I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon Chapter 352: Bloodshed
While taking advantage of the ti for the underground entrance to ventilate, Yuga tended to his own injuries.
He seed to have internal injuries, as there were bruises on his body, but no visible external wounds. However, whenever he took a deep breath or made sudden movents, he felt sharp throbs of pain in his chest.
Yuga's system backpack didn't contain any dication for treating internal injuries, so he took a few painkillers to temporarily alleviate the pain.
Once he felt sowhat better, Yuga prepared to explore the underground chamber.
Before entering, Yuga released his Vivillon.
Aside from Charmander and Noctowl, Vivillon was the only Pokémon left in his possession that was still in good condition.
As for the recently subdued Natus and Cloyster, Yuga didn't have that level of trust with them yet and didn't want to rely on them for safety.
Standing at the entrance of the underground chamber, Yuga said to Vivillon, "Vivillon, use Gust."
Although the area had been ventilated for quite so ti, Yuga still sensed the nauseating stench emanating from below.
He wondered what purpose such a place could serve.
After Vivillon created a Gust, Yuga felt a noticeable improvent in air quality. His instincts told him that whatever lay below was likely not a pleasant sight, so he ntally prepared himself for the worst.
The passageway was quite spacious, and with the sunlight streaming in from outside, the entrance area was well-lit. Yuga descended the stairs alongside Vivillon.
However, as soon as he went a few steps down, he was confronted by a swarm of Spinarak blocking his path, surrounding him.
These Spinarak were of such low level strength and potential that Vivillon's Gust easily blew them away, leaving them dazed on the ground.
These were rather unimpressive Pokémon in terms of strength and potential, so Yuga didn't pay them much attention. He simply stepped over them and continued deeper into the underground chamber.
Gradually, he noticed faint bloodstains on the ground. The farther he progressed, the more abundant the bloodstains beca. It explained the putrid odor in the air.
At a bend in the passageway, two Ariados suddenly charged at Yuga. Their single horns on their foreheads emitted a blinding glow as they rushed towards him.
Yuga was startled and instinctively stepped back, aggravating his injuries, which caused him considerable pain.
However, Vivillon reacted swiftly, using Protect to shield Yuga and then using Psychic to send the two Ariados flying back.
Despite the Ariados' crimson eyes and aggressive deanor, they seed to have lost all reason and appeared completely frenzied. Yuga wondered what Motohara had done to them.
Yuga wasted no ti and ended the lives of the two Ariados. Unlike the Spinarak at the entrance, these Ariados had already lost their sanity, displaying intense aggression.
After briefly observing their lifeless bodies, Yuga took a deep breath and continued deeper into the underground chamber.
Once he turned the corner, Yuga finally arrived in the heart of the underground chamber.
The contents of the chamber lay exposed before him.
The underground chamber had been ticulously constructed and was surprisingly spacious. However, it was now densely packed with various items.
A bright light hung from the ceiling, illuminating the entire chamber, which only added to Yuga's eerie feeling about the place.
The walls were covered in dried bloodstains, obscuring their original colors.
One wall displayed various limbs and body parts of Pokémon, including the head of an Seviper, the abdon of a Ariados, the dual stingers of a Beedrill, the serpentine skin of an Arbok, and the flower crown of a Vileplu, among others.
So of the bloodstains were still fresh, dripping slowly with fresh blood.
In the center of the underground chamber stood a highly polished, unusually smooth, massive wooden table. However, it was also stained with blood and cluttered with an assortnt of blades and tools.
It resembled a surgical or experintal table.
At the center of the table lay a Golbat, dissected halfway through. Its wings and legs had been severed, leaving its body exposed, contorted in pain, with wide-open eyes.
Yuga noticed that all the dissected Pokémon had one common characteristic: they were all Poison-type Pokémon.
Besides this grueso sight, the chamber's corners were filled with iron cages, each containing Pokémon with blank expressions.
Ever since Yuga entered the chamber, they had been trembling in fear, hiding in the corners, too terrified to make a sound.
These Pokémon seed to have been captured and subjected to cruel experintation by Motohara, leaving them in miserable states.
After searching the chamber, Yuga finally found Motohara's experint records in a drawer of a table.
It turned out that Motohara had hidden here to conduct these experints.
The reason so many Poison-type Pokémon had been dissected was because Motohara was searching for a thod to elevate his peak pseudo-Elite level Nidoking to Elite level.
Advancing to Elite level was an extrely challenging task for Pokémon, requiring a combination of potential, accumulation, and insight. Otherwise, Elite level Pokémon would not be so rare.
Noctowl's swift breakthrough after improving its potential was not only due to Celebi's assistance but also because it had spent many years in that stage, accumulating and understanding the necessary factors.
However, Motohara's Nidoking had not spent much ti approaching the peak pseudo-Elite level, and both its accumulation and insight were insufficient. Hence, he had sought unconventional thods.
All these experints, focused on Poison-type Pokémon, had resulted in countless innocent Pokémon died under his blade.
Yuga also found a tal bucket filled with dark purple venom. The vile stench emanating from it was overpowering even from a distance.
Yuga couldn't contain himself and kicked over the bucket, causing the viscous purple venom to spill out, mixing with the fresh blood on the ground. It nearly made him vomit again.
However, as the venom flowed out completely, a fist-sized, spherical object slowly rolled out.
What is this?
The spherical object was covered in a thick layer of venom, making it unrecognizable. Yuga had to wipe away all the venom before he realized it was a Toxic Orb.
Yuga didn't understand Motohara's experint principles or why he had subrged a precious Toxic Orb in venom. Still, since it had been offered to him, there was no reason to waste it.
However, a Toxic Orb was best suited for Pokémon with the Poison Heal ability, which Yuga currently lacked. None of his five Gliscor in the Ecopark possessed the hidden ability Poison Heal.
Furthermore, Yuga rarely allowed his Gliscor to battle aside from training, so equipping them with a Toxic Orb would be sowhat redundant.
