After the vehicle was forced to a stop, Yuga and Masato Shirai imdiately led their team and Pokémon to surround it.

"Everyone in the vehicle, get out now, or we’ll take action," Masato Shirai shouted.

With a "clack," the door opened, and the two n stepped out of the vehicle, one after the other.

"We don’t know what this is about, gentlen," the older of the two feigned confusion, trying to bluff his way through.

Yuga and Masato Shirai remained silent, but Masato Shirai gave a glance to a nearby officer, who imdiately ran to the truck, opened the cargo hold, and began a thorough inspection.

Seeing this, the two n’s expressions changed. Dropping their act, they quickly reached for their Poké Balls, intending to lash out violently.

However, before they could even release their Pokémon, several Houndooms from Yuga’s side pounced, knocking the two to the ground. Their Poké Balls also flew out of their hands.

The officer returned from the inspection and reported, "Director, this is the very vehicle Mr. Morita reported missing."

Masato Shirai nodded. "Arrest them!"

Several officers quickly stepped forward and handcuffed the two n who were still pinned by the Houndooms.

Masato Shirai smiled and thanked Yuga. "Once again, it’s thanks to you, Gym Leader Shimizu."

Yuga shook his head. "Let’s hurry back. Otherwise, Mr. Morita might die of anxiety."

So the group brought the culprits back. When Mr. Morita saw his goods recovered, he was full of gratitude, repeatedly thanking Yuga and Masato Shirai.

Masato Shirai interrogated the two suspects and quickly learned the motive behind their cri.

The two n were bounty hunters, not particularly well-known, and they had hijacked the vehicle under soone else’s orders.

Mr. Morita’s Pokemon Day Care was small, and it had long been struggling under the pressure from competitors. However, after forming a partnership with YoYo Day Care and leveraging its reputation, the business had shown signs of revival.

But his competitor couldn’t tolerate that.

Mr. Morita’s Pokemon Day Care had been established by his great-grandfather and had been operating locally for nearly a century. It used to do well, but fell into decline during his father’s generation. Since Mr. Morita took over, he had barely managed to keep it afloat.

However, his great-grandfather had been a man of foresight. Regardless of the Pokemon Day Care’s future, the land it was built on was in a pri location and quite spacious.

That land was precisely why Mr. Morita had been targeted by his rival.

His competitor’s Pokemon Day Care had relocated to the area later. Thanks to savvy business tactics, their business was much more successful than Mr. Morita’s.

By continually suppressing Mr. Morita, they had nearly forced him to sell the breeding house. The rival’s ultimate goal was to acquire that piece of land for expansion.

Now that Mr. Morita’s business was showing signs of recovery, his rival couldn’t sit still any longer. Coincidentally, one of the two bounty hunters owed him a favor, which led to this robbery attempt.

After learning the true reason behind the robbery, Mr. Morita was furious and imdiately reported it to the authorities.

Yuga didn’t pay much attention to the follow-up events, but two days later, he received a thank-you gift from Mr. Morita.

Mr. Morita’s gift was a beautiful, fairly large stone. According to him, it had been left by his great-grandfather, who claid it was a teorite from outer space.

Since it was an heirloom from soone’s great-grandfather, Yuga initially didn’t want to accept it. After all, he hadn’t helped Mr. Morita for a reward. The robbery had happened in Verdanturf Town, so he had both the responsibility and obligation to help recover the stolen goods.

However, Mr. Morita insisted. The teorite, while pretty, served no real purpose for him and just took up space. He figured it was better to use it to build a good relationship with Yuga—after all, whether his Pokemon Day Care could continue to operate still depended heavily on YoYo Day Care.

In the end, Yuga had no choice but to accept the gift.

At first, Yuga didn’t think much of the stone—after all, he wasn’t Steven—so he casually tossed it over to wtwo for research.

However, several days later, Yuga discovered sothing in wtwo’s laboratory that left him utterly horrified—he found a Magearna in the lab.

Of course, this Magearna couldn’t move.

Originally, Yuga had just co by today because he had nothing else to do. Who would have thought he would see such a scene?

Lying on one of the lab’s operating tables was the Magearna Yuga had seen, and wtwo was in the process of assembling its limbs.

"You... what on earth are you doing?" Yuga pointed at the Magearna and asked.

wtwo explained, "I followed the two notebooks you gave and created this little guy."

