As the young man, Harrold, had stated, he was the first person to fail in taking a Pokémon from YoYo Day Care since they began their high-grade Pokémon limited purchase service. However, the reason he couldn't take the Pokémon wasn't due to YoYo Day Care but rather his own actions.

Harrold was the trainer who had successfully reserved a green potential Grass-type Pokémon for this month. The Grass-type Pokémon being offered by YoYo Day Care this month was the Cacnea, which had spent almost a week with Harrold.

YoYo Day Care had a rule that all trainers who obtained the right to purchase a Pokémon needed to personally spend a month with the Pokémon they intended to acquire. Only when the Pokémon acknowledged them could they take it away, finalizing the transaction with YoYo Day Care.

This rule was clearly stated on YoYo Day Care's official website and in the agreents signed by custors who visited. By coming to YoYo Day Care, it was assud that custors had agreed to these terms.

While Yuga sold Pokémon, he also aid to find reliable trainers for them. He didn't expect them to achieve great feats, but at the very least, he wanted them to receive gentle treatnt. However, low-grade Pokémon couldn't achieve this yet.

High-grade Pokémon were precious, and trainers were willing to spend a month to bond with them. However, if the sa rule applied to low-grade Pokémon, custors might not be as interested. After all, low-grade Pokémon were widely available in various Day Care and didn't warrant such effort.

Yuga currently didn't have a good solution to this problem. Suzuki Koen was now refusing to let Harrold take the Cacnea, even before the one-month period had passed. It was clear that the Cacnea didn't want to continue staying with Harrold.

Watching the agitated Harrold, Yuga explained, "We don't an to disrespect you, but since you've obtained the right to purchase a Pokémon, you should have already signed an agreent with the Day Care. We have the right to suspend our transaction."

Harrold naturally understood that Yuga was right, but he felt deeply resentful. Why should his transaction be suspended? If others found out, he'd be utterly humiliated!

"Why? Why? If you don't give a satisfactory explanation today, I won't let this go!" Harrold was furious.

Seeing Harrold causing a commotion in the store, Yuga felt annoyed, but he politely said, "Our agreent is quite clear. If we suspend our transaction, it ans the Pokémon itself doesn't want to leave with you. Please, keep it down; you're disturbing our business."

Pokémon sold by YoYo Day Care were taught from birth that they would be assigned trainers in the future. They were also taught that if they had any issues with the assigned trainers, they could voice their concerns.

This was why Pokémon parents trusted Yuga to arrange for their children. Of course, they didn't oppose their offspring having trainers.

Harrold completely ignored Yuga's advice and continued to shout, "Doesn't want to stay with ? Why? Isn't it just an excuse because you guys look down on ? Don't use these excuses to deceive ! If you don't tell the reason today, we're not finished!"

"Do you really want to announce the reason in front of everyone?" Yuga asked.

When Pokémon refused to accompany trainers, it was usually because the trainers had mistreated them. Yuga couldn't think of any other reason. And trainers who mistreated Pokémon were highly disliked; the concept of "harmonious coexistence between humans and Pokémon" had been deeply ingrained by the Pokémon League.

"Announce it, you must announce it! Today, I want to see what excuses you can co up with," Harrold replied defiantly.

Yuga said, "Very well, please wait a mont."

Yuga then whispered a few words to Wigglytuff beside him, and Wigglytuff subsequently walked away.

At this mont, the attention of everyone in the store was drawn to Harrold's loud voice, and even several onlookers had gathered at the entrance.

Just as Harrold was acting smug, the voice of Chatot rang out.

"Darlings, is there sothing that requires my assistance?" Chatot asked.

"A talking Chatot?" Harrold exclaid.

Seeing Chatot perched on Yuga's shoulder, Harrold's heart sank, sensing that sothing was wrong.

"What's the matter? Haven't you seen a dashing Chatot like before? You bumpkin!" Chatot gave Harrold a disdainful look.

Laughter erupted from the onlookers in the store upon hearing Chatot's words. It wasn't a novelty for Chatot to speak in Verdanturf Town; after all, Chatot often road around the town, and everyone knew it.

"You... You... You..." Harrold stamred, his face turning bright red. He pointed at Chatot, struggling to form a coherent sentence.

Chatot continued to speak, unfazed by the commotion. "So, dear, is there sothing you need to do for you today?"

After the Cacnea arrived next to Yuga, he crouched down and softly asked it, "Cacnea, do you want to choose this person as your trainer?"

The Cacnea imdiately welled up with tears and shook its head vigorously, indicating that it did not want to.

"You see? It's genuinely that the Cacnea doesn't want to," Yuga stood up and said to Harrold.

"Nonsense! I bought it with my money. How can it refuse? Does it have the right to refuse? There must be a reason!" Harrold's voice grew even louder, and he occasionally glanced at the Chatot perched on Yuga's shoulder.

However, Yuga could sense a hidden anger in Harrold's increasingly loud voice, so he reluctantly said, "Since you want a reason so badly, we'll give you one. Chatot! Ask the Cacnea why it doesn't want to choose this custor as its trainer."

Yuga could understand Pokémon language to so extent, but he couldn't provide evidence, so it lacked credibility.

Yuga's words made Harrold panic, and his eyes started darting around. He never expected that there would be a talking Chatot here.

"Alright, watch ." Chatot flew up from Yuga's shoulder and landed in front of the Cacnea. The two Pokémon began chattering.

After a while, Chatot flew up angrily, pointed its wing at Harrold, and scolded, "You despicable scoundrel! How dare you mistreat the Cacnea! The Cacnea says you secretly pluck its spines every ti you visit!"

The spines on the Cacnea's body were essential, similar to their organs. They were crucial for processes like photosynthesis and maintaining their body's water content. Removing these spines would weaken the Cacnea, especially for young ones, which might even lead to their death.

"You're talking nonsense; I've never done such a thing!" Harrold's face turned pale upon hearing Chatot's words, and he hurriedly denied it. But anyone with discerning eyes could tell he was lying from his expression.

"You're trying to slander because you don't want to sell the Pokémon. Don't try to tarnish my reputation! I won't accept this!" Harrold protested.

"Can you explain to us then? Do you think we did this ourselves? We have no reason to treat our own Pokémon this way. In these past few days, aside from you, the Cacnea hasn't interacted with anyone else," Yuga said. He then turned the Cacnea around to reveal the bald area on its back.

Seeing the Cacnea's condition, the onlookers in the store began to voice their anger.

"Oh my! This is too much!"

"So cruel, it's unbearable to watch."

"I didn't expect soone who looks decent to have such a dark heart!"

"He's really a bad guy!"

Facing the condemnation of the crowd, Harrold's face changed color, and he attempted to deny the accusations. However, he realized he couldn't co up with a convincing defense.

"You... you... you're slandering !"

Panicking, Harrold pointed at Yuga.

Yuga replied, "Regardless of whether I'm slandering you or not, we have an agreent, and we have the right to refuse the transaction with you."

"Yes, don't hand the Cacnea over to such a heartless guy!"

"Kick him out; he doesn't deserve to stay here! This scoundrel!"

"Get out! Get out!"

...

As everyone joined in the condemnation, Harrold, with a red face, fled from the store. The situation was too overwhelming for anyone, even those with thick skin.

"You... you... you wait for !" He shouted as he ran out.

Watching Harrold run away, Yuga shook his head in resignation.

There are always inexplicable people in the world.

Afterward, Yuga had Suzuki Koen report the incident to Officer Jenny. Senselessly mistreating Pokémon was against the law, especially when it involved Pokémon carefully nurtured by the Day Care.
