1. Undercover Witch

Volu 1. The Non-Existent Undercover Witch

"Sign this contract, and you will beco apprentice witches. After passing the entrance exam, you can officially enroll in the Witch Academy and beco true witches."

At the front of the classroom, a mature young woman looked down at the new students of various races and spoke coldly.

ng Lian stared at the parchnt before him, feeling as though ten thousand alpacas were stampeding through his mind.

This was a Witch Contract. Once signed, he might actually beco a witch.

But he was a grown man. The thought of himself as a witch in black stockings with a full chest made ng Lian want to weep.

Why was he, a man, signing a Witch Contract at the Witch Academy?

It was purely his rotten luck.

Thirty thousand years ago, witch civilization rose to power and aggressively invaded other civilizations. Only the Milky Way remained unconquered.

To turn the tide of war, the Galactic Alliance decided to send a special agent undercover among the witches to steal classified intelligence.

And that unlucky soul was ng Lian.

When ng Lian received the mission, his face was covered in question marks.

How was he, a man, supposed to infiltrate the witches?

The witch civilization was a single-gender society with only females. Even reproduction required two witches together.

The Alliance sending him to infiltrate the witches was clearly sending him to his death.

Fortunately, witches had low birth rates. To increase their population, they established the Witch Academy to transform mbers of other races into witches.

To complete his mission, ng Lian had no choice but to enroll.

But now, ng Lian gripped the quill and stared at the Witch Contract. He looked left and right, but he simply could not bring himself to sign.

If he signed, he would have to say goodbye to his little brother.

That companion of twenty years had no rit perhaps, but surely it had endured hardship. How could he just abandon it?

The woman at the front did not care about any of this. Seeing that everyone else had signed, with only ng Lian remaining, displeasure flickered across her refined features. She crossed her arms and walked over to him.

"Student, why haven't you signed? Don't you want to enroll in the Witch Academy and beco one of us?"

The woman was Bai Wei, the horoom teacher of ng Lian's class.

Hearing her words, ng Lian sighed inwardly. Under Bai Wei's gaze, he signed his na on the Witch Contract.

Little brother, for the Alliance, rest in peace!

"Excellent. Since everyone has signed the Witch Contract, from this mont on, you are all apprentice witches."

Bai Wei nodded with satisfaction. She snapped her fingers, and the parchnt on the students' desks vanished instantly, leaving only a phone behind.

"This is the communication device the Witch Academy has prepared for you. It contains your credits, student number, dormitory number, and a map of the academy. Log into the campus app to access everything."

"Inside the phone is a ssaging app. Your account is your student number, and your password is the last six digits of your student number. Log in and join the class group first. I will post any future announcents there."

Bai Wei wrote a string of numbers on the blackboard. ng Lian used it to join the group, Class 3, Year 1. Soon, notification sounds filled the entire classroom, one after another.

"Everyone joined? Good. Next, let's discuss the entrance exam."

"Right now, you are only apprentice witches, not true witches. Only by passing the entrance exam will you beco genuine witches."

"As for the exam content, it is in the group files. Take a look. If you have questions, ssage privately."

"All right, ti is about to end. Class dismissed. You may move freely, but rember to stay within the new student area."

With that, Bai Wei left the classroom.

Only when Bai Wei's graceful figure disappeared from view did the suppressed classroom finally co alive.

ng Lian looked around and discovered that nearly every race was represented: dragons, elves, angels, zombies. It was practically a lting pot of species.

Quite a few were male, but the thought that these people would also beco delicate young won made ng Lian want to laugh.

He had spotted a massive Red Dragon tribesman. He simply could not imagine what that person would look like as a witch.

The new students in the classroom were all chatting. In an unfamiliar place, having a companion was better than being alone.

ng Lian had no interest in making friends. He was used to being alone. Having soone nearby would only feel strange.

Besides, his purpose here was not pure. He had co as an undercover agent. Keeping a low profile and avoiding attention was always the safer choice.

What concerned ng Lian, however, was the entrance exam Bai Wei had ntioned. He rubbed his chin and opened the group files.

The so-called entrance exam lasted only seven days with a single requirent: do everything possible to successfully beco a witch within those seven days.

ng Lian did not understand. What exactly did "beco a witch" an? Could it be that the Witch Contract they just signed was not enough to transform them?

He could not figure it out, so he set the matter aside and started browsing other group files to learn more about the Witch Academy.

Credits functioned as the academy's currency. With credits, one could buy anything desired within the Witch Academy.

The Witch Academy had a five-year curriculum. First-year students received nurous benefits, such as the academy providing a monthly allowance of two thousand credits. Students in their second year and above, however, likely had to earn credits themselves.

Having gained a basic understanding of the Witch Academy, ng Lian noticed that the classroom had mostly emptied. He stretched and prepared to explore the campus.

The new student area was quite large. In addition to a cafeteria, classrooms, and dormitory buildings, the most eye-catching feature was a comrcial street.

Shops lined both sides of the street, with various stalls crowded together, offering more sights than one could take in.

The comrcial street was bustling. Many beautiful and elegant senior witches were enthusiastically promoting their goods, while the new students, for so reason, were fighting to buy what the seniors offered.

What were they buying?

ng Lian found this puzzling. He stepped forward and saw that the new students were all buying Witch Potions. He glanced at a nearby advertisent board and instantly understood their frenzy.

"Witch Potion helps you successfully transform. Mom no longer has to worry about my entrance exam!"

"Junior, buy one. If you don't pass the entrance exam, you will be sent to the slave army and dispatched to the front lines as cannon fodder."

A Senior Sister noticed ng Lian standing nearby and chuckled. She wrapped herself around his arm and began her sales pitch.

ng Lian felt the softness against his arm, and his thoughts began to wander. But when he saw the price, he instantly lost his composure.

This potion cost two thousand credits!

ng Lian suspected these Senior Sisters knew the new students had exactly two thousand credits. They were trying to drain every last bit of their savings.

The Senior Sister seed to read his mind. She leaned close to his ear, her inviting red lips parting slightly as warm breath brushed against him.

"Junior, don't worry. Senior Sister offers a loan service too~"
