*** Days Pass

Living with Evelina in a mansion was just as perfect as I’d imagined. No distractions, no annoying servants—just us, alone in a huge place that belonged entirely to us.

Even better, that strange thing from before hadn’t made a move at all. Everything was smooth sailing despite the chaos in the rest of the territory. Honestly, it was almost too peaceful.

Normally, I would’ve worried, but compared to before, there really wasn’t any reason to get paranoid.

The system could handle the mining company problem. As for the elves... well, that attack from Azrael and Corvus should be enough to make them think twice about trying anything else for the next few months, if I had to guess.

It was just the two of us and the work of rebuilding our half of this ss of a city.

"Five businesses have already been rebuilt."

Evelina said, leaning on my shoulder as we both looked out over the slightly busier outer district near our estate.

It wasn’t much, but we were finally earning revenue that didn’t rely on Evelina’s manipulation of the Head of Finances.

That reminded ... when I’d seen him yesterday, he’d definitely looked rough. I guessed Evelina wasn’t going easy on her dream manipulations.

"A bakery and a restaurant, using recipes from the chefs back ho. No one will be able to resist that."

The inner district was hard to break into, especially when it ca to trade and comrce. But if there was any business Evelina could try without spending a disgusting amount of money... it was food.

Everyone in the inner district was rich, after all. And as the rich do, they valued luxury—and what’s more luxurious than truly delicious food?

The D’Arclight na didn’t carry as much weight here, of course, but that didn’t matter as long as any passing inner district citizen could sll the food.

It didn’t take long for five families to start trading regularly with the businesses Evelina had rebuilt.

But that was only one of the things we’d done over the past few days.

*** Master Bedroom

Evelina sat on the edge of the bed, and I knelt in front of her, having just been reprimanded. Honestly, I deserved it; my excuse of "not having the right ti" wasn’t exactly valid for sothing this important.

After all this ti together, I had finally decided to show Evelina the dark magic book I’d been using for my power.

And... her reaction was definitely justified.

[Demonic Serpent]

A red serpent coiled around Evelina’s body as she wore a shoulderless red dress that clung to her curves. The serpent’s head rested on her shoulder, its tongue flicking against her bare skin.

"Y-You’re telling you had this information the entire ti?"

"Y-Yes..."

"And why didn’t you teach this earlier?"

"W-Well... I—"

Honestly, I didn’t have a proper excuse. The closest I had was that I’d wanted to impress her with my special dark magic more than anything, and after the emperor’s tomb and everything that followed, things had been moving by far too quickly.

She was already so strong that it never even occurred to to teach it to her sooner.

It was a disappointing blunder, sothing I couldn’t forgive myself for.

"I deserve the harshest punishnt, my lady!"

Evelina frowned, flicking my forehead as hard as she could.

"You do! Why didn’t you tell you had sothing like this the entire ti!?"

She crossed her arms.

I think this was the first ti she was this disappointed in , to be honest. All this ti, I did my duty as her pawn and lover quite carefully. It was... actually very thrilling to be treated like this...

"I say that... but you’re clearly going to enjoy every punishnt I give you, won’t you?" Evelina chuckled, giving a half-smile. "What am I going to do with you?"

"Well, you could try stepping on —"

"Out of the question, Cael... I said punishnt, not a reward."

Evelina clicked her tongue. This was one of those rare monts when I saw her completely at her wits’ end. No amount of D’Arclight family training and experience could have prepared her for sothing like this.

Thinking of a punishnt for her very obsessed boyfriend.

"I can’t believe this... I’m actually out of ideas..."

I swear I could hear the succubus laughing from inside her choker the mont she said those words. It was almost comical, seeing the ice princess and mastermind run out of ideas on how to punish soone.

And it’s not like she was a beginner at punishnt and torture, either.

"Well, there are also—"

"Also out of the question. I’d rather pick punishnts that don’t actually hurt you."

"You know what...? I give up. You’re getting off scot-free this ti."

"Are you sure you’re thinking hard enough?" I replied with a cheeky smile.

"You absolute degenerate..." Evelina smirked.

Without warning, she pounced on , slamming my back against the wooden floor with a loud thud as she straddled , her fingers already working at the fabric of her dress.

"Instead of a punishnt, I’ll just do sothing that makes feel good instead."

"But won’t I also feel good from this? You’re basically encouraging , y’know?"

"Do you want this or not?"

"Forget what I said, then."

[Demonic Transformation]

Horns sprouted from her head again, and her spaded tail slipped out from behind her. She guided it toward my lips, pressing it forward until the tip brushed against my tongue.

"It’s been a while since I transford. Feels good to let it all out again."

The tip of her tail tasted surprisingly delicious—and I didn’t even an it creepily. It was genuinely sweet, like so very expensive candy. I wasn’t sure if that was just normal succubus biology or sothing she’d altered just for this mont.

"I’m not letting you rest today," she said with a wicked grin. "Besides, I’m free the entire day anyway."

I could already feel her magic coiling around the organ beneath my pants.

"So just accept your punishnt like a good boy, okay?"
