Later that day, even though it was still dawn, the knight inford Sir Simon about the cure.

Sir Simon waited outside Robert’s Magic Academy.

Soon, he saw Jin walking toward him.

Jin said, "The cure is ready. We’ll take care of your wife from here. I’ll update you later."

Simon asked, "Can I at least co in?"

Jin shook his head and replied, "The academy doesn’t allow outsiders unless it’s an ergency."

All Simon could do was nod and watch as his unconscious wife was carried inside. He placed his full trust in the noble student. It’s not like he had any other choice.Later that day, even though it was still dawn, the knight inford Sir Simon about the cure.

Jin proceeded to bring her to the academy’s clinic.

Professor Linda had arrived early as well.

She muttered, "Pink rose pignt on her skin... and she’s barely alive."

She motioned for the priest to use divine healing, but it didn’t work.

Professor Linda frowned and said, "This truly is the Rose of Death."

Jin replied, "It’s not contagious, at least."

Soon, students began gathering at the clinic. After all, Yin had spread word that today he would perform a miracle—curing an incurable disease.

Everyone expected him to fail, even Professor Linda, who stood at the back with a smug grin.

Monts later, Yin arrived. He looks completely exhausted while his hands are plastered.

Professor Linda thought to herself, "He’s still recovering from those injuries in the chamber. His luck has run out, and that experint was a failure."

Yin stood tall and declared, "Today is the day my na will be carved into greatness."

He took a deep breath and turned to Professor Linda with a mocking grin. "I will break through and surpass the limits of human knowledge in alchemy."

The students began murmuring.

"Just get it started already," soone muttered.

lo Mistarm, his partner from the trial, scoffed, "What’s he doing? He clearly has no brain for this. He’s nothing more than a petty criminal."

Yin’s theatrics weren’t winning anyone over—especially not Professor Linda, who found his attitude insulting.

He pulled out a small vial containing a powdered orange grain.

"This is the miracle dicine, created by my genius," he announced. "It’s C₁₈H₂₆N₂..."

He paused. "O₄..."

No one cared about the formula.

Professor Linda interrupted sharply, "Can we begin already? This is a serious situation, not a performance."

Yin barely looked her way. He clapped his hands and said, "Clear the area. I’m starting the treatnt."

He entered the clinic alone.

Everyone watched from behind the transparent glass, waiting.

Yin wore a mask.

He scooped a spoonful of the orange grain from the vial and opened the patient’s mouth.

Nothing happened.

The girl’s condition remained dire, and Professor Linda began to smile—Yin had clearly failed.

Yet Yin stayed confident and focused, moving like a seasoned alchemist.

Gently, he lifted the patient and turned her on the bed to reveal her back.

With care, he pulled down the lower part of her linen robe.

Professor Linda rose from her seat and exclaid, "What is he doing? He’s clearly failed. That dicine didn’t work!"

Jin stepped in, calmly saying, "Trust him—for now."

Linda frowned, thinking, "Freshn these days have no manners whatsoever."

Yin removed the plaster from his hand, revealing a bruised and rough palm.

The atmosphere shifted.

He released a terrifying red aura—everyone felt it.

It was an aura ant to kill.

Professor Linda scread, "Open the door! He’s trying to kill the patient!"

She thought, Yin Farrock was a criminal who got into this Academy. Trusting him was a mistake.

No one moved. No one resisted.

After all, he had permission from the Vice Master.

Their worst fears were coming true.

Yin poured his aura into the patient, ruthless and relentless.

The ground trembled from the force. The shockwaves were so strong, each surge made the patient’s body jolt.

It was the kind of aura only a first-rank from the trial could wield.

Two senior students arrived, alard by the chaos.

One of them asked, "So this is where the aura ca from? A freshman?"

They moved to open the alembic chamber door, ready to stop Yin’s madness. But Jin Claye stepped in and blocked their path.He said firmly, "Everyone, calm down. No one is allowed to interfere."

Professor Linda snapped, "How can we stay calm when that mad criminal is trying to kill soone?"

One senior growled, "Step aside, junior boy. Unless you want to get hurt."Jin stood his ground. "Try ," he said, unfazed.

They locked eyes, ready to clash.Jin thought to himself, "This is bad. Two senior students against ... not an easy fight."

"Arrrrgggghhhh..."

Just as the tension was about to explode, a loud scream pierced the air.It ca from inside the alembic chamber—the patient, writhing in pain.

Everyone froze. No one dared move.Even Yin was stunned, but quickly regained his composure.

No one had ever survived the Rose of Death.

Not a single scream. Not a blink. Not even a flutter of the eyes.

But this patient scread.

That could only an one thing.

He stepped out with a grin, breaking the silence."I succeeded in curing the Rose of Death."

The patient grunted again, her voice strained.

"That hurts... damn."

Professor Linda’s jaw dropped.

She had never expected Yin—a criminal with no formal alchemy training—to succeed.

Jin walked past her without hesitation.

"You’d better co up with a legal excuse for trying to interfere with a critical dical procedure," he said, throwing a sharp glance at the two senior students before leaving.

Yin stepped forward.

"She’s still weak, but with continuous treatnt, she’ll recover in no ti," he said calmly.

Yin’s advice was so clear and confident that he looked like a skilled alchemist—definitely not what you’d expect from soone with a criminal past.

Then he turned to Linda, a victorious glint in his eyes.

He won the bet and made history by curing the deadly Rose of Death. A breakthrough in the world of alchemy."
