When Zhou Rui took the stage, Chai icen finally realized Zhou Rui's strength and popularity.
He signed up for two short track events, the 100 ters and 200 ters. The 200 ters was with Li Xiaonan, but not in the sa batch.
As soon as Zhou Rui started his warm-up exercises, people started screaming. Zhou Rui was one of those with great popularity, even the boys would howl a couple tis: "Brother Rui, go for it!"

When it was ti for Chai icen's event, she finally got up.
As soon as she stood, a bunch of male classmates asked considerately about her condition, making Chai icen feel awkward.
Chai icen stood at the starting line. She had just steadied herself when she heard a strange cheer from the spectator stand, almost tripping over from shock.
If she had fallen down, she'd have been accused of insurance fraud!
She turned to look, and saw Yang Ming from Class 3 holding a loudspeaker. He yelled "Sis i!" into it.
Then the whole class yelled "Aweso!"
Yang Ming yelled again "Sis i!"
The whole class followed with "You will win!"
Chai icen smiled without minding it, and continued preparing. From the corner of her eye she noticed two girls watching her.
She moved back a little to see their number bibs were from the Rocket Class. Looking again at the two girls, she saw they had resud normal.
But Chai icen was old enough to see through these young girls' thoughts.
The taller the tree, the more wind it attracted. Too much showiness often wasn't good.
After getting ready she kept an extra eye out, not daring to slack off after the gunshot.
The 400m wasn't like the 800m, Chai icen had to sprint at full speed from the start to have a chance.
At the curve, the girl in the inner lane suddenly fell down, right in Chai icen's lane.
Chai icen approached quickly, and didn't hesitate when she reached the girl. She simply jumped over her, without slowing down at all, and took first place again.
She had just stopped when she saw Zhou Rui striding over, pointing at the fallen girl and yelling, "Were you trying to trip her just now, huh?"
The girl shuddered in fear under Zhou Rui's yelling, and imdiately shook her head to deny it.
The girls next to her quickly explained, "Zhou Rui, why are you yelling? No one wants to fall."
"Luckily she didn't hinder your classmate's competition."
"If she had tripped you and made you fall because of her, I'd have pulled all her hair out." Zhou Rui said angrily after that.
Chai icen went to Zhou Rui's side and poked him.
Zhou Rui turned his head to see Chai icen making a circle with her hand above her head. Zhou Rui asked, "What's wrong?"
"With great power cos great responsibility. I have a long way to go."
Zhou Rui looked at Chai icen for a while, his expression finally softening a little.
"Speak nicely, don't yell at girls. Yelling makes you unjustified even if you're right." Chai icen advised when she saw Zhou Rui wasn't as angry.
"I got angry seeing soone sche against you."
"I'm angry too, but now's not the ti to make a scene, the whole school is watching. Do you want to dance the chicken dinner dance?"

"Just let it go like this?" The other girl asked, seeming upset for Chai icen too.
"How could that be possible?" Chai icen stroked her chin, then smiled sinisterly.
Chai icen and Zhuo Wenqian stood at the corner of the stairwell, keeping watch outside. When they saw Zhao Bingqing going upstairs, they imdiately went out.
Chai icen had soone notify Zhao Bingqing, telling her a teacher asked her to help grade papers.
While Zhao Bingqing was going upstairs, Zhuo Wenqian and Chai icen quickly ran over.
As they caught up to Zhao Bingqing, Chai icen suddenly seed to stumble and her body swayed to the side.
Zhao Bingqing had been hurrying upstairs, and was startled into stepping back.
Just as Chai icen pretended to fall down, she grabbed Zhao Bingqing's ankle and pulled hard, causing her to fall down several steps.
Zhao Bingqing finally steadied herself with difficulty, and looked up in embarrassnt to see Chai icen sitting on the stairs watching her. It wasn't an accident at all, but intentional.
"Chai icen! What are you doing?" Zhao Bingqing yelled loudly.
"Payback." Chai icen answered righteously, "Just like what you wanted to do to , to let you experience what would have happened to if you succeeded."
"What if I had fallen down these stairs?" Zhao Bingqing said in fright as she held the railing.
Her knees should be scraped, with specks of blood visible on her pants legs. The pain made her face twist.
"I ca over when you had only climbed a few steps, and Wenqian was waiting below too."
"You're dead!"
"I should be asking you, when you ca to sabotage , did you think you might die? I'm just doing to you what you wanted to do to ."
Zhao Bingqing gripped the railing and stood up, glaring at Chai icen, "Do you know who my family is? I'll make sure you won't get away with this."
Chai icen wasn't afraid of this at all: "Do you know who my unc... I an who my uncle is? He's actually nothing much, just rich."
After speaking, Chai icen laughed herself.
Hou Ranci was her backer. If there was trouble he could bail her out!

Zhao Bingqing pursed her lips without speaking, sowhat frightened. The girl before her had an oppressive aura making Zhao Bingqing not dare provoke her. Just one look from Chai icen seed to freeze all of Zhao Bingqing's arrogance.
Chai icen pinched Zhao Bingqing's face, her eyes a bit icy, "I have a bad temper. If I wasn't here to set an example for Zhou Rui, I could split your face open right now."
It was sports day so there weren't many students in the teaching building.

The last event was the teachers' segnt. Zhou Rui went to submit an act then.
