If the visitors had previously shown no interest in Hoppip, the situation was entirely different for the Grassy Terrain Hoppip, especially when all Hoppip possessed this move.

Yuga was not foolish; the more people were interested in Hoppip, the less advantageous the situation would be for him.

"I wonder, Mr. Shimizu, how do you intend to exchange your Hoppip?"

To be honest, Yuga couldn't accurately gauge the value of these Hoppip, all of them possessing Grassy Terrain.

"My Hoppip are intended for an exchange with your Rufflet, so the value of Rufflet should be determined by your side, of course."

Yuga kicked the ball back, only willing to na a price after probing the other's bottom line.

"How about trading one Rufflet for two Hoppip?"

Yuga contemplated for a mont before responding.

"Mr. Abel, you're lacking sincerity in your offer. While the value of regular Hoppip may indeed be only half of a Rufflet, our situation is different."

"Yes, this gentleman is quite skilled at bargaining. Yuga, are you interested in our Pokémon? Let's trade one-on-one with you!"

Momiji continued to play along on the side.

"Mr. Shimizu, are you looking to exchange for Flying-type Pokémon? How about a Skarmory? We'll trade one-on-one with you."

"Our Mantyke is also a good option..."

...

People from other Day Cares couldn't resist joining the competition.

Hoppip with Grassy Terrain move were rare, and if it were just one or two, that would be one thing, but with so many appearing simultaneously, it was truly a rare opportunity. Missing out on this chance would an no more opportunities.

Seeing the growing number of competitors around, Abel's expression grew increasingly grim.

As a breeder specializing in Flying-type Pokémon, encountering high potential breeding Pokémon like Grassy Terrain Hoppip was sothing Abel couldn't pass up. Missing this opportunity would an missing out on a rare find.

Seeing Abel's increasingly serious expression, Yuga silently chuckled to himself.

Luckily, he hadn't revealed that all his Hoppip had Grassy Terrain before. Otherwise, he wouldn't have achieved this effect now.

After so negotiations, Flying Sky Day Care eventually agreed to a one-to-one trade, using Rufflet and YoYo Day Care's Hoppip.

With his goal achieved, Yuga finally breathed a sigh of relief.

In truth, he hadn't taken advantage of Flying Sky Day Care. Given the value of Hoppip, trading one-for-one for Rufflet was a fair deal for both parties. Abel wasn't foolish; if it had been an unfair trade, he wouldn't have agreed.

Yuga exchanged fifteen Hoppip for fifteen Rufflet from Flying Sky Day Care, and the transaction was officially certified by representatives from the Breeder's Association.

After obtaining Rufflet, Yuga didn't continue to exchange for other Pokémon. While he had a decent number of Hoppip, it wasn't so many that he could trade them indiscriminately.

Seeing Yuga's cheerful expression after obtaining Rufflet, Momiji couldn't help but say, "Did I just help you a bit?"

"Sure... sure, you did. What do you want in return?"

Yuga looked at her expression and wondered what kind crooked idea she had in mind.

"What's with that expression? I helped you, shouldn't you thank ?"

Momiji said, sounding a bit annoyed.

Yuga responded, "So are we friends or not?"

"Well, yes, what's the matter?"

Momiji was puzzled by his question.

"So many people helped just now, and they didn't ask for my thanks! How co my friend is worse than them?"

Momiji was quite annoyed. "How can it be the sa? They don't know the situation!"

Yuga shrugged. "In terms of results, it's the sa."

Momiji pointed at Yuga in exasperation. "You... you're sothing else!" With that, she huffily walked away.

Momiji had her eye on a Kalos Day Care's Skiddo , but she hadn't reached an agreent with them yet. Her anger was feigned; she had negotiations to attend to.

Watching Momiji walk away, Yuga smiled and shook his head, only to realize that Siebold was standing not far away, looking at him with a smile.

"Mr. Siebold, how co you're here?" Yuga asked in surprise.

Siebold smiled and said, "What? Not happy to see ?"

"Of course not, I'm delighted to see you! I just didn't expect you to co," Yuga replied.

Although Yuga's ti spent with Siebold was brief, he had a very favorable impression of him. Generally speaking, anyone who held the position of Elite Four in various regional leagues had to have a decent character. Apart from Cecilia's terrible father, all the Elite Four Yuga had t were nice people.

"I've been in Lumiose for the past few days, and my brother ntioned you quite a bit. If he praises you so much, I couldn't help but co see for myself."

Brother?

Yuga was montarily stunned, then widened his eyes in disbelief.

"Could it be? Your brother..."

Siebold nodded. "That's right, my dear brother."

Yuga had heard from Mr. Tsuruta that he had a genius Trainer brother, but he never imagined it would be Mr. Siebold. It was truly a remarkable coincidence.

"My brother told that you've bred a Butterfly King."

Like Mr. Tsuruta, Siebold had grown up hearing the story of the Butterfly King from their father. However, unlike his brother, he had always treated that story as just that – a story to listen to and forget about. He had never imagined that soone would actually breed the legendary creature.

Yuga replied, "Yes, that's true, but it was also a matter of fortunate circumstances."

Siebold shook his head and said, "Whether it's fortunate or coincidental doesn't matter. If you managed to breed it, it's a testant to your skill. Can I see your Butterfly King?"

He was equally curious about the Butterfly King that had always been on his father and brother's minds.

"Of course."

Yuga smiled and nodded before releasing his Vivillon.

As soon as Vivillon erged from its Poké Ball, it perched on Yuga's head.

"It's truly a unique Vivillon."

As a native of Kalos and influenced by his father and brother's passion for Vivillon, Siebold had developed a keen eye for them.

Rembering Vivillon's performance during the Gym Challenge, he couldn't help but admire its progress. Back then, while Vivillon was impressive, it hadn't reached a point where it turned heads.

Now, feeling the aura emanating from Vivillon, it possessed all the qualities of a true powerhouse.

"Take good care of it," he advised Yuga.

"By the way, do you happen to know about the rumor that there will be Pokémon with indigo potential appearing at this Conference?"

Siebold suddenly changed the topic, sharing so news with Yuga.

"Indigo potential Pokémon? Is this news true?" Yuga was astonished. If this news were accurate, it would explain why the bosses of the Five Giants had all appeared at the Conference's opening ceremony.

He had considered asking Momiji about it before, but she hadn't revealed anything, and he didn't want to press further. Now, though...

"It should be true. I don't have all the details. I happened to co across this information, but the news has been tightly sealed by the Five Giant Day Cares. Otherwise, the situation wouldn't be so calm right now."

Yuga agreed with this assessnt. Pokémon with blue potential were already considered suitable for use by Elite Four. Under normal circumstances, no Day Care would sell Pokémon of that caliber, let alone ones with indigo potential, which could rival the ace Pokémon of Champion level Trainers.