Ever since it saw the Magearna at Zenith Academy for the first ti, wtwo had been fascinated by this mysterious chanical lifeform. Later, after receiving the two notebooks Yuga gave it—both of which clearly detailed the manufacturing process of Magearna—wtwo beca interested in building one itself.

Most of the more than one hundred million Yuga had spent on wtwo previously had actually gone toward purchasing the instrunts and materials required to build Magearna. It’s just that Yuga had only a limited understanding of wtwo’s experints, so he didn’t know about this matter at all.

However, the plan had eventually been shelved because the materials needed for Magearna’s body and skeleton were extrely special—ordinary materials simply wouldn’t suffice.

That was until a few days ago, when Yuga brought over that teorite.

Through testing, wtwo discovered that the teorite contained a type of material that perfectly matched the requirents for Magearna’s body and skeleton. After all, the materials used by Nikola to create Magearna originally were also extracted from a teorite he had discovered by chance.

So the entire teorite Yuga gave was used by wtwo to extract the necessary materials.

After listening to wtwo’s explanation, Yuga said helplessly, "This is such a huge deal—why didn’t you discuss it with in advance?"

wtwo replied indifferently, "Well, you know now, don’t you?"

Yuga was speechless. "How is that the sa thing!"

Seeing that wtwo didn’t respond, Yuga asked, "How far along are you now?"

As Yuga asked this question, wtwo had just finished assembling Magearna’s limbs. It looked up and said to Yuga, "Just missing the Soul-Heart!"

Saying this, wtwo walked over to another operating table, where a half-finished Soul-Heart was placed.

Thanks to the experience it had gained from dismantling the Soul-Heart of the Magearna from Zenith Academy, the process of creating this new Soul-Heart was progressing quite smoothly for wtwo.

The creation of the Soul-Heart required the use of Giant Rock Fragnts. wtwo had already used up the one Yuga had previously gifted it. Yuga noticed the round and smooth polished Giant Rock Fragnt on the operating table and couldn’t help but ask:

"You used up the Giant Rock Fragnt I gave you?"

wtwo nodded. "Could you maybe get another one?"

Giant Rock Fragnts were very beneficial to wtwo’s cultivation. Now that its original one had been used to make Magearna’s Soul-Heart, it could only humbly ask Yuga for another.

Yuga: ...

"Fine then..." Yuga thought it over and ultimately agreed. "But after this Magearna is completed, it belongs to , right?"

wtwo nodded. "Of course. The materials used to make it were all yours, so naturally it’s yours."

wtwo knew Yuga was a very reliable person, so it felt perfectly at ease entrusting the newly created Magearna to him.

"Alright then, I’ll give you another Giant Rock Fragnt later," Yuga said with satisfaction. The Giant Rock Fragnt he had originally obtained was a very large piece, so it wasn’t a big deal to chip off a little for wtwo.

After receiving Yuga’s confirmation, even though wtwo usually had a cold personality, it couldn’t help but reveal a smile.

After chatting idly with Yuga for a while, wtwo got busy again.

Next, what wtwo needed to do was to draw the Mind Patterns onto the teorite fragnt using special materials.

This pattern was invented by Nikola himself. It could help Magearna’s Soul-Heart and body form a special energy circuit, and it was also one of the fundantal bases that allowed Magearna to be born with a soul within its chanical body.

wtwo was extrely careful while engraving, because even the slightest error in the Mind Pattern would render the teorite fragnt—painstakingly polished to perfection—completely useless.

Moreover, the materials used to engrave the Mind Patterns were extrely rare and expensive; Yuga had spent a lot of money on them!

Before beginning the actual engraving, wtwo had simulated the process countless tis using other materials, just to ensure there would be no mistakes when it finally worked on the real piece.

Fortunately, wtwo was a powerful Psychic-type Pokémon. Its imnse psychic power allowed it to carry out all kinds of intricate operations, so no accidents occurred during the engraving of the Mind Patterns.

While wtwo was engraving the Mind Patterns, Yuga didn’t leave the lab. Instead, he sat quietly to the side, not daring to make a single sound for fear of disturbing wtwo.

Ti passed unnoticed. wtwo maintained absolute focus during the engraving process, and even Yuga, just watching, was on edge the whole ti.

Once the engraving was finished, Yuga looked at the ti and realized it was already past 6 PM. That ant wtwo had worked intensely for four straight hours without taking a break.

