"So that was why you and mom always had to leave..." Sera said as she rembered the tis that it was only her and her brother in their house.

At this mont, Zen thought of sothing and asked, "But that, did mom co with you?"

After all, if Ren left and t alone with the upper echelons of the United States, then it would an that Rina wasn’t with him and they wouldn’t have been together at all.

"Well..." Rina giggled and said, "I sneaked in his car, hehe~"

"Why are you acting like a teenager in love? You’re just a disgusting old hag." Margareth chid in from the side.

This comnt of hers ignited a fla within Rina which started another round of their bickering.

Ren pretended not to see this and said, "Anyways, that’s the gist of what happened back then."

Zen and Sera looked at each other, amazed by the achievents of their parents.

Ahhhhh— Haaaa~

At this mont, a yawn sounded which caught the attention of all the people in the room.

They all turned their head towards the direction where the sound ca from, only to see Nana stretching as she rubbed her eyes.

Her cute appearance quelled the heated fight of Rina and Margareth, bringing peace to the vip room.

Nana leaned her back against Sera comfortably.

When her gaze landed on Zen, a nervous expression appeared on her face. It awakened the motherly and fatherly instincts of everyone in the room.

"Haha~ Nana, don’t be afraid. He’s the brother of Sera." Margareth introduced Zen to her.

Nana turned towards Zen and called out, "B-Brother Zen?"

Zen wore his best, most friendly smile, attempting to look as harmless as possible.

Seeing this, Sera frowned and said, "You’re like one of those kidnappers that lures children by acting friendly with them."

Zen glared at Sera before speaking to Nana in a friendly manner, "Hi! I’m Zen! You can just call brother!"

Nana nodded cutely, lting the hearts of anyone who sees her.

Grumble~

"Ohhh, is Nana hungry~?" Zen teasingly asked.

Nana blushed in embarrassnt as she nodded while looking down.

Seeing her reaction, Margareth checked the ti on her watch and was surprised, "Oh my, it’s almost noon! It seems that we’ve been carried away with our conversation."

She stood up and asked, "Do you want to eat anything in particular?"

"at." Rina answered from the side.

"I’m not asking you, bitch. I’m asking my cute niece and nephew!"

Zen and Sera chuckled and shook their heads.

"Anything is fine, Aunt Margareth." Zen replied.

Margareth pouted and said, "Oh, don’t be like that~ "Anything" is the hardest to look for, did you know that~?"

Zen smiled, "Then we’ll just have what Mom is having."

"Heh~" Rina sneered from the side.

Margareth rolled her eyes towards her before asking Ren, "How about you, Commander? Still carbonara?"

Ren nodded affirmatively, "Yes, still carbonara."

"Okie. You guys just wait here first, I’ll go prepare our food~"

Rina reminded her, "Don’t forget the gravy!"

"Oh, don’t worry~ I’ll prepare our special sulfuric acid gravy for you~" Margareth said before slamming the door.

At this mont, Zen, who was beside Ren, whispered, "Dad, why are Mom and Aunt always bickering?"

Ren, who was drinking water from a glass, choked. As if he rembered a peculiar mory.

In an abandoned underground parking lot...

Whoosh! Whoosh!

A young woman with pink hair was fighting a woman with black hair and ruby-red eyes.

They were none other than the young Margareth and young Sabrina.

"You witch! Stop coveting our Commander!" Margareth shouted in anger as she rushed to punch Sabrina.

However, no matter how hard she tried, her fists t nothing but air.

"What are you talking about?" Sabrina calmly asked as she dodged the punches without effort.

Margareth looked at her with eyes full of hatred, "You really think I wouldn’t notice, huh! You’ve been having this sparkle in your eyes whenever you talk to him!"

Sabrina didn’t answer and just continued dodging Margareth’s punches.

This made Margareth even more frustrated.

"Why are you not answering!? What I said was true, right!? Why are you not answering!?"

Pak— Thud!

For the first ti in their fight, Sabrina attacked. She dodged Margareth’s punch which created an opening. Then, she proceeded to slap Margareth, making her hit the wall a few ters away.

’The fuck! This woman’s a monster!’ Thought Margareth as she seed to snap out of her rage.

"So what if I like him?" Sabrina’s voice sounded.

Margareth, who was still holding her head in dizziness, tried to shout, "H-hey! W-wai—"

Boom!

Sabrina punched the wall beside Margareth’s head, making her hand sink into the wall as cracks started to form on the area around it.

’I’m gonna die...’ This was only what Margareth had in her mind as she looked at Sabrina.

"Yes, I like him! But why are you making it sound like it’s my fault! I never ant to... Sniff* Sniff*"

"Hey, what the hell? Are you crying?" Margareth was dumbfounded. It was her first ti seeing the tough and playful Sabrina like this.

"Waaaah!" As if not able to take it anymore, Sabrina collapsed down at Margareth and started crying.

"Shhh, it’s gonna be fine..." Flabbergasted by the sudden change of events, Margareth dazedly put her hands around Sabrina, patting her back as she comforted her.

Suddenly, the both of them sensed sothing and looked in a direction. There they saw Garren, who was standing with a shocked expression on his face.

"R-Ren!" "Commander!"

The two of them didn’t know what to do.

’It’s awkward. Way too awkward. Think of sothing, fast!’ Garren’s mind began to work at high speed as he thought of ways to end this awkwardness.

After a short while, he opened his mouth and said, "Is there a need to fight? I can just marry both of you if you want."

"Huh?" "Huh?"

Sabrina and Margareth’s mind couldn’t properly process the words that ca out of Garren’s mouth.

’Shit why did I say that...’ Garren thought before saying, "O-okay. You take your ti, I’ll go first..."

However, he felt sothing grabbing him from behind.

"What did you say, Ren??? I wonder where your confidence ca from..." Sabrina’s emotionless voice ca from behind.

"Commander, so this is who you really are..." Margareth’s voice added on.

"Nah, you guys! I was just joking!" Garren tried to laugh it off as he looked behind him.

All he could see were Margareth and Sabrina’s blushing cheeks and teary eyes.

’Ah shit. I’m fucked...’

In the following minutes, the screams of a man echoed around the entire parking lot.

Back in the vip room...

"Dad, are you okay?" Zen patted his dad’s back.

Ren snapped out of his daze and said, "Yes, I just choked because of the water... Nothing to worry about."

Then, he looked at Rina who was playing with Sera and Nana, and smiled.

Creak~

At this mont, the door opened.

"I’m back!" Margareth’s voice sounded as a small commotion followed behind her.

Zen looked and saw at least 3 service carts filled with food. Of course, there were still cloches covering them so he didn’t know what kind of food they were.

However, just the number of plates alone astounded Zen.

’There’s only six of us here. So why are there so many...’

Afterwards, the waiters finished placing the food down at the table.

"Let’s eat!" Rina said excitedly as she started to dig in the food.

The room was filled with a harmonious atmosphere as they ate with each other. They chatted about the past, the future, and so other things as they ate, laughing and feeling nostalgic from ti to ti. Overall, it was a very lively brunch.
