Linglu Pavilion.

This was the place where disciples of all ranks in the Taihuang Sacred Land ca to collect their monthly cultivation resources, as well as to receive rewards for completing Sacred Land missions and making contributions.

"Junior Nephew Chu, this is part of your reward for retrieving the Huanglong Seal for the Sacred Land, along with your monthly cultivation resource allocation."

The one in charge of the Linglu Pavilion was Elder Li, a great cultivator at the mighty expert level. Chu Ge had t him once during the earlier testing, so he had so impression of him.

Taking the storage ring handed over by the other party, Chu Ge sent his divine sense inside and was imdiately startled.

Spirit stones were piled up in heaps, forming dozens of small mountains. Judging from their luster and the dense, pure spiritual energy swirling around them, it was not hard to tell that every single one of them was a top-grade spirit stone.

Aside from spirit stones, all kinds of cultivation talismans, spiritual dicines, and spiritual materials that cultivators might need were also present in abundance, stacked in massive quantities as if this were a wholesale warehouse.

"This… this seems a bit too much, doesn't it…?"

Chu Ge smacked his lips in amazent. With a rough count, there were well over a million top-grade spirit stones inside.

"Haha, besides the Sacred Land's official reward, so of this is also a gesture of goodwill from us. That day, we benefited greatly from the light of the Heaven-and-Earth Dao Derivation. Junior Nephew Chu, you must not refuse!"

"Also, from now on, you won't need to co here in person anymore. Each month's resources will be delivered directly to the Taihuang Hall by designated personnel."

Elder Li spoke with a warm smile. He himself had benefited from the Heaven-and-Earth Dao Derivation as well, so his impression of Chu Ge was extrely favorable.

"Then this junior thanks Elder Li and all the elders for your kindness."

Chu Ge cupped his fists in a formal salute.

"Haha, don't thank just yet—there's more."

Elder Li waved his hand with a smile and continued, "Besides these resources, Elder Shui has also refined a complete batch of pills for you, and Grand Elder Dantai is personally forging spirit weapons and spirit equipnt tailored specifically for you. Once they're finished, you'll be notified."

"This is treatnt that even we elders rarely get to enjoy."

After saying this, Elder Li couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

Shui Qianrou and Dantai Jinglian—one excelled at alchemy, the other at artifact forging, and both had reached extrely high levels of mastery.

The forr was easier to deal with. With her gentle temperant, as long as one paid the appropriate compensation out of consideration for sect ties, these elders could usually persuade her to take action.

This ti, however, as it was an official Sacred Land reward, Shui Qianrou naturally could not refuse. Moreover, she herself had gained imnse benefits from the Heaven-and-Earth Dao Derivation.

On the surface, she refined a batch of pills for Chu Ge as part of the official reward. In secret, however, she prepared quite a few extra, intending to give them to Chu Ge privately as a personal token of gratitude.

But Dantai Jinglian was much harder to deal with. Her status was already lofty, her cultivation nearly unmatched, and her temperant eccentric and unpredictable.

Even among this group of core elders, none of them were confident they could persuade her to personally forge artifacts.

Fortunately, this ti it was she who took the initiative to offer to forge spirit weapons for Chu Ge. Otherwise, they truly would have been at a loss.

One reward after another left Chu Ge thoroughly amazed. He had expected the Taihuang Sacred Land to be generous, but he never imagined it would be this lavish.

Not only him—even Su Lingyuan, who was accompanying him, was visibly shocked.

She knew that on top of all this, Luo Huangjun, as Chu Ge's master, would also bestow additional rewards upon him.

Before leaving the Linglu Pavilion, Chu Ge did not forget to use his check-in opportunity.

[Ding! Check-in at the Linglu Pavilion. Reward obtained: Wind–Thunder Twin-Birth Stone ×1. Congratulations, Host—this check-in has triggered a critical hit. Additional reward: Wind–Thunder Twin-Birth Stone ×1.]

Whoa!

A critical hit.

Chu Ge raised his brows in surprise. This was his first critical bonus since upgrading the check-in module.

Although he did not yet know what exactly the Wind–Thunder Twin-Birth Stone was used for, just getting double the reward already made him quite pleased.

After leaving the Linglu Pavilion, Chu Ge and Su Lingyuan had not gone far when they saw several people approaching them head-on.

Chu Ge noticed that as soon as Su Lingyuan saw the newcors, her expression changed, turning sowhat cold.

Ill intentions?

With that thought in mind, Chu Ge carefully observed the leader of the group.

The man wore a long robe of black with golden patterns. His figure was tall and imposing. From his appearance, Chu Ge judged that his age was not much different from his own.

Of course, it could not be ruled out that the man was actually an imnsely powerful cultivator who maintained his youthful appearance through advanced cultivation.
