Chapter 31 – Mu Yang: Then leave the rest to !
“A child?” Mu Yang looked at Xiang Xiushu as if staring at human scum. Unbelievable—this girl was only eighteen! To Mu Yang, she was still just a kid… and yet she was pregnant?
You’re capable of doing sothing like this?
I never thought you were that kind of Jack!
Of course, Mu Yang also understood that Jack’s fusion was sowhat unique. He was both Jack and Xiang Xiushu. The two had already completely rged during the battles of recent tis.
“It’s alright. There will be chances in the future,” Xiang Xiushu said after a brief silence, trying to console her. “As long as we’re alive, that’s what matters.”
“Yes… as long as we’re alive,” Sakataken also stepped forward at this mont. He did not bla Xiang Xiushu for anything. All along, he had treated Xiang Xiushu like his own younger brother. Ever since Xiang’s last hospitalisation, many things about him had changed. Sakataken had sensed sothing was different, but in the end, Xiang Xiushu was still the sa person.
The sa Xiang who shared his ideals.
“Earlier, there was even a space alien trying to kidnap Brother! But Brother Mu Yang dealt with it!” Jiro added.
“Is that so?” Xiang Xiushu showed a lingering look of fear, casting a grateful gaze toward Mu Yang. “Thank you, Mu Yang. If it weren’t for you, I might have…”
Mu Yang shook his head. “Don’t worry about it—we’re all family.” Then his expression turned serious. “The one who struck this ti was the assassin alien, a Nakel-seijin. He wanted to disturb your mind so he could completely defeat you.”
Xiang Xiushu fell silent. So it was because of him… What should he do then? Leave this place? His very existence had now dragged Akiko and the others into danger.
“Xiang!” Akiko suddenly hugged Xiang tightly. “Don’t leave ! I don’t care what other identity you have, just don’t leave !”
“Akiko, you…?” Xiang’s eyes widened. She actually knew?
“Yes, Xiang, there’s no need to worry about it. Didn’t we make it through this? No matter what happens, we’re still your family,” Sakataken also placed a hand on Xiang’s shoulder to comfort him.
“Sakataken… all of you…” Xiang’s eyes turned red again.
“So this ti, let handle it,” Mu Yang turned his gaze to the window. In the distance, the Nakel-seijin and Black King had already begun to act.
“Mu Yang, you…” Xiang Xiushu looked at Mu Yang, concerned. Since the Nakel-seijin had dared to attack him, they must be fully prepared. This whole thing was aid at him—so what about Mu Yang? Could he handle it? Mu Yang was strong, yes, but not as battle-hardened as an experienced Ultra like him.
And truth be told, Mu Yang was rather lazy—he hadn’t even fought many monsters recently.
It felt like he preferred a normal life over being an Ultraman.
So… could Mu Yang really face this?
“We all have to do sothing, don’t we? Besides, this ti the Nakel-seijin pissed off.” Mu Yang gave a soft laugh. “And my identity might actually serve as a kind of protection for them too.”
As Mu Yang spoke, golden light began to radiate from his body.
“Brother Mu Yang is glowing!” Jiro exclaid in disbelief.
The other three fell silent. They all knew Mu Yang’s true identity, but even Xiang Xiushu was witnessing Mu Yang’s transformation for the first ti.
Even in the Land of Light, there weren’t many Ultran who could transform without a transformation device.
Even after Mu Yang disappeared, Jiro still hadn’t quite processed what had happened.
“Xiang, do you think he can win?” Sakataken asked gravely. After all, Ultran must also differ in age, right? Judging by Mu Yang’s age, he was probably still a youth.
“I don’t know. This fight was supposed to be mine,” Xiang Xiushu said quietly. The enemy had co for him. Akiko had nearly died because of the Nakel-seijin.
But Xiang didn’t leave. He agreed to let Mu Yang fight in his place. That was partly because he no longer saw Mu Yang as an outsider… but there were other reasons as well.
For instance, his own true identity still hadn’t been fully revealed.
Or that the Nakel-seijin might try to use this opportunity to attack the Sakataken household.
Or the matter of explaining Akiko’s dication…
…
On the outskirts of the city, the Nakel-seijin and Black King were now on a rampage, showing utter disregard for human life.
They were rely waiting—for Jack Ultraman. In fact, not just on Earth. Their goal was to eliminate Jack. Even in space, the Nakel-seijin and their allied forces had already begun small-scale warfare with the Land of Light. If they could take down Jack, one of its elites…
Then this battle would mark an impressive beginning.
But what they didn’t expect was for a strange sound to suddenly appear at the scene. As the Nakel-seijin and Black King continued their destruction, music began playing—stirring, uplifting music. What was going on?
Even the MAT team mbers who had just arrived exchanged baffled looks. What was happening?
Monts later, a figure appeared in the sky, flying at great speed toward them—and with a powerful kick, smashed into the Nakel-seijin!
