I thought, confused for a mont, but she soon sighed and eased her grip on .
"You won't be gone for long, right?" She asked as I dropped her on her seat.
'I don't think I will, it shouldn't take that long….right?'
"I won't". I replied as I got up. "Darell, gather the rest"
"...We're still missing two mbers though". He said while he looked up at .
"Don't worry about that; I'll get them to join," I replied as I ca down the stairs. 'The mbers of my club right now are, Ciara rlin, Jane Lucia, Darell Silvan, Elsie Darkpelt, and then '
A club is ford with at least seven mbers, and with Louis La Teur and Mariam Aquarius, that should solidify the numbers.
'Then, a newly ford club is expected to have an additional three mbers for the first four months to roughly make up twenty, so I'll have to find more mbers eventually'.
My mind was still lost in thoughts as I walked past the door, and for a mont, my gaze locked with Vinci's though nothing ca out of it.
'Probably just a recognition or sothing'. The Vinci household was amongst the first to leave during the Rabkings Battle, so only a few of their elites remained and defended the Colosseum during that attack. Was one of them.
A few minutes later, I exited the LT building and headed in the opposite direction of the Visiting Lounge.
My direction at the mont was the Year. 2 lecture theater.
'Mariam, at the mont, seems to be into Louis…' Just the thought alone made uncomfortable, but what could I do? It's not like she was cheating on . 'And Louis is soone that likes to kill….quite frankly, he's soone that wouldn't mind joining my club, especially with his quirky mindset.
And if he joins, then it'll be easier to convince Mariam'.
I thought as the rays of the sun suffused in a warm afterglow.
"I wouldn't even need to convince her".
So with that in mind, I set off to the Year 2 Lecture theater.