"It’s finally done!"

wtwo let out a sigh of relief and raised its hand to wipe the sweat from its forehead, clearly feeling ntally fatigued.

"Is it really finished?" Yuga asked curiously.

"Yeah," wtwo nodded, "the final step is complete."

As it spoke, it picked up the teorite fragnt etched with the Mind Pattern, inserted it into the Soul-Heart shell, and after another series of operations, the complete Soul-Heart was finished.

"Whether it succeeds or not all depends on this final step!"

The final step referred to installing the Soul-Heart into Magearna’s body.

wtwo carried the Soul-Heart over to the console where Magearna’s body was placed and installed it into Magearna’s chest.

"Have Florges use Fairy Aura to try and awaken it."

When wtwo said this, its voice trembled slightly, showing just how nervous it was about this new life.

Yuga nodded, took out a Poké Ball and released Florges, then gave her so instructions.

Just as Florges was about to begin, wtwo suddenly spoke up to remind them: "Wait... prepare so Fairy Gems as backup, otherwise I’m worried there won’t be enough Fairy-type energy."

Thinking back to what happened the first ti Florges awakened the Magearna from Zenith Academy, Yuga found wtwo’s concern very reasonable. He quickly took out a pile of Fairy Gems from the system space.

A considerable portion of these Fairy Gems had been provided as compensation by Zenith Academy.

After placing the Fairy Gems evenly around Magearna, Yuga then said to Florges, "Alright, you can begin now."

"Florges~"

Florges stepped forward and activated Fairy Aura. A pink radiance began to shimr around her, and this glow spread toward Magearna’s body. Once it had covered her entirely, the light began to converge at the location of the Soul-Heart.

As the Fairy Aura began to gather around the Soul-Heart, the Fairy-type energy in the air also started flowing toward Magearna.

But the Fairy-type energy in the air was extrely thin. That’s when the Fairy Gems Yuga had prepared in advance ca into play—Magearna began absorbing the energy within the Fairy Gems without even trying.

Seeing this, both Yuga and wtwo let out a long sigh of relief. Thank goodness they had prepared the Fairy Gems ahead of ti—otherwise, there could have been trouble.

Magearna absorbed the Fairy-type energy at a very fast pace. Before long, more than half of the Fairy Gems had already been drained.

Once all the energy in the Fairy Gems had been fully absorbed, Magearna’s body suddenly erupted in a brilliant light.

When the glow faded, Yuga saw Magearna sit up from the operating platform, looking around at Yuga and wtwo with a bewildered expression.

Yuga said joyfully, "Magearna, welco to this world!"

"Magearna~"

Magearna tilted her head and tried to get off the operating platform, but her Soul-Heart had just ford a connection with her body and she wasn’t yet used to walking. As soon as she stepped down, she was about to fall.

Yuga quickly rushed forward to try and catch Magearna, but he hadn’t expected her to be that heavy. He got dragged down along with her and ended up taking a full tumble, rolling over once.

Clang!

Magearna’s whole body was made of tal, so the crash to the ground made quite a noise. Yuga was crushed under her and could only grimace in pain.

This little thing’s pretty heavy—maybe it can learn Heavy Slam?

Heh heh... just kidding. Magearna was indeed a bit heavy, but that was only in relation to her little over one-ter height. In fact, she weighed just under 200 pounds, so saying she could learn Heavy Slam was a bit of an exaggeration.

Seeing the situation, wtwo quickly used Psychic to lift Magearna up, but Magearna seed to understand that wtwo was the one who had created her. After she stood up, she ignored Yuga entirely and wobbled over to wtwo, hugging it tightly.

Yuga looked on, clearly feeling jealous! Hey, didn’t we agree she belongs to ?

But from a certain point of view, wtwo could indeed be considered Magearna’s father, so it was understandable that Magearna felt close to it.

Having just been born, Magearna was incredibly innocent and didn’t understand anything. When Yuga spoke to her, she didn’t know how to respond—she just let out so crackling sounds like a child, with no special aning behind them.

However, she was very clingy with wtwo. Whenever wtwo moved a little, she would wobble along behind it, barely able to walk straight.

wtwo really did act like an old father, carefully watching over Magearna while also taking the ti to teach her so basic knowledge.

After all, wtwo had also gone through a similar phase, so when it ca to teaching, it was actually doing a pretty decent job.
