"President, Abe has announced that he has completed his assignnt" Jackson said as he entered the room. "The NMWA's army is defeated"

"We dinosaurs have suffered eight casualties" Al completed.
Jackson lowered his head. "Yes. Excuse , Mr. Ambassador"
"I understand" Jocelyne murmured. "I will imdiately announce the results of the battle live nationally. In the next few days we will have a monunt built at the site of the battle to commorate those who fell on this day"
"Sounds like a sensible choice" Jackson said. "Abe asks to know what he can do with the seized weapons"
"Tell him he can keep them all. As defense minister he will know how to make them pay better than " Jocelyne replied. "Well, we're done for today. Now it's all in the hands of lord Sobek"
Al nodded. "The pack leader is ready to start the attack. Indeed, it has probably already started"
"Are you so sure you will win?" Jackson asked. "What's your strategy?"
"I am not allowed to disclose it. Don't get wrong, I trust you, but there could be bugs in the room" the allosaur replied.
"Al is right. We can't be sure of anything right now"Jocelyne said. "We just have to wait"

Jocelyne smiled. "Jackson, what do you think the odds are that the dinosaurs will win?"
"Based on what we know about them and my experience in war tactics, I would say no more than thirty percent"
"Very good. So let's sit and wait, and watch how lord Sobek defeats the odds and wins!"

"Are the teams ready?"
Sobek was watching the fleet from a strategic point. The fortifications and hiding places that Pierce had designed and Eema had erected were truly impeccable; he could observe humans without any need to use [Ambush].
Beside him stood Blue and Rambo. "My underlings are ready" the velociraptor replied.
"Mine too" added the rhamphorhynchus.
"Great" Sobek growled. "Rember, it will take exceptional timing for everything to work perfectly. Let be clear: you will only have to act when I send the order, clear?"
"Yes, pack leader"
"Good. Buck, what can you tell about the state of the assault legion?"
The tyrannosaurus stepped forward. "My troops are ready to launch a massive attack as soon as you give the order"
"Carnopo?"
"Mine too. I all know the plan and are ready for battle" the carnotaur replied.
"Apache?"
"My birds are not tired at all. Give us your order and we will execute them imdiately"
"Pierce?"
"My troops are ready to eliminate anyone trying to reach the mainland"
"Monica?"
"If there are survivors, my subordinates will find them wherever they flee"
Sobek nodded, then contacted Mazu with the [Contract]: "Are you ready too?"
"I await your order only, pack leader" was the reply that ca from the mosasaur.
"It looks like everything is in order" Sobek confird. "Very well, it's ti to start this battle! Let the operation begin!"
Blue and Rambo nodded and then ran away, until they reached a nearby spot where several teams of five dinosaurs and one pterosaur each had gathered. "Here we are! Activate [Teleportation]! "
Contrary to what one might think, most dinosaurs weren't huge at all. Many of the dinosaur fossils were gigantic because the bones were better preserved if they were larger. But in truth most of the dinosaurs didn't exceed the size of a turkey.
So fool might think this was a handicap in a war. Nothing could be more false. Smaller size ant being able to infiltrate places where larger creatures did not reach… such as the not very large rooms of ships.
In the previous days and weeks, Rambo had mapped every single inch of the entire fleet. The rhamphorhynchus had recruited the smallest pterosaurs and birds of all, many of them no bigger than a hummingbird, who using [Ambush] and good stealth skills had managed to infiltrate and carefully study their insides. Once finished, not only could the dinosaurs now use [Teleportation] to attack from within, but they also knew all the weaknesses of the huge aircraft carriers.
Once this map was obtained, Sobek had extrapolated all this information thanks to the mind-sharing ability of the [Contract] and had then transmitted it to Blue. The velociraptor, possessing the title of 'scientist', was able to quickly assess which were the most delicate and suitable points to hit.
Like all the other generals, Blue in the previous months had also ford his own team of very clever dinosaurs; and consequently she was prepared for a large-scale sabotage operation.
Ships were a great way to transport hundreds of thousands of soldiers, but even the most armored ships had weaknesses. The motors, the pumps, the command structures; it was enough to cut a few threads or damage a few pipes to cause the ship to be seriously damaged. This would have been enough to send the entire crew into chaos. But not only that: the dinosaurs also knew how to access the most powerful weapons, who were the n in command, the communication systems, everything. By eliminating these variables, humans would be confused and disorganized for at least a few minutes.
And for Sobek, chaos was the key to gaining the edge in the fight.
The dinosaur handpieces teleport to strategic locations. So appeared next to the engines, others in the power system, others in the armories, others below the control room. There were thousands of them and each of them knew exactly what to do.
However, once the goal was reached, everyone waited. Protected by [Ambush], no one can see them. They remained motionless, not even moving a muscle. Not until Sobek's order arrived in their minds: "NOW!"
At that point, the greatest sabotage in the history of Eden began.

