Damien woke to warmth on both sides.

His first thought was that he’d fallen asleep with Seria, which was expected. His second thought was that there was definitely another body pressed against his left side, and that was unexpected.

He opened his eyes to find Elara curled against him, her golden hair spilled across his shoulder, breathing soft and even in sleep. On his right, Seria was still deeply unconscious, her face peaceful in a way he rarely saw when she was awake.

Both of them. Both his anchors, both in his arms.

The anchor bonds humd with contentnt, stronger than he’d ever felt them. The corruption sat at a stable 8.1% – lower than it had been in weeks, pushed back by the dual connection.

Elara stirred first, her eyes opening to et his. She smiled sleepily.

"Good morning," she whispered, clearly trying not to wake Seria.

"When did you get back?" he whispered back.

"A few hours ago. Finished the Church etings earlier than expected." She snuggled closer. "Found you two sleeping very contentedly."

"You could have woken us."

"You both looked exhausted. Besides – " Her smile turned mischievous. " – I figured you’d earned the rest after your... activities."

Damien felt heat rise to his face despite everything. "That obvious huh?"

"The entire house probably knew. Margaret was grinning like she’d won a bet when I arrived." Elara’s voice was warm, teasing. "Apparently, Seria has very distinctive... vocal expressions when she’s enjoying herself."

On his other side, Seria made a sound that might have been a groan of embarrassnt despite being mostly asleep.

"I’m awake," she mumbled. "Stop talking, I’m right here."

"Good morning to you too." Elara leaned across Damien to grin at her. "Sleep well?"

Seria opened her eyes, saw Elara’s face, and instead of the awkwardness that might have existed months ago, she smiled back.

"Very well, actually. Best sleep I’ve had in years."

"I wonder why." Elara’s tone was pure innocence.

"Because I was thoroughly exhausted from physical activity." Seria stretched, completely unselfconscious about being naked under the sheets with both of them. "Multiple rounds of very intense physical activity."

[ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIP DYNAMICS: COMFORTABLE INTIMACY BETWEEN ALL THREE]

Damien watched them interact with sothing like wonder. Three months ago, this situation would have been tense, awkward, fraught with jealousy and competition. Now they were teasing each other like close friends, completely comfortable despite the unusual circumstances.

"So," Elara said, propping herself up on one elbow to look at Seria properly. "Details. How was it?"

"You want details?" Seria raised an eyebrow.

"Absolutely. I’ve been waiting three months for this conversation." Elara’s expression was eager, genuinely interested rather than competitive. "I need to know if he was as good with you as he is with , or if I’m just easily impressed."

Seria laughed, the sound free and genuine. "He was... exceptional. Started gentle, then absolutely destroyed in the best possible way."

"The hair pulling thing?" Elara asked knowingly.

"Oh yes. The hair pulling thing." Seria’s voice went slightly dreamy. "Also the positioning. And the commanding tone. And – " She stopped, apparently rembering Damien was right there. "I’m not going into more detail with him listening."

"Why not? He was there." Elara was clearly enjoying this. "Besides, comparing notes is important. How else will we coordinate our anchor duties?"

"Anchor duties." Damien’s voice was dry. "Is that what we’re calling it now?"

"Would you prefer ’strategic application of intimacy’?" Seria offered.

"That’s worse."

"How about ’making sure you don’t lose yourself to demonic corruption through the power of really good sex’?" Elara suggested.

"Both of you are terrible at naming things," Damien muttered, but he was smiling.

They lay together for a while longer, just existing in comfortable intimacy. No urgency or crisis, just three people who’d figured out how to make impossible work.

Eventually, Elara spoke more seriously. "Seria, have you thought about living arrangents?"

"Living arrangents?" Seria tensed slightly.

"You’re here almost every day anyway. And now that you and Damien are... fully bonded... it seems inefficient for you to maintain a separate apartnt across the city." Elara’s voice was carefully casual. "I’m suggesting you move in here. With us."

Seria was very still. "You’re asking to live with you? Both of you?"

"I’m suggesting it would be practical. Easier coordination, better anchor managent, more ti together without the logistics of separate residences." Elara paused. "Also, I like having you around. The estate feels more alive with three of us."

"That’s – " Seria seed at a loss for words. "That’s a significant step."

"So was last night," Elara pointed out. "And you handled that beautifully. This is just the logical next phase."

Damien stayed quiet, letting them work through this themselves. But he watched Seria’s face, saw the conflict – wanting it but afraid to take up too much space, to presu too much.

"What about you?" Seria asked him directly. "Do you want living here?"

"Yes." No hesitation. "I want both of you here. Want this to be our space, not just mine. Want to wake up like this more often." He squeezed both of them gently. "But only if you’re comfortable with it. This is a big change."

Seria was quiet for a long mont. Then: "I’ll need to give notice on my apartnt. Arrange for my things to be moved. Coordinate with the guard headquarters about my new address – "

"So that’s a yes?" Elara’s voice was hopeful.

"That’s a yes." Seria smiled. "Though I’m claiming one of the guest rooms as my own space. I need sowhere to retreat when you two are being insufferable."

"Deal." Elara leaned across Damien to kiss Seria’s cheek. "Welco ho, Guard Commander."

[RELATIONSHIP MILESTONE: COHABITATION AGREED]

They eventually got up, though it took significant effort.

Breakfast was a chaotic affair with Margaret alternating between pleased satisfaction and pointed comnts about "finally getting the house properly lived in."

After breakfast, Elara had Church business to attend to, and Seria needed to coordinate with her guard units. They both kissed Damien goodbye – Elara’s kiss familiar and warm, Seria’s still slightly uncertain but growing more confident.

"Don’t work too hard," Seria told him. "You have a tendency to forget basic needs when you’re alone."

"I’ll make sure he eats," Elara promised. "I’m back by midday."

They left together, already discussing logistics of Seria’s move, and Damien found himself alone in his study with a rare mont of quiet.

Ti to address sothing he’d been avoiding for three months.
