These two Pokémon were well aware of type advantages and didn't use Ground type moves against Vivillon and Chicho, the first onw had a Flying type and the second one had Levitate ability. So, they opted for Ice type moves, exploiting Vivillon's vulnerability towards Ice-type moves.

In response, Chicho swiftly moved in front of Vivillon as soon as she noticed the incoming Ice-type beams. Countless transparent Light Screen instantly converged like shimring fish scales, dividing the entire battle room into two sections. Vivillon and Chicho were on one side, while Nidoking and Nidoqueen were on the other.

The quality of the Light Screens used by Vivillon and Sylveon in their battles paled in comparison to the professional-grade Light Screens created by Chicho. Upon witnessing this scene, Vivillon couldn't help but admire Chicho's incredible control. While Vivillon was also capable of creating Light Screens, she understood the level of mastery required for the situation at hand.

Nidoking and Nidoqueen's double Ice Beam attacks were easily blocked by Chicho's Light Screens and dissipated harmlessly.

Being Poison-type Pokémon, Nidoking and Nidoqueen were weak to Psychic-type moves. Although they managed to raise their arms to block Vivillon's psychic attack, they couldn't escape unscathed. The injuries were unavoidable.

Frustrated by their failed ranged attacks, Nidoking and Nidoqueen roared and lifted their sturdy hind legs, charging towards Vivillon and Chicho for a physical confrontation.

While the Electro Web created by Vivillon couldn't harm the Ground-type Nidoking and Nidoqueen, they effectively restricted their movents.

Electric-type Pokémon typically produced nets composed of pure Electric-type energy. In contrast, Bug-type Pokémon like Vivillon Electro Web with small amounts of Electric-type energy attached to their own silk threads. While the damage inflicted by Bug-type Pokémon's nets was not as potent as those created by Electric-type Pokémon, they could serve unique purposes in certain situations.

Electro Web from Electric-type Pokémon simply dissipated upon contact with Ground-type Pokémon. In contrast, Bug-type Pokémon's nets could stick to Ground-types, even though the Electric-type energy dissipated. In such cases, the function of Bug-type nets resembled that of Sticky Web.

It's worth noting that the Electro Web move was a technique rarely learned by any Pokémon outside the Electric and Bug types.