Quaritch sat in his study, pondering what was happening.
In the last few hours there had been no accidents, but neither had any developnts. The fleet had remained calm, rely moving slightly along the coast, without approaching or moving away from the shore. For their part, the dinosaurs hadn't made any moves; surely they were watching them, but they weren't attacking.
Quaritch had considered what was happening and had realized two things. First: the dinosaurs didn't have many missiles at their disposal. Otherwise, why stop their attack? It would have been much more efficient to continue bombing the fleet from a distance. This would not only exterminate many soldiers, but it would also force the fleet to ditch and move into dinosaur territory, where they would have the advantage. Consequently, the fact that they stopped their attack ant they couldn't afford to waste bullets. After all, Lord Sobek had declared himself open to peace, but he had never held back when it ca to fighting the enemy; so the fact that he had decided to stop the attack could have no other aning.
This was flattering to humans. But even more flattering was the fact that Quaritch's defense plan worked fine: he had had confirmation when the dinosaurs had not launched any attacks. If he had been lord Sobek, Quaritch would have moved against them imdiately after shooting down the planes and firing the missiles; even if they did not do much damage, the missiles still scared the soldiers and lowered their morale, so continuing with the attack would have caused the fleet to at least withdraw. The fact that Sobek hadn't dared so much ant that he was aware that he had no chance of getting past the blockade of ships and submarines that protected the fleet.
Both of these information were of vital importance. It ant that humans, at least for the mont, didn't have to fear anything. Breaking the blockade would cost the enemy a lot, so he was unlikely to act without the situation having changed first.
However, Quaritch was concerned about Wainfleet's lack of communications. He feared that the attack on Beleriard had failed for so reason. He couldn't figure out how, but he had to take that possibility into account. He decided that if Wainfleet didn't contact him within an hour, he would order Jake Sully to send so of his troops to check.
As he mulled over these thoughts, the lights suddenly went out.
"Uh? What the...?" Quaritch exclaid before the red ergency light ca on. He rushed out of his cabin. "What is happening?"
"General, the ship's power system has been sabotaged!" so soldiers exclaid. "We don't know how it happened, but several threads have been cut! The armory was also emptied and the remaining weapons were tampered with and dismantled! And the communications antennas were destroyed!"
"What!? How could this have happened?"
"We don't know, sir. It all happened too quickly..."
"General!" another soldier joined them out of breath. "General, you must co to the bridge! So of the ships have changed course and are heading towards our boats!"
Quaritch asked for no further explanation; he rushed outwards and went out on the deck of the ship. From there he could see many aircraft carriers that many aircraft carriers and other small ships had abandoned their position and were heading at full speed against the other ships; on their decks you could see so soldiers running from side to side shouting sothing. "What's going on?"
"General, we have managed to re-establish so communications!" one of the soldiers exclaid. "Our companions from the other ships say soone has taken over and sealed themselves in the cockpit! They are trying to break down the doors, but it is difficult since the armories have been emptied and therefore they are without heavy weapons! "
"Taken over... sealed..." Quaritch's hands were shaking. "It was the dinosaurs! How? How did they manage to overco the blockade and get on board?"
It all happened in seconds. Several ships crashed into each other. The fire flared up and the roars deafened many soldiers. The gigantic boats were torn apart by the force of the impact and began to sink, dragging and trapping thousands of soldiers.
"General!" the soldier from before scread again. "We got more communications from the remaining ships! They say that the motors, lights, energy and all electronic systems have stopped working! And submarines are also having the sa problem. Many of them ask for help because they are rapidly running out of oxygen!"
"Order all soldiers to take up arms and get ready!" Quaritch yelled. "It's just a matter of ti now. The attack will begin shortly and we must..."
A roar tore through the air. "The attack has already begun, human!" Quaritch was able to hear before a huge t-rex entered his field of vision.
