Chapter 66
You Kill ?
The fountain in the center of the square had long since dried up, its basin now filled with black crystals growing sharply like countless blades, refracting a heart-palpitating purple light.
The once-clear pool water had now turned into a thick, ink-green viscous fluid, its surface continuously bubbling and emitting a gurgle gurgle sound, as if sothing evil was brewing beneath.
The streets were littered with the corpses of various creatures, indistinguishable whether they were human or other animals.
Their bodies were twisted and deford, their skin showing a bizarre bluish-gray hue, covered in black patterns as if eroded by so evil power.
So of the corpses’ eyes were still open, staring vacantly and lifelessly at the sky, as if still fearfully witnessing that terrifying sacrificial ritual.
The scene soon cut off.
Clearly, the person transporting the supplies couldn’t bear such horrifying images and chose to flee quickly.
Sherisa Noel put away the crystal ball in her hand, her expression grave.
“Caucasus City has completely beco a site for the cultists’ sacrificial rituals, all the residents there have fallen as offerings.”
She placed her hand over her heart.
Her suppressed mood made it impossible for her to say anything else.
The entire city had been destroyed by those cultists.
Those innocent masses had beco nourishnt for black magic.
“To set up such a large sacrificial magic array for a city this size isn’t sothing that can be done overnight. Moreover, it requires a massive amount of materials and resources. If there weren’t any moles within Caucasus City, that would obviously be a lie.”
Inferring from Sherisa’s words, it was likely that Caucasus City had long been infiltrated by moles.
And those moles were in high positions, wielding considerable power.
“This matter, we will report it to His Majesty the King, and we will also investigate privately. Mother is also highly concerned about this matter, but the current situation still requires getting you out of here.”
Sherisa seed to want to say more, but just then, there was a knock on the door.
“Miss Sherisa, ti’s up.”
Sherisa frowned slightly; she hadn’t expected ti to pass so quickly.
She had spent a considerable amount of money to be able to see Henry this ti.
Otherwise, given Henry’s current status, ordinary people were prohibited from visiting.
“I have to go. Take good care of yourself here. I will make arrangents for everything to make you as comfortable as possible.”
Just as Sherisa was about to get up and leave, Henry grabbed her hand.
“Honestly, Sherisa, you give off such a wifely feeling.”
Hearing Henry’s words, Sherisa’s cheeks instantly flushed red, and the hand he held felt as hot as molten lava.
But she still forced herself to remain calm and managed a smile.
“Want to marry ?”
“Uh, we’ll talk about that later, we’ll talk later. I haven’t had enough of being single yet.”
Marriage was sothing far too distant for Henry; he hadn’t even considered such a question yet.
He had too many troubles on his plate right now; he needed to ensure his own survival first before thinking about future life.
“By the way, Sherisa. Next ti you send Lilith over, have her bring sothing. I’ve thought of a way to solve this problem.”

Jessica Lewis was escorted to the Abyssal Prison by Joseph under the pretext of reflection.
This was a place for holding major criminals.
Most criminals here were destined for execution.
Joseph imprisoned Jessica here precisely to humiliate her, to shatter her so-called self-esteem!
In Joseph’s view, Jessica had an excess of self-awareness.
As an imperial tool, she didn’t need to think, only needed to follow Joseph’s will.
Entering the Abyssal Prison, the first thing that hit was the pungent sll of rust, decay, and sulfur mixed together. The rocks underfoot were perpetually damp and cold, constantly oozing a black viscous fluid.
The wall lamps on both sides of the passage burned with “corpse oil,” the flas a dim eerie green, stretching human shadows into distorted monster shapes.
The Royal Knights opened the cell door and then pushed Jessica inside.
“Your Highness the Princess, please reflect carefully here.”
The cell door closed, and the surroundings instantly fell into dead silence.
Jessica leaned against the edge of the cell, curling herself into a ball.
At this mont, her mind was filled with the image of that woman wearing her mother’s ring.
She couldn’t understand why her father and mother had been so deeply in love before, but after her mother passed away, her father seed to beco a completely different person.
Could it be that his previous attitude was all an act put on by her father?
Did he not have even the slightest bit of love for her mother?
Jessica couldn’t figure it out and didn’t know what she could do now.
Henry was still imprisoned outside, while she could only be locked up here, powerless to do anything.
Jessica felt utterly powerless.
The last ti she had felt this way was when Henry was stabbed through the abdon, and she couldn’t save him.
Now, it was happening again, and she was still powerless.
Jessica tried to use her magic.
But the Abyssal Prison had specialized devices underground to suppress magic.
Moreover, her sword had been confiscated; there was no way for her to escape from this prison now!
She slamd her fist fiercely onto the ground, blood staining her fist, a horrifying sight.
“I can’t do anything…”
Jessica closed her eyes in despair, tears slowly sliding down the corners of her eyes.
After Sherisa left the prison, Henry’s cell welcod another uninvited guest.
“It seems this is Henry.”
Selina walked in.
She had heard of this down-and-out young master of the Rulter Family, but this was her first ti eting him.
It had to be said, Henry was indeed very handso, perfectly inheriting the Rulter’s excellent bloodline.
Even she was sowhat srized.
Henry looked at this hot-bodied girl with a face full of confusion.
Why was this prison like a brothel, where anyone could co and go as they pleased?
“Does the prison now offer special services? Is the Empire so humane?”
Selina’s face stiffened instantly.
She could tell Henry had mistaken her for that kind of loose woman!
Indeed, the Rulter Family made the right choice kicking this guy out.
With that mouth of his, he was bound to cause trouble!
“I forgot to introduce myself. I am Selina, the future Queen.”
Upon hearing this, Henry scrutinized the woman before him carefully.
The other party was dressed provocatively, heavily made-up, and at first glance, didn’t seem like a decent woman.
His Majesty the King was into this type now?
Liking it was one thing, but actually wanting to marry this kind of person as his wife.
Henry rarely called soone foolish, but not being able to distinguish between soone suitable for marriage and soone only fit to be a mistress, no wonder the Empire was gradually declining.
And compared to the deceased Queen Eliana, it felt like this one would only latch onto His Majesty the King and suck him dry.
“So, future Queen, what business do you have with ?”
Henry lay on the ground without a care for his image.
From his actions, Selina could sense his disdain. She narrowed her eyes, her tone unfriendly.
“Aren’t you afraid of death?”
“You kill ?”
Henry lazily retorted.
