Chapter 111

Thirty soldiers retreated.

The Great Sage took a deep breath and sat down. At that mont, a mysterious man wearing a mask stepped out of the adjacent room.

"Your n still haven't found the Little Grass God?"

The Great Sage shot the man a glance. "Not yet. She vanished without a trace."

The masked man's gaze darkened. "Increase your efforts. Do not let this hinder our plans."

This man was the second Executive of the Fatui—the Doctor.

The Doctor and the Great Sage had ford a partnership to "create a god" in Suru.

The Great Sage scowled. "Can't the Fatui assist? Your spies are everywhere in Teyvat. With your help, we could find that damn god in no ti!"

The Doctor shook his head slightly. "The Tsaritsa has ordered the Fatui to halt operations. I cannot deploy them to aid you."

The Great Sage slamd the table in frustration. "I'm not talking about ordinary agents! Your creations—can't you send them out to search?"

The Doctor's cold gaze locked onto him. "Watch your tone. We are partners, nothing more. I can end this arrangent at any mont."

A flicker of fear crossed the Great Sage's face at the Doctor's unspoken threat. After a tense mont, he scoffed, storming out of the room.

Fine. Once their god-making project was complete, he would settle accounts with the Doctor.

The Doctor watched him leave, a sneer curling his lips. "Fool."

With that, he, too, departed, heading to the underground factory.

Belobog

Bronya's eyes widened with excitent as she saw the extra ten million credit points in her account.

Fifty Icefield Deer had sold out instantly.

She turned to Yuri, who stood beside her. "Yuri, thank you for selling the Icefield Deer."

Yuri smiled. "No need for thanks—business is business. Well, it's getting late. We should head back."

As he spoke, he carefully adjusted Klee, who was sleeping on his back.

Bronya looked at the peacefully dozing Klee and smiled gently.

Nearby, Jing Yuan carried Bai Lu and Qiqi on his back. Hiko carried Hook. Welt had Diona and Yaoyao.

The six little ones had spent the entire day running around the Icefield Deer ranch, playing until they were utterly exhausted.

"Alright, I'll see you off," Bronya said, waving them goodbye before heading toward the Administrative District for a stroll.

As she wandered, she found herself on the bustling comrcial street.

After extensive reconstruction, businesses had reopened, and the area was alive with activity.

Snack stalls, clothing shops, equipnt vendors—though the street still bore signs of past hardships, warmth and hope radiated from the people.

Bronya walked through the crowd, observing the smiles on people's faces.

A familiar sight caught her eye—a family she had once eavesdropped on now ran a bakery.

Peering inside, she saw the father kneading dough, shaping bread with practiced hands. The mother managed the register, while their child sat on a small stool, doing howork beside them.

In Belobog, all children over six were required to attend school, their tuition fully covered by the governnt.

The little boy must have sensed her gaze. Looking up, he spotted Bronya through the window.

She smiled warmly at him before continuing on her way.

After wandering for so ti, Bronya boarded a bus to the New District.

Along the way, she spotted Lynx and Pela eating noodles at a small shop. She almost stopped to say hello—until Lynx casually pulled out a can of preserved herring.

New District, Belobog

Apart from a small residential area, the rest of the district had been converted into farmland.

Crops stretched across the fields, flourishing in the sheltered environnt.

The windbreak wall that Zhongli had casually erected still stood tall, shielding the fields from harsh snowstorms and allowing agriculture to thrive.

During a council eting, soone had proposed erecting a statue of Zhongli in gratitude.

Bronya had agreed—but sohow, Zhongli learned of the plan and personally stopped it.

To him, accepting such an honor ant taking responsibility for Belobog's people—a duty he had no intention of shouldering. His heart remained with Liyue.

In the past, during the Archon War, Zhongli had not sought conflict. He had fought only to protect his people.

But war had found him regardless. The demons who coveted Liyue's lands forced his hand, and so he waged battle, not for conquest, but for survival.

Now, his only concern was Liyue's well-being.

Bronya wandered through the fields, watching as the crops flourished.

Once this harvest was complete, Belobog would finally achieve self-sufficiency.

Satisfied, she turned back toward the city.
