The Sawsbuck didn't expect to be attacked by Yuga and was caught off guard by Volcarona's assault.

It tried to say sothing to Yuga after getting back on its feet but was once again hit by a Flathrower.

As a Grass-type Pokémon, being hit by two consecutive flas was excruciatingly painful, and its eyes instantly turned red.

It was an Elite level Pokémon, and being attacked like this was a major blow to its pride.

In its current state of anger and confusion, it had forgotten why it had sought Yuga out in the first place.

The Sawsbuck's body started emitting a golden aura, as if it had donned a suit of golden armor, and it charged relentlessly towards Volcarona.

Seeing this, Volcarona effortlessly ascended into the sky, using its three pairs of fiery wings. The Sawsbuck's reckless Wild Charge missed, causing it to crash into a tree, snapping it in half at the point of impact, and leaving the tree scorched due to the electric shock.

With Volcarona now airborne, the Sawsbuck spat out green seeds at it.

However, the agile Fire Moth easily dodged the Bullet Seeds launched by the Sawsbuck and responded with a Flathrower.

Round after round, the Sawsbuck relentlessly used Bullet Seeds against Volcarona but failed to land a single hit. Instead, it repeatedly suffered burns from Volcarona's flas.

Watching the Sawsbuck's relentless determination, Yuga couldn't help but wonder if there was sothing wrong with its mind.

Even after being burned so many tis, the Sawsbuck continued to seek confrontation, leaving Yuga puzzled.

After a few rounds, Volcarona unleashed a move called Fiery Dance. The spinning crimson flas not only incinerated the Bullet Seeds but also continued to burn towards the Sawsbuck.

The Sawsbuck leaped to avoid the spinning ring of flas, but it was imdiately t with a massive Fire Blast.

The Sawsbuck was knocked to the ground and lost consciousness.

As a Grass-type Pokémon, after enduring nurous Fire-type attacks, it was impossible for the Sawsbuck to withstand another powerful explosion, especially from another Elite level Pokémon.

In its last monts of consciousness, the Sawsbuck wondered, "Why is this happening to ? I just wanted to ask for help. Why am I being burned like this for no reason?"

Watching the scorched Sawsbuck, Yuga retrieved a Poké Ball from his bag and captured it.

Unfortunately, the Sawsbuck didn't know that Yuga could understand Pokémon language; otherwise, it would not have encountered such a situation if it had spoken to Yuga as soon as it appeared.

Picking up the Poké Ball containing the Sawsbuck and storing it in his system's backpack, Yuga then recalled Volcarona with another Poké Ball before continuing toward their destination with his Bellossom.

anwhile, Sora, Christine, and Yuga had split up upon entering the inner area, and they were soon attacked by a large horde of Venipedes and Whirlipede.

Due to the overwhelming number of Pokémon attacking them, Sora and Christine were forced apart.

Sora, accompanied by his Bellossom, had just shaken off pursuit from the Venipedes and Whirlipede when he encountered a rampaging Krookodile that was wreaking havoc on the surrounding trees.

The Krookodile, upon noticing Sora and Bellossom, imdiately charged towards them. After only a few rounds of battle, Sora's Bellossom was defeated.

Recalling his Bellossom, Sora initially tried to avoid the Krookodile. However, it seed determined to pursue him relentlessly.

In a desperate situation, Sora had no choice but to release his Ninetales and engage in battle with the Krookodile.

Sora could tell that the Krookodile was a pseudo-Elite level Pokémon, but it appeared to be injured and disoriented. He believed he had a chance to defeat it.

Instead of being entangled by this Krookodile, he decided to give it his all.

His Ninetales activated its ability Drought upon entering the battle, and the sun's rays instantly intensified. The scorching heat aggravated the already agitated Krookodile, and it charged recklessly towards Sora and Ninetales.

Ninetales swiftly unleashed a powerful move, Fire Blast, directly at the Krookodile's face. However, the Krookodile didn't even attempt to dodge; it collided with the Fire Blast and shattered it.

The Krookodile's charging speed was astonishing. Despite the Fire Blast's obstruction, Ninetales narrowly avoided being hit, but a nearby tree was pulverized upon impact. Countless green leaves scattered in all directions, and a few Pidove perched in the tree hastily took flight.

Imdiately after evading the Krookodile's assault, Ninetales used a Grass-type move, Solar Beam. A bright and robust beam of light struck the Krookodile directly.

Solar Beam, which didn't require charging, was exceptionally fast. The Krookodile, with its eyes inflad, was hit directly. With its pre-existing injuries, the attack only worsened its condition.

This Krookodile, a pseudo-Elite level Pokémon, displayed incredible resilience. Most Pokémon, after suffering such severe injuries and being struck by a Grass-type move that countered them, would have been rendered unable to battle. However, this Krookodile managed to stand up.

But at this point, the Krookodile's eyes gradually cleared, surprising Sora. The Krookodile had sohow erged from its state of confusion.

The Krookodile moved its injured body, realizing it was in pain all over. A bewildered expression appeared in its eyes, and upon seeing Sora and Ninetales not too far away, it stared at them for quite so ti.

The Krookodile had wanted to move forward but, due to its severe injuries, it stumbled and fell. Sora hurriedly approached, intending to help it.

However, as Sora drew closer, the Krookodile beca cautious, watching him closely. Sora had no choice but to step back a few paces.

Sora: "I an no harm; I just want to help you. You appear to be severely injured."

Sora thought that if this Krookodile hadn't been attacking him recklessly, he would have left. But seeing how injured it was, he decided to help.

The Krookodile continued to eye Sora for a while, as if trying to read him. Eventually, it nodded in agreent to let Sora assist since it couldn't move.

Sora helped the Krookodile sit under a tree and took out so dicine from his bag to tend to its wounds.

As Sora carefully tended to its injuries, the Krookodile's gaze softened. Its mories only extended to the mont it entered a state of confusion during practicing Outrage, and it couldn't rember anything else.

Despite having experienced injuries from practicing Outrage before, this was the first ti soone had treated its wounds with such gentleness.

anwhile, Christine, after being separated from Sora, rushed towards the location of the underground world with her Cacturne. She believed that if Sora was safe and sound, he would eventually et her there.
