Chapter 113
Henry, I’ve Finally Found You!
“The great fire in the Demon Forest is actually related to the cultists?”
A teacher couldn’t restrain himself and stood up, looking at the person on the screen in surprise.
The great fire in the Demon Forest had attracted a lot of attention back in the day.
A rampaging magical creature had destroyed the entire forest, but no one had ever said this matter was related to the cultists.
On the contrary, rlin and Reina sitting on the platform were much calr.
It seed they were aware of the inside story.
“This kid Henry, he figured out the source so easily?” Reina said to herself.
rlin picked up where she left off. “Have so confidence in your student. Henry has dealt with those people plenty before, so it’s not strange he could guess so connection.”
“I’m more curious about what choice he’ll make next.”
Reina wondered if Henry might possibly change the outco within the story.
Just as Headmaster rlin said.
From the very beginning, Henry believed that a perfectly normal forest couldn’t just undergo a mutation spontaneously.
If there was human intervention, it must be the work of the cultists.
That’s just their reputation!
“Student Henry, what do you an by that?” Ruf seed not to understand why Henry would ask such a question.
Suddenly, Hebeth seed to realize sothing, her eyes widening as she excitedly patted Ruf’s shoulder.
“It’s those cultists! The symbol classmate Henry ntioned is the mark of those cultists!”
Ruf’s mouth fell open, completely agape.
He never expected that just by saving a single red-clothed elf, they would obtain such a crucial clue.
“So what should we do now?”
“We’ll have to ask our guest about that.”
Henry smiled at them, just as dozens of black figures erged from the surrounding bushes.
The figures stared intently at the red-clothed elf behind Henry, looking fiercely aggressive.
Hebeth, however, pulled the elf behind her, shielding her.
“You arrived quite quickly. Seems you followed the scent.”
Henry rubbed his palms together and stepped to the very center, becoming the most obvious target.
“What are you staring at the young lady for? Can’t you look at a handso guy like ?”
Henry used [Taunt]. The effect was diocre.
Seeing they weren’t particularly stirred, Henry shrugged his shoulders and said helplessly.
“Fine. It seems not only are your appearances unsightly, but your voices lack magnetism too. No wonder the girl has been hiding from you all this ti. Better stop being stalkers and honestly go ho and find a day job.”
Henry used [Taunt] again. The effect was superb!
The leader smashed down an alchemical tool, and black mist instantly billowed around them.
Tricks nearly identical to Demon Scorpion’s.
One of them stealthily approached behind Henry, a poison-coated dagger gleaming with a sinister green chill.
“Kid, you’ll be the first to die from talking too much!”
“Are you sure you aren’t saying that to yourself?”
The Pure Yang Sword Technique radiated a dazzling light within the black mist.
A flash of sword light swept by.
A head tumbled to the ground just like that.
“With skills like yours, you’re not even as good as Demon Scorpion.”
“Demon Scorpion? You’ve fought Demon Scorpion?” soone exclaid in surprise.
“Didn’t your companion remind you? Villains die from talking too much.”
Henry’s voice sounded behind him.
A single sword strike ended his life.
What was originally the cultists’ black mist had now beco Henry’s hunting ground.
Henry moved through the black mist, continuously cutting down these cultist assassins.
Screams of agony were unending, the thick sll of blood perating the entire forest.
“Disperse!”
At the leader’s command, the black mist scattered.
Ruf and the others looked at the corpses on the ground, completely speechless.
This… this is Henry’s true strength?
The leader stared fixedly at Henry, his eyes burning with rage.
He had co specifically for that red-clothed elf. If she was saved by this man before him, their secrets might be exposed!
“Henry, I’ve finally found you!”
A voice disrupted the standoff!
The leader instinctively looked back, only to see soone wearing the sa uniform as the man before him, seemingly from the sa school.
The newcor stared at Henry with furious eyes, clearly here to settle a score.
Henry narrowed his eyes at the arrival.
It was Luning!
He never expected this guy to be like a vengeful ghost, searching for him even within the mory fragnt.
Was he really that popular?
Without another word, the fight began!
Luning directly hurled a lightning strike at Henry, who easily dodged it.
But the mont the lightning struck the ground, the shattered rocks exploded outwards, flying in all directions.
This action made the teachers watching from outside frown involuntarily.
“What is Luning doing? Can’t he read the situation?”
“The enemy is right there, and he’s hung up on a personal grudge?”
Seeing his colleagues’ angry expressions, Sidney quickly stepped in to smooth things over.
“Luning didn’t notice the cultist. He didn’t do it on purpose.”
Henry’s voice ca through from the scene.
“Luning, are you insane? Can’t you see the huge cultist right there?”
“What damned cultists? They have nothing to do with ! I will defeat you completely here and now!”
Luning’s roar echoed through the quiet hall.
At this mont, Sidney’s heart felt as good as dead.
Forget it. Just let it all end.
While expulsion might not happen, Luning would definitely lose face in the teachers’ eyes.
Luning threw several Lightning Spears at Henry, then used magic to form a bow and arrow, determined to kill Henry here and now.
Henry continuously dodged, looking for an opportunity to knock Luning out of the match.
The key problem was that the cultist had already hidden in the shadows, ready to strike at any mont.
This added to Henry’s concerns.
anwhile, Luning seed to have completely descended into madness.
He constantly expended magical power while continuously drinking recovery potions, all with the sole aim of making Henry fail.
“Tch, ntally ill people are so annoying!”
Henry scanned the shadows, but then heard Luning’s cold laugh.
“Daring to lose focus?”
His sinister laugh mixed with incantations as dark clouds suddenly pressed down, lightning rolling within them like silver snakes.
A massive golden bow instantly materialized in Luning’s hands!
The rats hiding in the shadows moved instantly, rushing toward the red-clothed elf from different directions.
The barrier Ruf deployed shattered instantly, but Hebeth decisively placed herself in front of him.
In that instant, a flying sword whistled through the air.
The flying sword instantly pierced through several people’s bodies before returning to Henry’s hand.
But in that very mont, the longbow ford from lightning humd, an arrow trailing purple lightning streaking through the air.
Henry’s pupils constricted sharply. He turned and used the Pure Yang Sword Technique to slash down, only to see the arrow suddenly split into two, shooting straight toward Henry’s back!
Henry instinctively turned to stop it.
But the only response was the sound of a massive explosion!
The red-clothed elf was sent flying by the blast, her clothes tattered from the explosion.
Simultaneously, Ruf and Hebeth were pierced by the sa arrow before it exploded!
They instantly turned into points of light and vanished before Henry’s eyes.
“Even if I can’t kill you, I will destroy everything you hold dear!”
Luning gasped for breath, pulling a recovery potion from his pocket intending to drink it.
But before he could raise his hand, he discovered his right hand was gone.
Before he could process what happened, he fell heavily to the ground.
Lying before him were his own severed limbs.
“Wh… what’s going on?”
Luning lay on the ground, unable to move, until Henry appeared before him.
Only then did the excruciating pain wash over him!
“Hen… Henry! What have you done?!”
Henry didn’t respond to his words, rely plunging the blade into Luning’s eyeball under his terrified gaze.
“Ahhhhh! You damned trash, I’ll kill you! Kill you!!”
“Idiot.”
Henry’s tone was calm as he thodically severed Luning’s head.
