The Ming Jin echoes with a sound, while the Dark Force leaves a palm imprint.

In the circles of civilian martial artists, if you can make a clear sound with one move and have it captured on cara, it’s enough to leave those unfamiliar with martial arts utterly astounded.

Because that sound represents a martial artist’s training and application of their own strength, and it’s sothing unattainable without reaching that level.

However, when it cos to the Dark Force, it’s a completely different spectacle.

One slap refers to a Dark Force expert, who only needs a palm strike with Dark Force at the right point to cause internal injuries, from light bleeding in the ridians to, in severe cases, an inexplicable death.

During the Qing and Ming periods, many formidable martial artists were able to kill easily through contact, which highlights the horror of the Dark Force.

Those without Dark Force simply cannot withstand such damage; they die without even knowing how it happened.

And it’s said that if a martial artist reaches the level of Huajin, their moves beco even more terrifying: with just a finger pressing an apple, they can destroy the insides without damaging the skin.

Xuanzhen the old Daoist looked at Wang Longhu, eyes brimming with unconcealed satisfaction. Although he was unfamiliar with Wang Longhu, seeing such a young Dark Force expert erging dostically made him, as a fellow martial artist, feel reassured about the future of martial arts in the country.

"Martial Uncle."

At this mont, the voice of Daoist Tianwu suddenly sounded in Xuanzhen the old Daoist’s ear, imdiately pulling Xuanzhen’s attention back.

"Tianwu, did Tianle really accept this child as a disciple outside?" Xuanzhen inquired.

As the martial uncle of Daoist Tianwu, and the grand-master of Daoists like Three Lakes and Changfeng, Xuanzhen’s martial arts prowess was unparalleled.

Though Wang Longhu only made a few moves, Xuanzhen could tell that what Wang Longhu learned and used was not from the Wudang martial arts school.

Thus, he doubted the rationale given by Daoist Tianwu.

"Whether it is or isn’t, Martial Uncle likely already has a sense of it, hehe. This kid ca up the mountain with a letter looking for Tianle, presumably having had so contact with him. Seeing his talent, that guy might have intended to offer so help," Daoist Tianwu said alongside Xuanzhen, looking at Wang Longhu who still stood in the field.

"What kind of help?" Xuanzhen asked.

"Martial Uncle can see it too, right? This kid tempers his muscles and bones with the Xingyi’s Tiger and Leopard Thunder Sound, and his heart and lungs are trained with Bajiquan’s exhalation thod. His Dark Force is already stronger than that little ghost from the Treasure House school, clearly not far from reaching Huajin. With enough ti, becoming a grandmaster would just be a matter of one final step."

Xuanzhen’s eyebrows lifted suddenly but calmly as he said, "He ca to Wudang to learn the Fishing Toad Force."

"Exactly, the Wudang Golden Toad Skill is known by everyone who practices martial arts, passed down internally by us since ancient tis. It’s rare for outsiders to learn it,

but Martial Uncle, I think since it’s the 21st century, tis have changed. So of our traditions can also be adjusted; there’s no need to be outdated," Tianwu said, rubbing his hands together.

"So are you saying to teach it?"

"Teaching or not, what difference does it make? When our current generation is gone, how many successors will be willing to endure the hardship of practicing the Golden Toad Skill for decades just to pursue the rare goal of becoming a Huajin grandmaster, which might not even appear among millions? Martial Uncle, it’s bustling down the mountain with all those bars, live houses, and music festivals, filled with young won in skirts that barely cover their hips, drinking, spending money, embracing girls—a declining era for martial arts. Good things should not be shared with the ordinary; it’s a waste to share them. But for talented ones, we might as well offer so unconventional help. Wudang will have one more connection, and such a young Huajin grandmaster will have an unlimited future,"

Daoist Tianwu sighed deeply.

Xuanzhen furrowed his brows, then relaxed them again. How could he not understand what Tianwu was saying?

Although he hasn’t descended the mountain for many years, he knows that today, most of Wudang comprises ordinary Daoists, with fewer disciples willing to endure the hardships of martial arts training.

Those who do excel in martial arts either go out to find jobs or work for the authorities, hard to summon easily at will.

As such, while the Wudang martial spirit looks splendid on the surface today, in reality, each generation is less than the last. With Wudang disciples like Changfeng and Three Lakes, it’s practically heirless.

Befriending a ’future’ young Huajin grandmaster would surely be beneficial and harmless for Wudang.

"Later, have him co to Yunhe Pavilion to find ." Xuanzhen patted Daoist Tianwu’s shoulder, having apparently made a decision, and turned to leave.

"I understand, Martial Uncle." Daoist Tianwu said with a smile, looking at Wang Longhu in the field and nodding with satisfaction.

Not far away, Ohta Ichiro sat on the ground, looking dazed, his senses slowly returning to normal after a while.

The force of Wang Longhu’s palm was considerable, and with the head being one of the most vulnerable parts of the human body, Ohta Ichiro certainly didn’t reach the level of training where he could protect his head with Dark Force at acupuncture points.

It’s fortunate that Wang Longhu didn’t use Dark Force, otherwise, that palm strike could have ended him on the spot.

Ohta Ichiro, having been in charge of the Treasure House school boxing art for more than twenty years, always had a proud nature, seldom finding rivals among his generation.

Coming with the martial arts exchange delegation to Wudang this ti, he thought no one in the middle generation could defeat him.

Yet now, not only did soone appear, but it was Wang Longhu, seemingly just in his twenties, leaving him feeling instantaneously humiliated and frustrated.
