The late-night Taizhou Mountain shone brilliantly.

From afar, it seed as if a band of light was draped over the vast mountain, sparkling like starlight.

The closer you got to the mountain’s peak, the more dazzling the starlight beca. At the foot and waist of the mountain, the stars there seed much dimr.

These are the entrances to domains on Taizhou Mountain. Though inconspicuous up close, from a distance, their glow is always visible in the darkness.

Even at night, while the domain entrances at the mountain’s foot and waist aren’t dazzling, they are much brighter than most areas of the mountain.

Places like Golden Wind Street and Blade Valley are the only ones that can compete with these domain entrances in the dark.

Just like this mont.

In the dark of night, Golden Wind Street was ablaze with lights, appearing like a cluster of firefly lights from afar, not catching much attention.

But if you were within it, you would find that Golden Wind Street stretches for hundreds of miles, crisscrossed by eight streets.

On both sides were undulating fragrant pavilions and towers.

So were magnificently luxurious, others understated yet refined, while others resembled old grass huts in remote mountainous villages.

The styles were myriad, seemingly incongruous, yet this was the style of Taizhou Mountain.

A style as accepting and inclusive as the sea.

No matter if they were demons, human races, barbarian clans, or other beings, they could all open a shop on this street, provided they had the approval of Golden Wind Street’s owner.

You could find shops selling anything.

So are serious, so are not.

Take, for example, the few shops closest to Blade Valley.

On their own, each shop seed unremarkable, but together, they appeared exceptionally odd.

Two of them were very proper taverns and inns, where passing cultivators often engaged in grand discussions, sharing experiences from within domains and secret realms, or recounting odd tales.

The other two shops were not as decent.

One was, of course, the Qin Building, owned by the fox demon clan.

Inside, there were fox demons, as well as mbers of the human or barbarian clans, well-suited to et the needs of various cultivators.

Another shop specialized in recovering stolen goods and corpses.

A black plaque with red letters hung at its entrance — "Yin Wind Building," exuding an eerie atmosphere, with a truly strange and sinister environnt.

People who frequented here were mostly dressed in black cloaks, appearing like unspeakable individuals, moving silently as if afraid of being noticed.

At this mont, two people hurriedly ca through Blade Valley.

One of them was dressed in black and wore a mask, heading straight to Yin Wind Building.

Jingle.

As the door opened, the copper bell hanging on the lintel shook and rang.

The crisp bell sound didn’t travel outside of Yin Wind Building but only resonated internally.

The man in black closed the shop door, not proceeding further inside, just surveying around.

Upon seeing the empty hall inside, with red candles lighting up both sides up to the deep-set, ancient dark brown counter, he spoke deeply:

"Human race, Great Power above the Fifth Divine Power Realm, three bodies."

As soon as the words fell, a silhouette abruptly appeared in the originally empty hall.

The silhouette was tall, slender, and likewise cloaked in black, wearing a faceless mask with strange black-on-white patterns that painted a bizarre smile.

The eyes on the mask seed lively, ambiguous, gazing at the visitor, speaking joyfully:

"Three Great Power bodies, distinguished guest, rare guest, please take a seat."

In the next mont, a quaint Taishi Chair appeared behind the man in black.

He hesitated before sitting down, unconsciously placing his hands on the armrests, indicating that he seldom experienced such treatnt before.

The peculiar figure wearing the faceless mask noticed this and hopped over step by step, tilting its head, scrutinizing him, speaking in a slightly urging tone:

"Take them out, take them out, let see which realm or sect these Great Powers belong to."

This ti, the man in black did not hesitate, patting his Storage Magic Device, placing the three corpses in the hall.

All three corpses wore black robes, their pale faces tinged with a hint of blood, suggesting they hadn’t died long ago.

One corpse was split in half down the middle.

The other two had their heads separated from their bodies.

"Oh?"

The tall, slender one with the faceless mask examined the three corpses, focusing on the bald monks on the cleaved body’s head.

"Buddhist, Vajra Temple’s Monk Shan Zhen? A rare Seventh Realm of Divine Power, not common, good goods, quite nice."

"The other two aren’t naless figures either, ’Wind and Thunder Stick’ and the progeny of an ancient ritual sect, both first-class rare commodities."

With a smirk, the tall, slender figure turned to the visitor, asking, "Did you kill them? No, with your strength, you couldn’t have done it."

"Tell the story? Found them in Blade Valley?"

The visitor nodded, directly stating, "Indeed, I didn’t kill them; it should be a young Sword Cultivator."

"These three followed him into Blade Valley during its berserk phase. After the frenzy ended, when we entered, we found their corpses."

"Snatching their corpses was quick work on my part, done with sharp eyes."

The tall, slender figure scratched his head, and the smile on the faceless mask seed to reveal a hint of contemplation.

"A young Sword Cultivator... Indeed, there’s recently been one who arrived on Golden Wind Street."

"Sword Cultivator Chen Yi? Hmm, yes, that’s the na."

"He just arrived on Golden Wind Street and killed the Five Ghosts of Magic Mountain. Unfortunately, he hit too hard, chopping them to pieces, leaving no value for recovery or reuse."
