Leo stopped dancing. His heart was hamring against his ribs like a trapped bird. This was the mont of truth.
He stood in the center of the room, fixing his hair, trying to look dignified before the settlent.
"Just one more minute!" The goblin landed on Leo’s shoulder, exclaiming.
"Hmm? You can also see the system panel and the tirs?" Leo was montarily taken aback, but he quickly shook his head. "No, I’ll talk about that later. Don’t distract now."
He didn’t even feel this nervous when the result of his exams was about to be released. It was also because he knew that what a massive success he was going to have this ti.
"Fifty-nine... fifty-eight..."
He held his breath. He could almost hear the sound of seconds ticking away, even though the tir from the system was completely silent.
"Ten... nine... eight..."
Leo closed his eyes, a serene smile spreading across his face.
"Seven... six... five..."
He braced himself for the chi. The sound of destiny. The ’Cha-ching’ that would echo through the halls of history.
"Three... two... one..."
Once the count finished, the familiar chi of the system resounded, and Leo slowly opened his eyes. It was ti to see how much he had actually lost this ti.
[Congratulations Host, you have completed the sixth month]

"Finally!" Leo exclaid as the contents of the screen changed.

"Huh?" Leo looked at the screen blankly. If his jaw wasn’t connected to his skull, it might have already fallen to the floor.
"Ah, I understand. I was so happy that I passed out, and now I’m dreaming. No wonder there was a goblin dancing with here." Leo laughed, shaking his head.
He slowly turned to the little goblin on his shoulder and said, "Little guy, can you punch and wake up? I don’t like this dream anymore. Wake up so I can check my real notification."
The Goblin didn’t ask twice. He clenched his fist, and punched Leo’s face with his tiny fist.
Although the goblin was small, his fist packed quite a punch. Leo was imdiately sent flying, while the goblin was left behind, standing in the air where Leo’s shoulder used to be.
Leo slamd against the wall, almost coughing blood as he started seeing stars.
"You bastard, did you have to punch so hard?" Leo exclaid, almost rushing back to strangle this little goblin even as his body was aching.
He didn’t notice one thing though. Normally, as a human, he would have easily broken a few bones after crashing on the wall.
He wasn’t wearing any protective armor after all.
Still, he only felt a little pain, even though he had taken such a harsh fall. It was as if his body at its core had started changing into sothing more than a human.
"Wait, you punched so hard, and yet I’m not awake?" Leo wondered, stopping in his tracks.
"To wake up, wouldn’t you have to sleep first? How can you wake up when you’re already awake?" The Goblin tilted his head sideways, asking in a bewildered manner.
"I’m awake... That ans that notification was true? How the heck is that even physically possible? How the fuck did Alpha Corp earn 2.5 trillion when not a single person had repaid the loan?"
Leo ran back to the system screen that was still stationary at the place where he was initially standing.
His eyes narrowed so hard that they were barely getting any lights in as he observed every line in the evaluation screen again and again.
Alpha Bank had lost over two trillion credits. So where did they two and a half trillion co from?
"Which bastard screwed over this ti?" He exclaid, looking at the goblin. "I’ve been keeping an eye on Alpha Lab’s account this month. I would’ve known if they earned any credits!"
"Moreover, we weren’t selling invisible clothing. And even if we sold them all for a premium price, it wouldn’t have earned more than a few hundred billion in a month! So how?! Where the heck did this money co from?"
Leo almost felt like pulling his silver hair that had only recently been dyed to this shiny shade.
He glared at the goblin, asking, "Where did this money co from?"
"How would I know?" The Goblin asked in returning, blinking his wide eyes innocently.
"No, it’s impossible. It must be a bug in the system. Did it ss up the position of the dots by a few places? Where do I file a review petition?" Leo mumbled, pacing back and forth.
"It’s impossible for the system to make a mistake. If it’s showing this number, then it’s coming from sowhere. The question is... Where?" The Goblin also wondered, scratching the back of his head.
"Wait a minute, before I forget that..." Leo suddenly stared at the goblin, feeling the pain from that punch in his cheeks even now.
"If you knew that it wasn’t a dream, then why the heck did you hit ?" he asked, rubbing his cheeks.
"I thought you were a masochist. I was just complying with your weird kinks..." The tiny goblin said, still as innocently as ever. "After all, why else would you ask poor little to punch you out of nowhere?"
"You... Whatever. Can you find out where this two and a half trillion is calculated from, and where the heck even is this money? I don’t see it anywhere..."
Leo pinched the goblin’s collars and carried him over to the small floating table, placing him on the chair in the back.
